Relámpago thought about it, only blanks were going through his head. "I'm don't think she fell from the sky. You usually don't get cuts from falling down. More broken bones than anything. However, I'm no detective, so unless we know what it is. There's no used getting all worried up over it. Let's just wait for her to get up and hopefully we can find out what happened to this mare." He didn't want Daeva to worry to much about this monster. Unless we go out into the forest, there is no knowing what would happened.

 

Misty suggested that they build some sort of fort to protect them, "Well, it sounds like a good idea." some sort of fort would be able to protect the group. As well, as create some sort of shelter. Something that would useful in this situation.

Daeva didn't quite like Misty's idea about building a small fortress, it would be a lot more better to build shelter on high ground. There were more advantages than disadvantages compared to building a fort.

 

"You can help Misty build her stupid fort, even my saddlebag would know that's not a good idea." She said as she stormed off and took all the planks to the huge tree she wanted to build it on.

Misty bit back an insult as she watched Daeva storm off. This mare was beginning to get on her nerves. First, she blatantly refused an offering of food. Then, she called her idea stupid. Instead of the sadness she had felt before, Misty felt rage. "Well you're still going to help me, right? I think we should get the others to help as well." she said with a strained effort to keep her speech even and untainted by her fury, directing her attention to Relámpago. She realized that her and Daeva might become enemies if things stayed the way they were going. The idea did sound fun, but any problems could cause ripples in the group. She just hoped that it would be okay, and nothing else would set her off.

She has built houses for the poor before so she was slightly experience on building, though she has never built a treehouse before.

 

"Hmmm, it shouldn't be much of a difference right?" She said to herself as she started to build the basic frame of the house.

 

As she was building she thought back on what she said to Misty.

 

"Maybe it sounded too rough.." she thought as she tried to push it away an continue building.

Relámpago scratched his neck. He seemed to be caught in a quarrel of two mares. It was pretty disrespectful that Daeva said such a thing, even if the idea was stupid as she apparently thought so. He went and tried to defused the situation, as the group shouldn't start being strained now. "I'll help you, just let me talk to Daeva first. Wasn't exactly the nicest thing she said to you, regardless of her opinion on what we thought." The luchador went off, as he went to fix the situation.

 

He saw the big tree as the frame had already been established. It'd be a problem for any other pony who wasn't a peagsus. However, Relámpago wasn't a ordinary earth pony. He took a few steps back and then took a big leap into the air, he landed on one of the top branches, close to the frame and to Daeva. "You know, that wasn't nice at all." Relámpago stated.

"Yeah.. I know.. I was planning on saying sorry sooner or later, maybe after I finish off the house or until she shows up." She said as she continued placing the planks for the rooftop.

 

"I can't wait to finish it! Give me a visit every once in a while if you want." as she gave Relampago a wink.

Misty sighed. Her idea was just something that seemed like it would be useful. But, she realized the implications of a fort and how it might not be worth the effort. "Hmph, whatever. I'll just go with whatever somepony else's ideas might be. Again..." she muttered under her breath. She still kept talking to herself, and she found it was becoming a problem. The last thing she would want was somepony thinking she was crazy. That was something she was not, despite whatever was wrong with her. She watched as Relámpago leaped into a tree. Cocking her head, she saw that some sort of frame was being built. She held back her curiosity and waited for the luchador to return.

Relámpago returned Daeva's wink with a smile, "But of course, it would be my honor to come visit your manor, Daeva." Relámpago pushed his back hoof backwards and performed a back flip. He landed safely, but stumbled slightly. It was quite a while since he'd jumped that high up. The luchador went back to Misty.

 

"Everything will be fine, she realized that she was a bit harsh with her words." Relámpago changed the subject, "Do you want to start on the fort?"

Misty almost smirked. But doing so would just show her cockiness. Instead, she smiled. "Well alright. I think we should get the others to help. This fortification should be used to house all of us. Plus, that injured mare would do better inside a shelter than out here, exposed to the elements." Her reasoning was quite sound. By now, she realized that Daeva was building some sort of tree house. Didn't she say something about building one earlier? No matter. A ground fortification, although a little more capable of being over taken, could be better defended than a tree based one. Or, at least that was how Misty saw it. "Fire Opal seems like he knows a lot about shelter building, so we should approach him first."

Daeva expected the worse such as natural disasters and terrible weathers like lightning storms.

 

"I'll barricade the windows once I'm done." she told herself.

 

She also had the same habit that Misty had, she kept on talking to herself whenever she's alone.

 

She ignored it and continued building the floor and adding some support below it to avoid it falling.

"Alright, if you say so. Misty." Relámpago listen to her, she seemed to be more knowledgeable about this sort of situation. He would just be the handyman, not the engineer. He went over to Fire Opal, "Hey, I was wondering if you would like to help us make a fort." He gave a smile to him.

As the others were still trying to find other ponies to help them she was already done with the floor.

 

"Whew, what a day.. I'll finish off the walls later." She told herself yet again as she picked up her saddlebag at the bottom of the tree and tossed it into the treehouse.

 

"I need some simple furniture once I'm done here, but for now I'll take a test.." she said as she swept off her sweat with her hooves and took her bottle of water out and took a sip.

Starbolt was in deep thought thinking on how to strengthen her magic under this place, she didn't notice Relampago ask her about the berries. She threw the berries away but kept one in her saddlebag so she could see what it looked like in the future. She decided to walk into the forest for a quick stroll. She was a few meters away from the clearing, she heard a low growling sound. Starbolt looked around and saw nothing, but she was sure she felt something watching her.

 

Fae was picking berries in the camp to replace the poisoned ones that they threw away.

As she took another sip from her bottle she heard some growling from far far away, her ears were very sensitive and she could hear things from far far away.

 

"That doesn't sound like one of the other ponies.." she whispered to herself.

Fire Opal shook his head as he sat against one of the walls he had built. All they needed to do is make sure everypony had a roof to sleep under and walls to hide in, though he wasn't sure from what, and they would be fine. Who would attack them anyway?

Starbolt slowly walked backwards to the clearing, she saw movement. One of the branches moved, then it jumped out in front of her. A canine shaped creature that looked as if it was made out of wood. It's claws looked sharp and it had blood dripping from it's mouth. The creature growled louder and then jumped at her. Starbolt fired a magical beam at it. The creature was thrown to the side but got up almost immediately. Starbolt knew she couldn't out run it, she readied her next spell a fireball, she cast it but only sparks came out of her horn. Starbolt realized that her magic was already exhausted. She had nothing to defend herself with. The creature growled loudly and prepared to attack her....

He heard the growl, loud and clear. He stood up and rushed out of his make-shift home and saw it, a variation of a dog made of wood and with huge claws, apparently with a taste for ponies. He quickly looked around, looking for some type of form of fire, but found none. "Eveypony come here, we need help! And before anypony asks, bring along anything you see with fire on it!"

Usaf hearing the cry for help light a small stick with the flint and steel and took to the air. Hearing the growls he flew off to see what it was. there was a wolf ready to attack one of the new comers. Ok canine, good sight,good hearing,good smell, He's predator so he is locked on the target, best course of action attack from above and break the spine.

 

Usaf dropped from the sky and landed on the back of the wolf not hard enough to break it but there pus a pop so there must be a few dislocated vertebra. then with a wimper the wolf ran off in to the shadows.

"Thanks, now I can keep my remaining magic for some other tome, for now we can keep that as a torch." Turning to Starbolt, who's expression couldn't be read at the moment, he continued, "Are you okay?"

(OOC Usaf is a pegasus right? Also Starbolt left to take a walk in the clearing, she wasn't near Octavinyl.)

Starbolt watched the creature run off away from them, she turned to the pegasus that helped her. "Thanks, I don't know how I would of survived that if you didn't stop it." She said to Usaf. "My magic, I couldn't cast anything, it's the barrier isn't it?" She asked him.

There were howling and other noises as if somepony was getting attacked by some kind of animal.

 

"I wonder what that was.." she said to herself as she tried to look through the trees to see what was happening.

 

"Maybe it was just my imagination!" she told herself as she laid down and started napping.

Octavinyl's wounds have been patched up easing the pain on her and giving her more positive dreams. It looked like she was waking up on a hospital bed as the light started to shine through the window. She looked towards the light beaming from the other side of the window. She was glad that it seemed like she survived the timberwolf attack, but of course she was still stuck inside the dome.

 

Her right hoof moved slightly.

That's what we need it for, Relámpago thought as they both ran after the wolf and saved Starbolt. He would of helped her, but Usaf seemed to have taken care of it. They all started to have a conversation while Relámpago waited for Fire Opal to come back, as he lean on the tree. He saw the wolf, he wonder if those were the ones that hurt this mare. Makes sens-

 

A movement, he saw a right hoof move from the mare. Something he didn't see at all when he bandages her wounds. He got close to her, to see if saw alright as her eyes were opened to see the barrier in all of it's glory. "Hey, you okay?" Relámpago said, softly.

Octavinyl moved her head slightly and faced towards the ponies. Her eyes opened slowly, staring at all the ponies she asked in a quiet voice, "W-What happened?"

She just kept staring at all of them and just stayed silent. She still felt lightheaded after the large amount of blood loss.
