To be honest when I made this thread I meant romantic/sexual attraction.

But after seeing negative reactions and on one post, someone refer to it as bestiality, I got embarrassed and changed it.

You are correct, it's contradictory.

Hey! At least you're thread is still going. I made one with a similar topic to this when I first signed on called "Pony Romance: Why? Who?" but it's all but dead now. Nothing against you! I just got some compliments with how I summed up my theory and it felt good.

one time i cried because the harmony of the mane six's friendship and how they consequently balance each other out is so pristine and could never occur in real life ;(

NEVER occur in real life? Kind of cynical don't you think? I've had a couple of friendships that mirror what happens in the show. Albeit the circumstances surrounding them are much more tragic, but that just makes them all the more poignant.

"Friendship isn't always easy, but there's no doubt it's worth fighting for!"

real life tends not to work that way

This is my Game. And I only allow two things:

Flawless calculations...

and beauty!

All right, I'd like to make something to actually contribute to this thread instead of tearing it down. *deep inhale*

FLUTTERSHY IS MY WAIFU! . . . . Yeah I said it! (I didn't even know what that term meant before this show.) Like I've said on multiple occasions, Lauren Faust created the characters to be role models for the younger audience. Meaning they are adult, if not always mature, women. We, or at least some of us, look past the cartoon ponies they appear as for the people they represent. They are all examples of "types" of women. Twilight is academic and authoritative. Applejack is practical and responsible. Pinkie is spirited and deceptively insightful. Etcetera etcetera.

Fluttershy is appealing to me because of her demure nature. She's pure and unfettered by worldly concerns, drawing joy from caring and giving life. I may not be Rambo, but I'm a soldier and if you look closely my cutie-mark sums up the two things I'm good at. Writing and protection. As much as it may seem demeaning, I have this want, this NEED to protect and care for somebody like her. To be her rock and her shield. I know she can handle herself, but the feeling is there and I've stopped trying to fight it.

I wanna marry a girl like Fluttershy someday! And because I know Lauren didn't pull these archetypes from out of thin air, I KNOW my special somepony is out there somewhere! So to answer your question definitively, YES, yes I'm attracted to ponies! They have given me a road map of what to look for in a real person to fall in love with!

Besides . . . can you really blame me?

So I take it, Steelquill, that you are attracted toward the personalities of the ponies, and that if they were transplanted into human beings, you might cross the gap which otherwise separates a number of bronies from thinking of the ponies as sexual creatures. Am I correct?

Just curious. I'm not passing judgment. In fact, I'd be more or less inclined to agree with you if this is indeed the case.

Most definitely! I am attracted to Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna! If you are afraid of sexual attraction to such ponies, I suggest you avoid artists like JJ and Slugbox... Viewing too much of their art gives you a psychological nightmare of brain bucking.

Joseco and Slugbox didn't need to do anything; Latex Pinkie scrambled my mind quite thoroughly.

YEEEES! :D FINALLY somepony gets it! I really don't understand why that's such a hard concept to understand. Fluttershy isn't anymore real or even human than Tali'Zorrah but no one bats an eye at admitted attraction to the latter. I guess maybe it's in part to being demi-sexual myself.

I don't experience physical attraction conventionally. (Porn does nothing for me, hence my disgust at it. I just see the ugly instead of the beauty.)

However, once I come to know someone and form an emotional connection with them I can't stop thinking about them! So I guess it might be my fault. My brain simply doesn't differentiate between what visibly appears human and what it feels it emotionally "clicks" with. The line between sexual attraction and romantic affection doesn't exist. They're the same thing in my head. Weird huh?

you know you completelyy destroyed my post in here...

those are my thoughts almost exactly, one of the greatest features of the show is that human nature hidding in it.

oh well, at leats I can say that in that regard I would not hesitate in conceaving a relationship with either fluttershy and pinkie.

they are the perfect woman to me

Sorry. I didn't mean to steal your thunder. Though Fluttershy is my number 1, a friend who is a psychology major said a relationship with somepony like Pinkie would be good for me. She would get me to "loosen up" a bit. I'm normally a VERY serious guy. So much so that I often forget to prioritize my own happiness. She says Pinkie would almost be therapeutic.

Your screencap is certainly telling. Personalities CAN compliment each other between friends and romantic partners. I've seen it, I've lived it! My parents met in high school, married after college, and are STILL happily married.

Joseco and Slugbox didn't need to do anything; Latex Pinkie scrambled my mind quite thoroughly.

Well at least I now know I wasn't the only one.

Me: All right what did Twilight say to do again?

*flashback*

Twilight: All right everypony. Here's the plan . . .

Pinkie: These suits are fun! It feels like I'm wearing nothing at all! Nothing at all!

Come on! That's not fair! Make it stop!

I wonder whose idea it was to dress Pinkie up in a form-fitting catsuit. What drove them to make that decision?

If I have to suffer, so do you! (Nah I kid.)

I think they were just trying to play up the "breaking and entering" feel of the scene. (Not that the guards minded apparently. Twi was REALLY off her rocker at that point.)

Dashie in her burglar outfit was cute. Why did Pinkie have to be placed in tight spandex and made exceptionally more suggestive?

I suppose they are messing with us after all.

No, not enough colts. I'm not lesbian so I'm not really attracted to any of the mane 6.

Doesn't mean I don't love them with all my heart.

Hoh I beg to differ m'lady!

We have the Big Mac himself.

Most eligible on this list in my humble opinion, but that's just the opinion of a straight guy.

(Just a friendly jest m'lady. I agree with your post.)

TBH i find Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy and more recently Cloud Chaser and Flitter to be quite attractive. Shame that they're not real.

But they're all cute, that's for sure.

*sigh* It's always the country colts that get the mares.

The science of the pony butt is fractionating really! I look at my own and ask "why are you so good to look at?!"

The male pony anatomy is certainly a lot more bearable than the male human anatomy. Evolution geared us to take pain for our chosen ladies, it geared them to think and run the world.

This is exactly how I feel about the ponies.

Except I prefer Twilight. or Vinyl.
