nice picture^^did you use any third party reender egine or is this the internal blender one ? you should try yafaray for awesome raytracing.

Is that a floating head? ^^ Nah just joking, looks good! Although the ears seem a bit.. too angled backwards, at least for my taste. Perhaps it's just the angle though. Did you try using Radiosity? It makes really smooth renders.

It looks good! looks like the ear is a bit too much into the center, but still pretty nice!

Yeah, the ears were a bit messed up. It was mostly just to practice poly modelling. I was impressed with what I pulled off, so I gave it a background.
