I need some advice on a tattoo I might be getting soon

In my opinion I don’t think it’s a bad idea, as long as it has some sentimental value, which it seems that tattoo would. Perhaps one day your love for ponies will pass but the tattoo will mark a time in your life and who you were at one point and it meant a lot to you. In my mind nothing about that is regrettable. If you’re asking me I’d say go ahead and get it.

Tattoo's feel like a rubbed sunburn...but after a while you stop feeling it. The part that bugged me the most was the bone rattling depending on where you get it. Sometimes you end up feeling warm and flushed but it really isn't bad...you have to take really good care of it afterwards.

With that said...it is your body...but as an owner of three tattoos I must say you have got to think long and hard about what you put on you. I know people say it over and over...but permanence is the word here. If you know that 40 years from that you wouldn't be ashamed of that pony on your arm...great...but I am telling you, you have to be absolutely sure it isn't a passing fad

The three items I have are constant reminders to me oh how I want to live...always so I am comfortable with them

Consider that you will have it for the rest of your life. If you decide one day that you don't like the show anymore, then you're stuck with either an unwanted tattoo or an extremely painful and often ineffective removal procedure. I'd advise against it, but at the end of the day it is up to you.

I'm not sure of the morality of mlp tattoo (if you'll regret it or not) that's entirely for you to decide. But if you do, I would highly advise your chest or upper arm, but deffinately NOT your calf. Calf tattoos seldom ever look as good as planned. Just my two bits, for what it's worth.

I have a cutie mark tatt on my calf, Pinkie Pie's.. I was gonna get Pinkie Pie, but after careful consideration, I figured if I lost interest in ponies, it'll just be balloons. My calf one will have to be touched up a few times to achieve the desired effect and it hurt like a mother f@#$er!!!

One piece of advice: Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good.

Posted Image here it is. It cost $110.00 but I'm happy with it and stuff. It's on my left calf and although the pain sucked worse than the tattoo on the inside of my upper arm, it was worth it.

This is my signature. UDig?
