"I'll take note of that Relampago. I'll see if the other ponies have different styles of this." She replied to his offer. 'Not having magic all the time is difficult.' She thought to herself.

Octavinyl finally woke up in the shelter. As she got herself up, she heard other ponies outside conversing about combat. She just ignored what they were saying and stared at the window, wondering what to do next. Well maybe I can do safer things like gathering food or gathering materials. She thought to herself.

Relámpago nodded, he wasn't sure if he would be a good teacher, but he'd at least try to help Starbolt if she wanted. However if his services were needed elsewhere, than fine. He looked around to see Octavinyl moving around slightly. He got up and went to the shelter. "Hey," He said softly, "how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling much better, thank you." Octavinyl said as she turned to him and gave him a smile. "So what about everypony else? I mean how are things going around here?" She asked, feeling eager to know the current status of the area. "Nothing bad has happened to anypony right?"

Fire Opal let out a low whistle, fully awake now as he listened to the other ponies. "I would say being stuck in the Everfree Forest with no possible way out, at least yet, counts as a bad thing," he said, looking up at the giant purple dome. "That thing is a living hell, I tell you, and when the opportunity arises, I'm gonna get out of here and try to find a way to destroy it. But for now..."

"Things have been pretty calm, there hasn't been any attacks of wolves or nothing." Relámpago said as he smiled back at her. He wonder if the sleep helped her calm down. He tried to remember that unicorn's name, "Uh, I think her name was....Starbolt. She wants to learn to defense herself, but other than that. Just another day in exile." He said.

Starbolt walked through the camp. She was wondering whose offer she should take.

Fae decided to scout deeper into the forest. She flew deeper and she heard it. Several wolves, most probably timberwolves. She knew her spell wont keep them all away. 'Starbolt, there are wolves coming to the camp. I think the one you chased off got the pack to come.' She messaged Starbolt frantically.

Starbolt heard the what Fae reported and ran straight to Scout. "Scout, Fae saw a pack of timberwolves approaching. What do we do?" She asked him panicked.

"Okay, first, you calm down. Second, you tell Relampago what you just told me, plus the number of wolves, the size of the wolves, and then I want you too find the tallest tree you can find and climb to the top. Got it?"

Fire Opal finally stood up and headed into the small clearing, if that was what he could call it. He looked around, taking in everything he saw. He slowly turned his head, sights finally settling on Scout and Starbolt, who were apparently having a heated conversation. He shrugged it off and turned toward away, heading away from the group a few meters, looking for a stream or anything else that held water.

Fae tried to follow the wolves. It was clear they were headed to the camp. She couldn't find the exact amount they were but they were a lot. 'Starbolt, I am certain they are heading for our camp.' She reported.

Fire Opal looked back alarm as he heard galloping hooves, the hooves which belonged to Starbolt, who was now going full speed toward Relampago. 'This must be serious', he thought, returning to the group to hear what she had to say.

Relámpago attention was back towards, Starbolt as she started to galloped her way back to the group. He didn't realize that she left, whatever this was. It must be something serious. "One second," He told Octavinyl as he went to Starbolt. "Hey, what's going on?"

Fire Opal stopped alongside Relampago, the same question running through his mind. What is going on? He suspected an enemy or news about the princess, but he could never be sure. He absently shifted from hoof to hoof, anxiety building inside of him.

"Fae spotted a group of timberwolves coming to our camp, from what she told me they were a lot. What do we do." She asked the two ponies. "I can cast maybe one or two spells but after that....." Her voice trailed off.

Octavinyl heard a lot of commotion coming from outside of the shelter, "Hey what's going on out there? Is something bad going to happen?!" Octavinyl asked from with the shelter. A concerning look went over her face as she wondered what was happening outside.

"I can perform one powerful spell, but I'll need to rest afterwords. I could also perform a small one, which would scare them, but not a lot." Starbolt had already passed out once, and it could be dangerous for it to happen again. He would have enough energy left to remain walking and healthy, but there would be no energy left to perform another spell until he was fit enough to do so.

Those wolves again, damn. I guess we'll have to deal with them now. Relámpago had to think about it. "Usaf, Trench, Daeva. You're with me. Starbolt, place defense and guard....ummm. Damn it! I never asked your name." He pointed at Octavinyl. He looked at Fire Opal, "You stayed behind us. I don't know if we need the magic, but if we're in danger. Use it."

 

(this paragraph might be edited.) He looked at Misty. Though she does have some good survival skills, he wasn't sure if she had the strength to fight off any wolves. He had to think fast, he started to hear the sounds of paws. "Misty...if you can handle it stay up front. Otherwise, if not. Stay with Starbolt."

"Is it those terrible timberwolves again?!" Octavinyl asked as she whimpered in fear and hid behind an object. Memories of getting bitten and the nightmares were all coming back and were racing through her head. "N-No! I don't want to get bitten again!" said to nopony in particular as she just got herself into the corner of the shelter and just panicked. Tears ran down her cheeks as she was hyperventilating and going absolutely paranoid.

Oh damn, she's have trauma right now? "Listen....you. You'll be fine, I give you my word that they won't touch a single strand of fur on your coat." Relámpago did his best to tried to comfort her, but the wolves were coming. There wasn't much time for some long speech that he had no time to think of it and relay to her. "I weigh twice as mucha as you dumbass!" Ronald cried as he rammed his shoulder into the guard with unrelenting force.

Jack pulled a knife from a leather pouch on his belt. "I'll handle this," he said as he approached the door.

 

"Yeah, good call," Harold said with obvious sarcasm, "You can fight off Celestia with that switchblade."

 

Jack ignored Harold's comments and stuck his knife into the crack between the two doors. He turned it like a lever and there was a daint clicking sound. "Easy enough," he said as he put the knife back into his belt. He then pushed the door open with little effort.

Starbolt followed Scout's advice and went up a tree. She is still perfectly capable of casting magic from up there.

Fae continued to trail behind the pack of timberwolves. They approached the camp.....

Scout hadn't recieved any orders, so he climbed a tree and waited to see what the best thing to do was. It depends on how many and how big. Apparently, there's a lot of them, which means their probably not that big, unless the pack leader's there. In which case, there is going to be one very large one and the others will be comparitvely small. Take out the big one and the small ones might scatter. Worth a shot.

Once again, Trench was the last one to learn about the developing event. he fell out of his hammock and cried, "Wait, what's all this about wolves?" He dusted himself off and continued, "I'm really not in the mood for this! Can't they rescedule or something?" He ran to Relámpago outside of Octavinyl's shelter. "I heard something about wolves," He stated, "What wolves, where?"

Misty had been awake during most of the panic. She had just stared on in horror. When Relámpago asked if she could fight, she gave him a blank stare. She wasn't very strong, but she was quite agile. She nodded, though only with half certainty. At the very least she could buck the wolves in their heads while dodging them. If that didn't work, she'd probably end up dead. Which, considering the situation they were all in, didn't bother her too much. Right now, she just wanted to do her part. She quickly walked to where the others stood and ready herself for battle.
