It's a hit or miss when it comes to movie reboots from any franchise, but usually the more CGI a reboot has compared to the original the more the rebooted movie will probably suck.

The problem is Toby Maguire is going to haunt me and the rest of those Spider-man movies where they change Spider-man for the sake of diversity and feminism

A recent casualty of the forced diversity and feminism into movies was the recent film A wrinkle in time, which was a wonderful book, but the director just took the book and said "Fuck it, lets make all the major characters black for no reason!" even though the book LITERALLY describes the characters in detail as being red-headed, nope we have to make the main character in the movie black because diversity!  

 I hate it when Hollywood does that and ruins a great book with an awful movie..................

I will agree with you. With all the stuff coming out, im heavilly concerned that big hollywood is now just recycling old ideas. (Slenderman movie, lovely.)
