moneyshredderofdeath 414 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 It all depends on what you mean with immaturity. I don't mind immaturity in the sense of lightheartedness, yet I can't stand immaturity when it's in the sense of disrespect. Either way I'd consider myself a mix of maturity with the first type of immaturity I mentioned.

RockinRarity 1,605 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 I voted in favor of maturity all 3 times because when I think of "immature," I think of someone who whines and cries when they don't get their way, or are lazing about doing nothing useful when they're supposed to be helping out with something, when people don't have any work ethic, and when they're so selfish that all they can think about is me, me, me. All of that bothers me when they're over the age of 13. That being said, appropriate amounts of childish behavior do make life much more fun. But, to me, that doesn't necessarily equate to "immature." I think that immaturity to be childish at the wrong times. There's a time and a place for childishness and fun. A mature person will know what that time and place is. 2 Follow my blog! ~The Mind of Sally - Experiences, Opinions, Musings~
Modphase 1,271 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 I've been refined in the hot fires of a forum I refuse to mention, where if I made one tiny immature post people would either call me a little kid or the admins would be very mean to me So yeah, thanks other forum for which I refuse to mention, for giving me social anxiety. So now I guess you could say I'm well beyond my years as maturity goes, but only for the fact that I'm deathly afraid of what people think of me. But oh, not in the forums, and around my friends I see in person, that's a whole different story.

thegoodhen 698 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 I actually act quite mature, as long as I'm not around people who are immature and yet they think they are super mature. Then I'll get all Pinkie Pieish for some reason.

PlunderSteed 1,252 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 I'm completely mature. I've never behaved immaturely in my life. Only idiots and morons do that. That's why all my usernames and profile pages are always highly sophisticated and void of humor and silliness. I couldn't have said this better myself. But I'll try: Why did you click this? ~SadisticFluttershy~ 779 August 14, 2012 Share August 14, 2012 Well, My friends look at me as Mature cause of the 2 different worlds of Internet and World that we live in. Online games= Mature Real life= Mature Sometimes Immature when I get excited and tell jokes and use certain words. My Honesty on Immature people.. well it's not like i hate them or anything, its just the certain kinds of immaturity. For Little kids, its fine with me because well there kids, what can ya do right? (: I like to see Maturity out of Teenagers such as myself. But what i hate is immaturity out of Teenagers, But i can't blame them, cause everyone is different and i just accept it.. but other times, it just gets on my nerves and makes me wanna scream(Like Fluttershy, so no one hears me.) Other then that, i can live with both. Not a big deal Thanks MiniKirby! It's soooooo awesome! "Enough Chitchat time is candy!".- Pinkie Pie. "Storm Chasing is a commitment. FlareChaser0096 142 August 15, 2012 Share August 15, 2012 It all depends on who I'm around- with my friends I get very immature and crazy. Around adults I'm poised and regal. Although I've been told by even my friends that I'm too mature for my own good. Love and tolerate, and live by it. No, this is not a Hallmark card. I'm just incredibly sappy. ^o^ The best revenge is happiness.

~Chaos~ 3,967 August 15, 2012 Share August 15, 2012 There is a delicate balance of the two, on one hand there are times for immaturity (i love it) and on the other there are times for maturity, it's just a matter of knowing the situation and what it calls for. notdog1996 315 August 16, 2012 Share August 16, 2012 I consider myself mature. I won't go around, make stupid jokes, take drug, miss school for ''Lulz'' or anything like that. That's what I consider immature. Now a like persons who act silly without being over the top. Someone who says random stuff out of nowhere. Anyway, when someone says that I'm immature (If that ever happened), I consider it as an insult. I know how to have fun too, simply my kind of fun is probably not the one everyone has. Dr_Waveband 745 August 16, 2012 Share August 16, 2012 (edited) I find myself constantly irritated by immature people. I suppose I've always been more mature than my peers (or at least grumpier and more cynical, not that that's a sign of maturity). I don't hate sillyness and having fun, quite the contrary. I just appreciate people who are thoughtful and self-controlled instead of loud and inconsiderate. But those are superficial qualities, really. True maturity is being able to respect others' rights and to consider the consequences of your actions. That's what I can respect. Edit: and then I realize how well my signature goes with the tone of this post. Amelia Monocle 112 August 16, 2012 Share August 16, 2012 i'm both i consider myself immature, but i act mature ... too, so i have no idea... talking of whether or not i like mature people, they haven't done much to prove their likeableness to me, i have met some really nice people who come to think of it, are actually quite mature. but then there are people at my school who boss me around and call themselves mature when in actual fact, they are just ... you know what? i have no idea what they are, why they do/did it, and they take such pleasure in it, but people who have walked all over me are the same people who have rid me of my confidence.... i think i may have gotten a bit off-topic...
