Carrick sighed heavily, There it goes, I have to be the one to protect this group....damn it. "Fine, for the safety of the group." He said in defeat. Carrick rubbed his forehead, he made sense. Every word of it, Carrick was still angry about that, but for the sake of the group's life. He'll have to be a bit more, calm.

Daeva woke up and saw Blaze sitting beside him.

 

"Hey Blaze, what happened to the other ponies?" she asked as she looked around to see if anypony was around.

 

"Nope, they don't seem to be around." she mumbled.

Blaze heard Daeva ask a question but it barely registered, he was too invested in his thoughts to answer her question. But he eventually snapped out of his thoughts.

"We are going to probably have to go it alone. But we should tell everypony at the cabin first, just so that they know." Blaze said

Carrick said nothing. Though Hypno was right about all of this. Carrick wasn't all too happy. He honestly just wanted to leave the group by himself. However, he's committed to these ponies, he saved Hypno's life from Blaze. He jumped in the line of battle for Daeva, though he isn't very rational now. When be he is, he'll the one who protects them. Though Blaze does that as well, heh. He didn't know if Blaze would come back. In a statical standpoint it's better to be grouped up, but if we're just bickering that it might be our downfall....

"If you leave and someone dies you owe me 20 bits..." Hypno muttered at Carrick as he rested his head back, hoping Blaze would come back to the cabin soon enough. He turned to Snow "Looks like we might be here a bit longer" He said

Daeva didn't feel like going back but she knew she had to so she said "Let's just go back and get over with, maybe they'll beg us to stay with them or not." before flying over to the cabin with Blaze behind her.

They landed at the cabin, it was late afternoon. The sun was hanging lazily in the sky, and the sky was mostly clear. Blaze entered the cabin, every ponies' eyes were on Blaze waiting for him to say something, anything. Blaze just sighed, thinking for a moment, and then told them "As it stands I am of no use to this group in a combat situation. My magic being pretty much non existent. I do plan on still finishing the task that princess Celestia gave me. but the more I thing about it the more I see this is all my fault. Everyone will stay with carrick, but I... I will leave. It is up to Daeva who she wants to go with. I am to much of a liability to stay with this group. But I will say this before leave. May our paths cross again soon." Blaze left without letting the other ponies try to convince him not to. He flew off into the distance...

Hypno sighed as he walked after Blaze. Passing Daeva carelessly and flying off after him. After about 3 seconds a voice came from Blaze as he was flying away "Do you think Celestia would approve of the way you are going about your mission?" He asked

"If I can complete it, it does not matter the methodology that I use. The ends justify the means, as they say" Blaze said as he picked up speed, not necessarily to get away from hypno, it was mainly because he was ashamed and flying faster somehow made it feel like he was leaving his shame behind.

"Then what did you learn? I know Celestia and that's pretty much what she is about... Nothing, you learned to run away from people dislike. And leave them to fend for themselves just because you can't stand them and get your shit together" Hypno said as he also sped up. "And the word you used... Liability? If you are a 'Liability' then you can't complete your mission by yourself then... You must now know what that word means fully. I am a liability, but i can at least stand it."

"Look, I don't even know why you are telling me this. As I recall, I almost incinerated you not even two days ago. We are not friends, we are the farthest thing from. And yet here you are trying to talk me out of my decision? Yeah, I may not be able to complete the task alone as I stand now, but I can go off and train with Daeva and maybe regain some of my abilities." Blaze explained

"So you're just going to stop and run away with your lover and leave us to fend for ourselves?" Hypno said as he stopped flying and hovered in place. "And i thought that the Phoenixtear name wasn't one of cowards" He said as he threw a insult and started to turn around

Hypno past Daeva without giving her a look, she knew he didn't quite like me but neither did her. After a while she noticed that Blaze wasn't following her so she flew back to see what was going on.

 

On her way back she heard Hypno insulting him so she went over and told him "Just buck off Hypno, we came back to tell the other ponies that we're leaving." before pulling Blaze away.

 

"Blaze, let's just go."

"It seems you two were already in the process of 'bucking off' now weren't you?" he retorted back to her with a animalistic snarl. "But fine, run, run and leave the rest by themselves demon" He added as he started to walk off

Carrick sat down and relaxed, there wasn't much for him to do anyway. He probably could of helped Hypno, but instead he stood there. As he tried to reassess the situation in his head. A lot of thoughts popped up. How to get to Fillydelphia. Where to find the headquarters. I think I know a certain pony who might help me on that Carrick thought. He grabbed his notepad and started writing notes for his plans. All of this drama had been staggering. He just needed to get things straight.

Starbolt sat next to Carrick.

"You alright Carrick?" She asked him with a tone of concern in her voice.

'I bet he wants to go alone without the group but I can't let him.' She thought to herself.

Carick looked at her, "It's been a long day. A real long day. I've said a lot of things to Blaze. Some of them right , some of them wrong. Whatever happens, will happen. I am happy of some of things I've done today, but..." Carrick didn't finish his sentence. He started to think about it, "it doesn't matter now. Now, we have to push forward. That's all we can do." Carrick said, reading back his notes.

Blaze landed on the ground right next to a stream, he took a quick gulp from the stream and waited for Daeva to land. Once she landed next to Blaze, Blaze explained his plan to Daeva. He took out a scroll out of his saddlebags that was a map of equestria and unraveled it, He pointed to a spot on the north western cost. "This is where we are right now. Fillydelphia is all the way over here." Blaze pointed to the north eastern coast. That is about 3000 miles give or take. If we start flying right now, and factor in the stops we will have to make along the way, it will take us about 4 days. I assume the others will be taking some other form of transportation. I expect they will be there before us. I would also like to take some time to train with you, I need to gain some of my powers back" He remembered his dream where Daeva was sliced in half horizontally and he could not simply bare to have something like that happen for real, so he had to become strong again. "So, do you understand?" Blaze asked.

Thunder noticed Blaze and Daeva had landed below his cloud and closed his eyes. 'I told Luna I would protect them, but they only seem interested in tearing themselves apart,' he thought. He closed his eyes for a minute to think before opening them and flying down to Blaze and Daeva.

Daeva listened carefully to every single word that Blaze said and replied "I understand Blaze, I would also like to train with you as well so I can control my demonic power." as she hugged Blaze and held him as tight as she could.

 

"Shall we get moving to Fillydephia?" she continued "We would also need some food supplies and they're all in Dante's saddlebag, maybe I can summon him here.." she thought out loud.

 

She saw Thunder landing near Blaze and I so I asked him "What are you doing around here, are you a spy?" as she looked into his eyes.

"We might have to send Dante back to the realm you summoned him from. He seems soul bound to you so I would assume you would be able to summon him back at any time. We need to fly and Dante simply can't fly. He would be dead weight, no pun intended" He saw Thunder land right next to them, his golden armor was almost blinding. "Gosh, put that armor away it is blinding" Blaze said while squinting

 

((OOC Half-Note, you should make a way so as you can magically retract the armor into like a pendant form or something. So you are not always wearing it, it is a magical artifact after all))

Hypno walked back to the cabin without Blaze or Daeva. And he had no idea where Thunder was either. He opened the door and walked inside. "It doesn't look like they are coming with us" Hypno said to Carrick as he sat back down by Snow.

Daeva knew that what Blaze said about how Dante was soulbound was true so she tried doing the opposite of summoning him and it worked, she felt the presence of Dante disappeared and she knew it worked.

 

"Dante's gone for now, maybe I can summon that dragon I summoned. It'll surely increase our speed on traveling over to Fillydephia." she told Blaze.
