Zerrif was sick of playing games, he had a prior engagement to attend to and these weaklings were getting in the way. Zerrif decided now would be a good time to try out the fullest extent of the abilities this sword possessed and he possessed. He began to charge up energy putting some more of his life force into the sword. He used swordsmaster's will and time seemed to slow down for him, but in all reality he was going so fast that everything seemed slow in comparison. He simply approached the nighthunter and this time slashed under him creating another rift. The exit to this rift was the north pole.

Blaze thought about it, he had heard of the ability before but he knew it left hypno's body useless for a period of time.

"For now Hypno I need you to attend this meeting with me, I need more testimonials then just my own." Blaze said "But when we get back you should attempt it."

Hypno only replied with "Ahhhhhh that's not something i feel like doing..." He replied when Blaze suggested that he should go see the princess with him. He shook his head "Defiantly not a good idea for me to do that thing, that you just wanted me to do. Not good at all"

"Oh you are going, one way or another. I am not having this audience alone" Blaze said with an evil look in his eye. " I do not want to force you but I will if I have to." Blaze felt bad for even suggesting it, but Hypno was as much of a witness in this then Blaze was, not to mention the princess is a very kind and caring ruler. Who would be afraid of her?

"I'm not afraid of her or anything, but she values her kingdom. I don't think you have fully brung in the fact i'm a 1500 year old vampire that has been roaming this country eating what? Do you really think it's a good idea to bring me in front of her?" He asked him rather gruffly this time

"Um I can pretty much so guarantee that she already knows of you and your brethren, her being 1000 plus years old her self and all. I kinda doubt she would just ignore the fact that there are other immortals among her." Blaze said "Come on now just be a good guy and help me out"

"It's not because i'm immortal, it's because i'm a vampire. Vampires drink blood, it's what they have to do to survive. I don't live of of potatoes for ponies sake. I would sent to the dungeon on sight if she were to know, or even killed. She will not allow such a blight to live in the normal parts of Equestria. "Hmm... I don't think so. Dragons burn villages to the ground loot and steal, and I have heard of instances where they eat ponies whole. You don't see her going around throwing every dragon in a dungeon do you? All though I have heard she does have a dragon guarding her dungeon... but thats not the point! I have never seen you voluntarily suck the life blood out of an innocent, I have only seen you drink blood packs. That means you have morals, and I think Celestia will respect that." Blaze said.

Providence has got me stuck into this dungeon once again, Carrick laid down in the same dungeon he had been in for the past few days. He was able to see the sun once again, but was stopped by that creature. Another mystical creature just like the vampires. This case has just been crazy. Just completely crazy, the detective wonder if he ever finished the case at hoof. He'd have the same problems he had in this case. To be stuck in a dungeon once more. To have to fight a pony who could changed the weather. Destroy the senses that everypony had used so much that it would takes years to ever to function once more. A pony who wanted to create a world in a different light.

 

I wonder why Ice Star wants me alive, I never understood that. Maybe he wants to sees all the effort I've been doing be destroyed when he finally recreates the world. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Carrick continued to stare at the ceiling.

Corpus had been meditating since the escape of Carrick. He knew of Zerrif to take care of the situation instead of him. Corpus still tried to control his new magic powers he had obtained He felt the death of Blood. Than felt his presence again, I hate Vampires. Corpus knew he would have to talk to Ice Star soon. It wouldn't be a present talk, but it had to be done. The bottle and the escape of Carrick and Starbolt would be the top priority on his list....

"And, just about how long have you known me Blaze?" He said "Do you think i have a river flowing with blood packs out in that forest?" He asked. "No, i don't, the fact is that to her i'm a danger to her society, Morals or not i still am more destructive than you think"

 

The cabinets continued to knock around by Snow and Aces till the door swung open and a ferret dragging a bag of flower walked out. It noticed the two and immediately dropped it and looked rather calm still. It just started at Snow for a few seconds, then quickly glanced at aces.

Snow blinked at it, she had been rather quiet for the whole trip once again. A mental battle between herself and Ice Star had been in her head for a while. She didn't want Hypno or the others to worry about her. She had been strong, and eventually she'll be strong once again. Snow stared at the ferret, "Uhhhh, random ferret." She said, perplexed by the animal in front of her.

"I have a name you know. 'Random ferret' will do well for now i suppose. But i'm sure that will change to 'random talking ferret' in moments" The ferret said with the cross of his tiny ferret arms. "And housekeeper is not the proper one either" He grunted. The ferret was rather large in size, a bit more than a normal one.

Snow chuckled, she should of saw that one coming. Snow had seen various things in her life. Still, a talking ferret has been one of the few things that she has simply deemed...odd. "Uh, I didn't know you were a house keeper or in that case, can talk." Snow said. She wonder why a talking ferret would be a house keeper.....

"One of a kind, i suppose" He said "'I'm sure you're wondering why i'm here though, or can talk? You must know Hypno, seeing you are in his house... But i used to be a unicorn, much like yourself. And just like most unicorns, perused magic talent, Magic M'coy was my stage name actually. I did anything in this possibly world to try to become more talented. And one day i tried to use his doo-hickey. The Blood sand." He explained

 

"Let's just say i didn't even get through the front door. His brother took my skull and piked it on his staff, while Hypno took my soul and placed it in a ferret body to serve him eternally. And here i am.." He said faking enthusiasm.

Blood continued to walk until he noticed Starbolt would die without help. He walked back and jumped next to her and slapped her in the face to try to get her to wake up "Hey, sleeping beauty, wake up you dumbell." He said as he chuckled rather maliciously as he waited for a response

Starbolt felt a sharp pain as Blood hit her. She opened her eyes and saw Blood next to her. "What? Are you here to finish what you started?" She asked Blood weakly, unsure whether or not Blood was going to kill her. Starbolt managed to crawl backwards trying to put some distance between here and the bloodthirsty vampony in front of her.

"No, i'm here to save you, mainly because it would be disappointing to have you die here when i could have fun later." He said as he placed a healing spell on her. "You feel weak from blood loss but you will not die." He explained "But i must say, Hypno must of given me quite a bad reputation. But he is just a twisted as me, seeing he took the blood sand too. But he doesn't show it as much as i do. He has his own way of hiding it. He'll latch onto somepony from your group like a leach, to keep himself sane while around others. But as soon as he is betrayed, left, or suffered the death of who ever that pony was. Then you will see him flip, then you will see the real Hypno"

The healing spell hit Starbolt and she felt better. She managed to stand. "You are a liar and a monster! Hypno won't do that. He is better than you!" Starbolt shouted angrily at Blood, contempt in every syllable she spoke. She tried to ready a spell but she was still to weak and nothing happened.

"Sadly i wish what you just said was true. You'll see... When the chips are all down and he has lost everything he has tried to obtain, he'll crack under the pressure. Hypno is only as nice and good as he is allowed to be..." He chuckled before he got up to talk instead of sat.

Starbolt stepped backwards. She knew she was in no shape to fight Blood, she also knew Zerrif was somewhere around nearby. "So, now what do you want from me?" She asked him angrily. She knew he was lying about Hypno, he had to be.

(OOC Let's have Fae stay with Blaze and Daeva.)

Fae was relieved that somepony knew Starbolt was missing. She flew next to Daeva and Blaze.

"Nothing, i've already taken all i need from you now. But i suggest that you don't let whoever he has grown to like or love over the past few days doesn't have anything happen to them. But of course i hope something does happen to that pony" He chuckled "It would be interesting to see him in his old state again"

Starbolt looked around for Zerrif. She was alone, she didn't know what was going to happen. She didn't know if Carrick was alive or dead. Starbolt just wanted to cry. "Why, why are you so evil?" She asked Blood. Starbolt stilled couldn't conjure up a spell with her magic.

"I'm not evil!" He yelled laughing hysterically "I'm just a fan of chaos. If i was evil i would of killed you. I'm just a little insane is all" He said as he suddenly stopped laughing "You see, i just like to watch the world burn..." He grinned before he started to chuckle a bit more

Quickly, who was now freezing his ashe off in the North Pole, was cursing. "I am not a servant of Ice Star. My name doesn't have Ice in it. It doesn't even have snow. WHY THE TARTARUS WOULD YOU SEND ME HERE!" He began shaking, from cold, not anger. Arctic Operations; In desperate situations, it is appropriate to hunt other animals for warmth and- He clubbed a seal with his hoof, snapping it's spine and killing it, there we have it. Now I need to cut it open... He took out one of his sillver instruments and brutally cut the seal open. He then took all of his stuff of and crawled into the seal. Think of Canterlot, Think of Canterlot, by Celestia, It's already getting cold! He crawled out and shook. Then the shiny cloth of the previously mentioned flightsuit shone out of his bag. "This equipment was especially requested for me to give to you from Celestia..." he heard his Grandmother's voice. Foresight, or future sight? He quickly drew a symbol on the ground; the nighthunter sign of thank you, and put the flightsuit on. It stretched over him, fitting snuggly, but not restricting him. He looked at the seal; Sorry, brother... he thought, I need you're food. Mine'll only last so long. He looked around to see nopony else, and knelt eating. The richness reminded him of the sea's salty taste, plus the filling of grain and a little bit of a sweetness. Rest in peace... he thought, taking to the air. In the distance, he saw a very tall mountain, over a large body of water; he flew towards it.

 

About 3 hours later, he reached the edge of the ice. He walked back a ways, thinking, Second rule, find shelter. If you can't find it; make it. He started digging, patting down the edges to make it hardend to wildlife and other sources of weight. Good night Quickly, he thought to himself, lonely.

(OOC: Oh the disadvantages to being warped... Anyone guess where he's headed? I'm gunna stretch this a bit, he's on the edge of the Arctic. Anyways, give you a hint. W)

Daeva still goes on a search for Starbolt but doesn't reach her because she is summoned back by blaze's phoenix. So fae goes with daeva))

 

Blaze decided now was the time to head to the canterlot castle. Hypno right behind him they approached the grand staircase that lead up to the throne room. The large doors opened and the guards stood to attention as Blaze and Hypno passed.

Blaze gazed out towards the throne and saw her. This was not the first time Blaze had seen Celestia. But no matter how many times he saw her he was always stunned. Her multicolored mane always flowed like a flag in the wind even when there was no wind. Her purple eyes stood out from her white coat.

 

Blaze approached the throne and stopped at the staircase that was right in front of the thrones. Blaze bowed

"My princess" Blaze said

"Young Blaze, your wing is hurt, have you received medical treatment? I also see that you brought a friend. Greetings" Celestia said

 

"I did what I could with what I had, but there are more important matters at hoof. And yes this is Hypno" Blaze said

 

"Ah yes, so you have some information for me"

 

"Indeed I do princess. The one who marenapped the wielders of harmony is none other than the nefarious Ice Star" Blaze said

 

Princess Celestia thought about this for a moment before speaking "I was afraid of that." she closed her eyes and shook her head "Oh Starswirl where did you go wrong?" Celestia said under her breath

 

Blaze heard princess Celestia but he had to make sure his ears were not deceiving him. "Wait, did you say Starswirl... as in The Bearded!?!" Blaze asked frantically

 

"Well you see my child... it is complicated. Most scholars believed that the Whitemane lineage ended with Starswirl. But that is not true... He had a marefriend, but he never married her. Her name was Abigail Frost. There was a very large war going on at that time and Starswirl was one of my generals. Abigail was a first lieutenant in the flying brigade. They met at one point and fell in love. One thing led to another and she became pregnant unbeknownst to her. During one of the raids on a chaos encampment she was shot down. It was thought that she was... killed. But that is not true. She fell into a nearby forest, her wings crippled, she managed to survive. She ended up arriving in a nearby town and lived there for the rest of her life raising her baby who she named Ice Star.

 

Blaze could not believe what he was hearing. So Ice Star is related to the most powerful magi in the history of Equestria. Blaze thought, That could pose a problem.

 

"We have reason to believe he is trying to utilize time/space magic to alter the course of events in history. I studied Starswirl in college, Starswirl founded the paradox principal. Starswirl was the inventor of time/space magic. Do you think that Ice Star is attempting to recreate his father's work?" Blaze asked

 

"It is possible that that is what he is trying to do. Though I wonder if what Ice Star is trying to achieve is even within the realm of possibility. Starswirl created the paradox principle, he knew the limitations to time travel. It sounds like what Ice Star is trying to do breaks that very principle." Celestia said.

"Blood do I need to remind you that she needs to be kept alive for Ice Star's sake? If you end up killing her I will have to warp you to the earth's core" Zerrif said as he approached the two. "I will take her off your hands. She needs to go to the dungeon." Zerrif said sheathing his sword and backhanding starbolt to knock her out before slinging her across his shoulders. He began to walk back to the tower.

Hypno watched the conversation between Blaze and Celestia silently, taking note of everything.

 

"Oh that will be just dandy." Blood grumbled as he watched Zerrif walk away with Starbolt. "I'll be seeing you soon Zeriff. I've decided your little group has crossed me and complicated my own problem too far. You have backtracked me and i may backtrack your plans too." He said with venom in his voice.
