Pearl Necklace/Pearl Light

I redid an old reference of my OC, Pearl Necklace, for an upcoming RP by the lovely Scatcoal that I'm going to join soon.

 

She has a rather unique personality... just one thing: as I said in my last one, do NOT let the fancy looks fool you. Definitely not your stereotypical fashion-loving pony:

 

 

 

I also did a bonus one with a background I thought would fit. This one is called Pearl Light:

This is really nice. I honestly don't have the right words to describe this. It's just as awesome as your other artwork. I espicially like the backround one. The colors radiate and blend in with each other perfectly. Do you usually do things like this in your free time? What programs do you use for this?

She looks awesome! I like the fact that she is a taller pony. I also like the style that you chose for her mane and tail. And, her eyes really make her color scheme come to life. She looks quite elegant and refined. I can't wait to see her come to life in the RP!

Is this the art you were making while we chatted in Skype? It's awesome! She really fits with that moon theme because of her colors. I saw one thing, the black on the left eye looks a little bit too thick at the bottom

 

I would want it a little more sharp like on the right of this example..

Thank you! Ah, glad you like the background and that there's radiating and blending. Well, my whole life is free time, so... yes. I pretty much do.

 

I sketch it out on paper, then Photoshop.

I didn't quite think her to be unique, but I'm happy to hear this regardless. That my OCs are unique!

Ah, Scatcoal! So, you like the host of the party, do you? Honestly, this color scheme wasn't all that thought out. I was doing a random Photoshop doodle when I designed her and just picked colors that I thought looked cool together. But it seems the end result was good, and the eyes do indeed stand out. She's gonna come to life, all right.

Yes, it is! Thank you for your compliments, though I would have to disagree as the point and thinness becomes too thin too abruptly, and isn't really smooth.
