I don't know if it is a thing or not, hence "could be a thing"

I know roast pork salad sandwiches are a thing, because I have bought them before. That doesn't mean you can get an actual roast pork salad (although of course nothing is stopping you making one)

In fact, I am tempted to go get a mixed leaf salad from lidl now, and chop roast pork into it

Well, not much different from ham salad; key is to remember you just need a little to add flavour, not so much you struggle to find the salad

bits of crispy bacon go well in a salad too - lot of stores sell precooked crispy bacon specifically for salads

Me too, sadly - but its a national holiday here in the UK, and I was unable to get any. got a ham and cheese sammich...

Well, I enjoyed it. The ham was a bit mild (its just shoulder ham, from a supermarket, that I bought for omlettes) so I went with a nice gouda rather than something stronger; I would normally hand-cut from a gammon, and then a sharp cheddar would have went well, but it would have overpowered this stuff.

Less work than most "ready meals" I have.

Although normal shopping hours today (well normal for Covid world) so managed to get some salad, some roast beef, and some smoked chicken. Roast beef salad is my plan for a little later (with grated extra-mature cheddar too)
