Maybe not a forager specifically, but this has given me a great idea for her potential job! Whatever it is, I think it should take her into places like the Everfree Forest to do... Well, something, but she'll be going into natural, possibly dangerous areas like that for whatever she does!

I wasn't saying foraging was a bad idea, I just wanted to consider other options she could have in the Everfree Forest before making a decision. Right now, my favourite options are hunting in the Everfree Forest and foraging in the Everfree Forest. Hunting sounds a bit violent for an MLP-themed OC, so I'm leaning towards forager at the moment.

For some reason, I always thought forage meant 'look for berries', but upon looking it up in a dictionary it just means search for food in general. Which makes it an even more appropriate idea, since Ebony would definitely want to search for fruits instead of berries. Not that she won't pick up some berries and other things too. She could sell the non-fruit stuff she finds.

That could work, but I want to avoid giving my OCs ties to canon characters. That can cause some problems.

I know, I do that, usually I just say "a quick google check" instead of "looking up in a dictionary" but now I'm just being annoying and picky at this point.

I just noticed, her green colour is all the more fitting, since green is considered the colour of nature and Ebony's job is to find food from nature.

 

I don't really have any ideas either. But I think we've done well today to get the OC to this stage. Let's take a break from talking about her for now.
