GrooveBroove 680 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 I'd prefer to go with something unrealisitc. But when I watched Terminator 2 as a kid and he had to melt himself in the lava. I was bawling like a baby, that part just got to me.

Onyx Angel 9 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 Considering I am still young there isn't many things that has happened in my life that have made me upset.(I am not very sensitive). The saddest thing in my life was when my granddad died after having leukemia (Cancer) for 10 years. I thankful he lasted as long as he did but it still brings a tear to my eyes when i see a photo of him.
Sky 746 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 Probably when my grandad died. He was in terrible pain and he was telling me how I should live my life and that he was sorry that he only got to see me 5 times a year. I stood next to him for what felt like hours his final words were "im not ready to go". 1 "Even If I were free, would anyone love me?" Lostwanderer 367 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 There was a video floating around the internet a couple of years ago, it was removed countless times on different websites, but I got "lucky" and saw it. The video showed two guys brutally murdering another guy by torture... I don't want to talk about specific details, but that was the saddest thing that I have ever seen... I don't remember why I watched the video in the first place, it was probably curiosity... But I regret that decision so badly. Even if I remembered the videos name I would not post it's name here, because others might find it, and if someone of you remember the name. Please, don't post it here. I saw that video(i know the name of it too), i've seen most of those types of videos, but that's more creul then sad.Anyway, saddest thing i've seen would probably be, well not actually seen, but some of the stories i heard when i was in a mental hospital a few years back, they were alot sadder then any movie or tv show i've seen. mintfreshAD 55 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 When my younger brother was 2, he was diagnosed with cancer, thankfully, after a year or so of hospitalisation, he pulled through. There were a lot of sad moments while he was in there, up to being told he was going to die. Not might die, was going to. That he survived was nothing short of astronomical odds. But the saddest thing I saw didn't involve him. Technically, I suppose I didn't see it either. It was just the sound from another room, when this couple, who's son had the same type of cancer as my brother, and was only 3 years old, their son died. I've never, ever, heard anything like the wail of pure grief I heard his mother make. It was the most anguished, sorrowful sound I've ever heard. Ten years later, and I can still hear it if I think about it. Also, this is a super depressing topic huh? <__<; If you're happy and you know it you're unusual. But that doesn't mean it's not worth trying~
Guest July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 I didn't directly see it, but I can tell you of the saddest experience I went through last week. I went on a mission trip with a group of other teens, and they were helping with children at different work site. One of the "popular" little girls, who was surrounded by her friends, approached one of our teens. Our teen was working with another little at that moment, one who had just had surgery on her lip. The little popular girl looked up at our teen, and, with teary, insomniac-like eyes, asked the teen if she believed in the devil. A week prior to our aid, the little girl's best friend had been shot -- her friend died protecting her from a drunk gang member. The impact knocked her friend off his feet and into her arms, where he bled out and died. The girl was about six years old. She was pretty, but the only reason everyone was following her was out of care. ... This world's pretty fubar. As if we didn't all already know that, though. PlunderSteed 1,252 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 As far as movies go, I think one of the saddest scenes I've ever watched was in the Karate Kid remake. Specificallly, the scene where Dre found Mr Han destroying the car that he had spent all year restoring, and then Mr Han explains that he does it every year on that day, and why. Twiliscael 3,960 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 Fortunately, not much has really happened in my life to make me particularly sad so pardon my shallow responses. The three saddest things I have experienced is 1) watching my dog die riddled with cancer until one day he ran out into the street and got hit. 2) The end of Toy Story 3 where they all held hands ans accepted their fate. 3) I almost cried several times throughout the course of Mass Effect 3. I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . .

Brook 663 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 Sad songs, just out-right sad songs, that, and other people crying are pretty much the only things that made me cry so far. Exapmle: That's one of the best sad songs ever. Ask me anything!

FlareChaser0096 142 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 (edited) The Land Before Time. I loved dinosaurs, went to watch this dino-cartoon... then Littlefoot's mother died. But that has nothing on most of the other posts. Wow. Edited July 25, 2012 by FlareChaser0096 Love and tolerate, and live by it. No, this is not a Hallmark card. TheEngineer 188 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 (edited) The saddest thing is how anerexic kids get from hunger in places like Africa. It's so sad! I guess i might be more on the sensitive side but i'd like to hear from the tuff guys (and gals) what makes YOU wanna cry? I've seen plenty of really depressing things, and I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it, but near the end of Silent Hill 2 there is an extremely depressing moment. When I watched that moment, it was the first time, in all of my years playing games, that I cried out of sympathy for the main character. Radiance64 7,053 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 I had to sit with my family and watch my grandma die from heart surgery complications about 3 1/2 years ago. I cried my eyes out there and at her funeral. Not too long later my aunt who used to live with her died of cancer. I loved them both so much growing up, and now they're just gone... Quill The Pony. 175 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 (edited) I never cry during movies and hell, I don't cry that much at all. But, and I don't want to start a flame war so if you're a christian, don't read this, but, when people pray to solve problems. It doesn't help. Sorry to say. It will never stop famine or anything else. Sorry if I offended you. Edited July 25, 2012 by Quille The Pony.

Envy 6,162 July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 I think for me, everything related to my grandpa passing away. He didn't have to pass that early. My grandparents were also very close, so seeing my grandma having to lose him like that and seeing her mourn just tore me apart. I can't even type about this without it making me cry... D: Another really sad moment for me was when my childhood dog passed away. I can't say I was close to her most of her life, which makes me very sad. I wasn't a dog person back then, but in her final months I started to get really close to her. She was going through phases there in the end where she would get better, but then get really sick again. The last night she was feeling sick again, and I just thought "Oh, she'll get better by morning". I had a really bad migraine, and didn't give her the attention I should have that night because I assumed she would get better once again. I still remember her looking at me that night, but me not acknowledging her much because I just wasn't feeling well. In the morning, I woke up to the news of her having passed away overnight. Seeing my parents have to drive off with her that morning after she had passed away was just very painful. I had a band concert I had to perform at that night, and I just barely pulled myself together enough to attend it. I literally was crying right up to getting out of the car to the concert. But, and I don't want to start a flame war so if you're a christian, don't read this, but, when people pray to solve problems. It doesn't help. Sorry to say. It will never stop famine or anything else. Sorry if I offended you. Indeed, it doesn't. I put too much faith into thinking it would for far too long... However, I'm not seeing why you brought this up here? Prayers toward helping others are all in good intention, and I understand where they're coming from. Even if they're never going to do any good, I don't see how they are specifically harmful. Unless prayer is the only way somebody is 'helping' somebody who they are responsible for and that needs more help than that. But that's another story. 1 Everything needs more woodwind!
