I went to a model building fair yesterday with my BF, it was pretty huge. Lots of car models, gundams, trains. 

And there. in a forgotten corner of it all I found this stand full of Funko toys! 

 

My mind went blank and I got these.

 

With the exception of Pinkie Pie (sadly) cuz they didn't have it.

I decided to walk down to k-mart to see what pony stuff they had down there (Which was not that much). After I traveled down the never ending pathway of the pink isle I found something pretty cool.

Got the newest comics, and a couple bling bags. I like how issue 11's cover is a huge send-up to the 80s, and how Celestia on the other cover is wearing little charms of all the Elements of Harmony:

I'm so very envious :< It's really expensive to get those comics in Europe (and given the italian customs I'm not even sure I would get them). The covers look so gorgeous.

The whole things are that way, the artwork is beautiful and it's all printed in high-end graphic novel quality on fairly heavy semi-glossy paper, and they're luckily only $3.99 here.

awww no fair! I want that cover for #11 in physical! ... And ANY of the micro's in physical for that matter.. Only places around me that even have the comics TMK is Hottopic and some small anime shop. But the Anime shop has FEW and usually older ones, and hottopic didn't get that cover.

I first saw the 80's throwback one on the iBooks version though and I flipping want it its hilarious.

 The copy I ended up with though was a Romeo and Juliet knock off cover.. Nice, but not as awesome.

Used to only get the digital ones, but after having held and read one of the physical copies I'm hooked on finding them. They are amazingly well done, and look beautiful. Unlike most comics that just come off as extremely cheap...

 

That issue is HILARIOUS though.. never would've thought Shining to be that way tbh, but sure, whatever

I'm lucky and my shop has a free subscription service where they order and hold back what ever books you want when a new issue of them comes in, so you always have the latest ones ready.

 

But yeah, the two 80s throwback covers are the best. I like the way they realized that Shining could've been in High-School in the 80s and ran with it((although, if were doing serious number crunching that could make him pretty damn old unless Equestria is still in the late 90s)
