Things are moving along quite speedily, I don't want it to take too long for the murder to happen but I don't want it to be rushed either as it's such a crucial part of the story. I think there should be more then just the pony who was the murderer who gets involved in the story possibly unrelated as to add more to the RP and give my character something else to investigate.

Even though this isn't against the rules, I'd recommend you keep the majority of OOC talk in the OOC thread. And since nobody in this RP has spoken in OOC in the RP thread just yet, it really breaks the flow noticeably. This was long enough to get above the character limit, so keep that in mind next time.

 

Also, there you guys go. I've addressed both of the newcomers and simultaneously thrust Bones into another awkward situation. Success!

Trust me, I'm in the dark as much as you are at the moment. Scoots hasn't told me anything about any murder as that would spoil the RP. I was just giving my thoughts on the matter. The way I see it, when he's ready to write the death scene he can talk with any one of you including Arylett except for me because if I knew anything that he was planning it would ruin it as my role in the RP is to find it out for myself. Hey guys, um, just a heads up... I'm not gonna be able to use my laptop for the next few days (Monday through Wednesday) so yeah... There's been a bit of nonsense going on lately that has taken my attention away from RPs for a bit. I have been looking forward to responding to your character, but haven't been in the right state of mind to come up with a decent post, really. Be glad I managed that last one, cause I really wasn't in the mood to type that at all.

Myself being only a very inexperienced RP player… Let's just say that I'm a little bit, well… This RP really depended quite heavily on the involvement of the hostess. The hostess is now, well… Gone…

 

I don't think that I am quite able to make this work without her… Darn it…

 

I'm thinking about creating a new mystery RP. One that is not so heavily dependent on the involvement of a single key character and is much easier to work with. I am a newbie after all, and this was the 1st RP that I created… I hadn't quite factored in the risk of someone leaving.

 

If y'all will be patient with me… I will have something built together this weekend.

 

If y'all want to give this another chance, then you are all automatically accepted. , including you (though I know that you are still working on your character at the moment).

 

So yeah… To summarize:

• This RP has been killed.
• I will rebuild another one.
• The new RP will be much more faster paced and easier going.

Most of you guys are more experienced RP players than me. What do y'all think?? Is it worth giving this another try? There is no way that I can continue this one… So it's either try again or call it quits.

Yeah, I agree with you, Scoots. The anticipation was killing me when Trixie made her appearance and the looming murder scene had me keeping an eye on this RP like a hawk more than ever! Once you make a different one, I'll jump right in it once more! The show must go on, as they say. You are a great RPer by the way.

Arylett basically taught me all that I know about RP gaming. I'm really sad that she is gone, but I'm happy that I had a chance to interact with her while she was here. Really, a remarkable individual. She was easily one of the best writers that I have ever seen in my entire existence. And that's saying something…

 

I really, really am going to miss her.

 

With that said, with you guys encouragements, I will carry on and rebuild this RP.

This next one will still have Trixie getting killed. But the setting will be a bit different… Quite a bit less formal. Your characters will be more able to simply be themselves without needing to worry about constraints of a high society party… As a matter of fact, well… I might as well say that I just had an interesting idea.
