writing Want to know why I fight so hard?

(Wrote this at 12:13 PM after a night of no sleep. God, mistakes aplenty.)

 

Do you want to know why I fight so hard,

ready to put my life on the line?

 

Willing to fight for anything,

willing to let people hate my guts?

 

The reason is quite simple,

yet it is close to my heart.

 

I fight anti-cloppers for one reason,

and one reason alone.

 

I fight for the feelings of my friends,

I fight for those who are afraid to speak.

 

So many people spread their words of hate and anger,

anger directed towards many people here.

 

And in their fear of being hated,

they stay quiet.

 

They stay quiet,

fearful of the people we call friends.

 

They come to me for comfort,

come for me to help.

 

And in return,

I fight for those who are silent.

 

I am ready to make sure that the hate is stopped,

even by a small bit.

 

For my friends mean everything to me,

and their pain is my own.

 

As long as there are people who spread their hate,

I will fight for my friends.

 

No matter what,

I will fight hard for them.

 

Because no one here is disgusting,

we are all family.

 

Even if someone tries to tell you that you are different,

it doesn't mean you are.

 

You all have a friend who is there for you,

who is ready to fight.

 

I may not be the best friend,

but I will try my best to keep my friends happy.

 

So my friends,

you can stay behind me as I fight.

 

I am ready to accept all the hate,

I am ready to take the beating.

 

The hate will cease one day,

the hate will soon be gone.

 

We will go back to happiness,

we will go back to joy.

 

One day I hope,

I hope is very soon.

Nice free verse, it keeps itself within its own limits and communicates the message quite clearly. A bit of a clean up and it could be even better.
