Honestly, Trixie isn't really a bad pony in my opinion. A little arrogant, but not really "bad".

Now Gilda...

Well Trixie and Diamond Tiara are all kind of sort of justified for being bitches. Trixie is just trying to make a living off of MAGIC which about 1/3 of the pony population has. She has to sort of spice it up in order to make her living, and she chooses to show hat she is better than others. Diamond Tiara was probably raised as a spoiled brat who gets everything she wants because her father is so rich. She can hopefully change her attitude completely if someone was to point out how wrong she is and that she could be a much nicer pony.

 

Now Gilda on the other hand...

so many things I could say about Gilda. I will compress it into 5 words: She is a f*****g c**t.

 

I quoted everyone, because you all need to realize something very badly...

 

It's not this, but I wanted to mention,

1. Gilda has serious anger issues. Inside her head, she's just like Fluttershy, and can't control her anger.

I mean, it's kind of obvious, but I don't think it's really obvious that Gilda isn't a jerk at heart. Why I think that, is this:

In the Cutie Mark Chronicles, we saw that RD stands up against bullies, and stands for anypony being picked on. Gilda could not have been an angry bully when RD first met her at flight camp. So something terrible happened in Gilda's life to make her face such anger issues. If she was that way back when RD met her, she would never have been RD's friend, but apparently they weren't just friends, but "gal pals", BFF's.

Okay, this is what I wanted you to realize.

Diamond Tiara is by far the worst without a doubt. Here's why:

 

She:

1. Made Fluttershy Cry more than Gilda ever did

2. She made Pinkie Pie cry, too.

3. Humiliated Rainbow Dash (it even looks like she cried. After the image below, she falls flat onto the floor and isn't seen again for the rest of that scene. Even if she didn't cry, she laid down the whole time at the very least, but only reason a pony would do that would be crying.)

4. Blackmailed the CMC's to keep them doing something that made them feel horrible when they were determined to quit

5. Spread false rumors about ponies (The Cakes were supposedly breaking up, according to one article)

6. Almost as bad as discord - turned friends against eachother, the little fillies, CMC's, even. (I mean, imagine you're Scootaloo, and your idol, RD, rains on you, and Applebloom's older sister she loves won't even talk to her, and she gets reprimanded by Big Mac)

7. Published, most likely a falsified version of Rarity's private diary, calling her a drama queen

8. 'caused Twilight to put a shield around her home and hide

9. Humiliated every character, just as a catch-all for everything else she did to minor and BG characters, too.

 

Really, I could just keep going. But I think you get the idea.

 

I mean, just look!

 

 

I mean, Gilda had anger issues, and she didn't do anything nearly this bad. Diamond Tiara on the other hand, just wanted to be popular. Or rather, to be head of a popular paper.

 

Trixie on the other hoof, she redeemed herself a lot by trying to defeat the Ursa. She does a stage show, overplaying herself is how she makes a living, it's literally her job. And she might have serious self-image issues.

 

Diamond Tiara? She's just rotten to the core. She has rich and nice parents. I doubt she's been through much. She's just plain selfish, to the extreme.

Diamond Tiara, due to her treatment in the show. Childhood bullying leaves far worse scars on a growing psyche, injuries that are much harder to recover from. When an adult is a jerk? It's easy to call them out. When a kid is a jerk? Oh, it's part of growing up(or, in-show, "aren't those your friends?"). The others are bad, but if this weren't a sugar bowl show then I'd worry seriously for Apple Bloom's self-esteem.

 

Bullies suck, so I dislike all of them, but bullies who target children burn me worst.

I think Diamond Tiara has a valid excuse for being how she is: her father is Filthy Rich, and spoils her. At that young of an age, it's the parent's responsibility to correct their behavior. She's just a filly still, so she simply may not know any better yet. She could grow up and be best friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

 

Trixie was annoying. If she's so "great and powerful", why not use her magic for better things? Some say she was mistreated, since it's just an act. However, her behavior offstage with Snips and Snails proved that she was every bit as nasty in real life as on stage.

 

Gilda, on the other hand, made Fluttershy cry. There's no excuse.

I was going to choose Gilda as my least favorite character but people in this thread made me realize that Diamond Tiara far worse than Gilda. Trixie is one of my favorite ponies, so..

Each of these characters are just so relatable! My best friend in puphood was just like Gilda, and this is why I want her back in the show...I don't want to suffer like I have, I miss my friend.

 

Trixie WAS me in highschool, never fit in but had talent, ego, and a lot of pride.

 

And as for Diamond, she is almost every girl who has a rich daddy. I can't hate her for that,I know how its gonna snap down on her rear when adulthood hit.

 

 

These three charactera are very very realistic and do not deserve the 14 year old Dashie fans hate.

Most of the time, DT's just a bully who's only role is to taunt the CMC on how they don't have cutie marks yet, but at least in several episodes we've seen her to be cunningly manipulative.  I like that.

 

Trixie is a loudmouth boaster and speaks far too often in the third person, but I like her too much and she's at least shown she has a little bit of a good heart.

 

Gilda, however... is botched up.  The writers had really baited and switched her character midway through (although she was always rude, but at least her exasperation with Pinkie butting in on her fun with Rainbow Dash was understandable) and if that's to be taken as serious, it means that she has a very unpredictable and ultimately unlikeable character for no good reason.  That's why I rank her lower than the other two.

Trixie is kinda overrated but she's cute, Gilda I don't care about, Diamond Tiara I relate to because I have a bullying personality myself and she's a good reminder of what I can be like at my worst. So none of them are my least favorite. Maybe Gilda if apathy counts.

Seriously, her insults wouldn't offend an already crying baby. The most insulting thing about her insults is that they were insultingly stupid.
