Do you think season three will involve more "unknown" characters?

Alright, as we all know (well, some of us), the first 2 seasons of My Little Pony had a LOT of characters that were unknown. I'm just going to list a few before I move on:

 

Shining Armour:

 

 

 

 

 

Zecora (I put her here because of how she was in hardly any of the episodes):

 

 

 

 

And, Queen Chrystalis:

 

 

 

I think these ponies/freaks of nature/zebras (along with a few more) were hardly involved in the show, even though 2 above were special episodes. I think they shouldn't just show them for one, but bring them back in season three as a normal episode enemy, and feature Zecora a little bit more.

I believe there will be a lot of new, original characters in Season 3. Shining Armor will definitely be in Season 3, considering the fact that Princess Cadance was mentioned in The Crystal Fair song. I'm not too sure about Zecora or Queen Chrysalis, although it would be nice to see them return.

Well, it's that way with alot of TV shows. Villians/good characters appear in only one episode. But I'm pretty sure (season 3 spoiler)

that Trixie, Shining Armor, and maybe Discord are returning in S3.

Of course there will be a lot of new characters introduced in the season 3! In season two itself, more than a half of those episodes introduced somepony new for the sake of the story. And looking from the spoiler image from EQD, there will be lots of new ponies, with those new land and all

is definitely making a return. You saw those leaked pictures I think. She had that necklace (possible element of disharmony). So it's pretty awesome to see her again.

Of course, I mean you have the whole crystal ponies area coming up -- You will not only have the crystal ponies themselves -- but anypony who would have ties to them, would trade with them, etc.

 

Plus they will likely add other background ponies into the mix.

 

Think of it this way -- if they didnt add any new ponies, what toys would they sell?

Obviously there will be more "unknown" characters. We have an entire Crystal Empire to explore! We'll obviously see more of Zecora too, and hopefully she'll be in more than just one episode Personally, I would love it if Feathermay made an appearance. I love her design:

Unknown Characters making an appearance? Hell yes! I mean like... why not? Ofcourse they should and will add more original characters. Thats what makes some episodes awesome. It owuld be great to see more original characters. Mainly antagonists. But as we all know, many other characters from previous seasons are making a return too.

I don't know about that. I feel that one of the reasons FiM is so good is that it doesn't have a constantly reoccurring villain.

 

I don't know about you guys, but I don't think Chrysalis or Discord would be quite as awesome if they showed up in every other episode, and constantly got thwarted by the mane six. It would just become repetitive and boring, and is altogether unnecessary.

 

Edit: However, I'd love to see Zecora on a more regular basis, even if just as a background character.

Not to disregard your point, but I dont want them to show up again and again, just another appearance, mainly chrysalis.

Besides, when she was banished to the everfree forest, they could make an episode about how she escapes or whatever.
