Celldweller Ponified

Something in me wanted to do a pony version of one of my favorite musicians, Celldweller.

So I did.

Here's a picture of Celldweller himself (for comparing):

Here's the first drawing:

And a digital version of it:

(No logo because I suck at writing with a mouse and there are no good fonts.)

So yeah. It was fun.

I like the drawing more than the digital one.

Like how it seems so messy.

Same here actually. I just digitized it for the lulz. :P

oh, Celldweller's stuff is amazing. i hope to stumble upon one of his albums in a second-hand store sometime.

i haven't listened to the final version of Wish Upon a Blackstar. is it any good?

now as for the picture, i find it a bit weird to only see his neck stick up like that. as if he's a giraffe instead of a pony that's standing on the ground, or rather standing with 2 legs on the ground than on all 4. also he's missing his beard-stub and the shading is a bit simple (i'd expect to see some kind of shading if he's standing in front of a gradient background).

other than that there's not much else to say, except he seems to have 2 different expressions in both pictures.

The neck is just the little red part above the shirt. Below it is his shirt thingy. It's all part of how I draw ponies. I should probably improve that but whatever. :P

As for the two expressions, in the second picture, that was what I was trying to show in the first one. It didn't turn out right in the sketch...

And the nonexistence of shading is just my own laziness.
