Trixie is not evil!

I know I made a few mistakes. So bring on the thoughts/criticisms. I am here to once and for all explain the GOOD that is Trixie!!!

Trixie is an antagonist of the show itself, but not inherently evil in any sense. The people that put her in those categories either don't like her or just like to make people upset over it. She's more or less a showboat for her magic. It's necessary for her in this case though since it appears that this is how she makes her bits and lives.

 

I find it a bit sad that she was more or less ran out of town, but it was her fault over false claims that were proven false. No one's gonna pay bits for a falsified magician so she left. I keep hearing that she will make an appearance in S3 so that's something to look forward to, right?

Yea, pretty much everything Hazardous just said covers it. She's not evil. She is obnoxious , though. Besides, Trixie played a very important role in showing us all just how powerful Twilight's magic really is. Which is to Trixie's credit. Evil is definitely an overshot by someone who just doesn't like her or likes upsetting others. Don't sweat it. I'm sure Trixie doesn't mind the haters, you shouldn't either.

Trixie was never evil to begin with. She just acts like a self-centered, conceited bitch that thought she had the right to boss everyone around because she was "BETTER" than everyone else. Which is why people don't like her.

Rainbow dash: Lied about ability to Rainboom to keep dignity, Boasts about being better at everything all the time.

 

Trixie: Lied about beating an Ursa to help her only source of income, Boasts about being better than everypony, Is hottest and best pony.

 

 

In conclusion. Dash is more shallow than Trixie, although this is my opinion and may not be shared by others.

If she does, it's probably going to include her getting into trouble from her magic act or something along those lines. I don't think Twilight in general actually understands how other ponies may need to use their magic in such a way for bits and initially despises it. If the show does come around it's probably gonna have a sorta resolution to this on how Twilight thinks on it.

Thank you very much. I pretty much went on a rant, and I just had to let others know the NON-EVIL that Trixie truly is.

Well, as I explained in the video, I felt that Trixie was being boastful solely to mystify and entertain her audience - all part of the performance.

I have also compared Trixie to Rainbow Dash, and I find this to be a valid argument. There is also the fact that so many ponies lie in this series.

I can agree to this. She probably developed this arrogant behavior through her magic act more than likely. You tend to start believing the lies you speak the more you recant them. I wouldn't doubt she actually believed she could take on an Ursa Major, until it actually came in the end that is. She just needs some type of wake up call or something to help her arrogance out. I don't think she'll stop showboating but her bad behavior could be helped.

She's not evil, all she did was make Rarity's hair more organic. Except for claiming false accomplishments and nearly threatened an attack by an ursa minor. I think the only thing evil about Trixie is her devilishly cool character design and accent.

I agree, Trixie is not evil, but I do think she is a very arrogant and annoying character. She is fitting for the episode of course, but she is not someone I would enjoy being around.

Threatened an attack by an Ursa Minor? How did she threaten the attack, by trying to defeat it herself after Snips and Snails brought it to Ponyville? I do not feel Trixie's involvement with the Ursa Minor should be considered in any way "bad behavior".

I was meaning to say that she claimed to have defeated an Ursa major. And when Snips and Snails ran into an Ursa Minor they believed Trixie could defeat it. She lied of course, but what I mean is that by lying, she nearly brought harm to Ponyville by accident. Know what I'm saying? I mean she isn't evil since the worst thing she did was lie.

In my opinion, Trixie is a solid antagonist, but the most interesting thing about her is how her character could be fleshed out if she was given more screen time. At the risk of offending a lot of people, I think a more developed Trixie would be a more deep and interesting character than Fluttershy, although Trixie is a bit similar to Dash.

Trixie could actually be a much more developed character than Fluttershy. There is so much character behind the hat and cape that it would be amazing if there is not a Trixie-centered episode in coming seasons of the series.
