Need help converting a fellow friend into a Brony

Don't try to "convert" anybody. Just explain to them your reasons for enjoying the show as well as common reasons other bronies have. If you can convince him to try the show, that's great. Whether or not he likes it or likes it enough to consider himself a brony would then be up to him, and whatever his decision, it's alright. Should you be unable to convince him to give it a chance, it's his loss. Don't worry yourself about it. Him not liking or even trying the show isn't the end of the world. So long as he doesn't really dislike you or speak his insults with sincerity, that's all that matters.

I've been looking at MLP memes and listening to the music when I'm in study hall with my anti-brony friend. He hates ponys and thinks Cupcakes is great literature.
