My favorite pony is Rainbow Dash. First off, I thought she was a he and when I found out, I felt dumb, I mean, the voice actor totally threw me off. But anyways Rainbow Dash is my favorite because she and Fluttershy are hilarious together in the one episode where, Dash was teaching Fluttershy how to cheer.

Who's your favorite pony?

My favorites are most likely Rarity and Rainbow Dash. The funny thing is that at first Rarity was my least favorite, but she has really grown on me. Thus, this post shall be about Rarity. (Also, as much as I like Rarity's mane, Rainbow Dash wins the mane award. I love the colors!)

When did you start having that pony as your favorite?

I began enjoying her personality and actions the second time around through the show. The first time, I saw her as somewhat of a jerk, but this time, her actions made me laugh and smile. She may make dresses and stuff but I like her overdramatic style, and when she is generous, she really lives out her element.

What episode, scene, or fanon made her/him your official favorite?

Don't really know which episode but my favorite scene is the part where she says "Of all the things that could have happened, this is THE. WORST. THING!

Why did you like him/her because of that?

It honestly shows off her personality as a drama queen, and displays her seriousness about everything.

It's a toss up between Fluttershy and Princess Luna

 

When did you start having that pony as your favorite?

 

For Fluttershy it was months ago when I watched the first episode, For Luna it was during the second season in her focused episode.

 

What episode, scene, or fanon made her/him your official favorite?

 

Fluttershy was Season one Episode one. Princess Luna was during her episode Luna Eclipsed.

 

Why did you like him/her because of that?

 

I saw a lot of myself in the characters, even though I'm not exactly the "Target Market" Fluttershy is really shy and quiet around new people until she gets excited about something and Luna really wants to fit in but just can't quite pull it off most of the time.

She's amazing, I think she's pretty(not in a creepy way!) And I'm sure there is a story behind her that no one would evver guess. Its fun to try and find her in the episodes, like in one episode she was hiding in fluttershys chicken coop! She also stands for what we bronies are, a symbol of our movement.

Initially, Twilight Sparkle was my favorite, but as I started to get into the show more, I started liking RD more.

Why did you like him/her because of that?

I think I liek her most because of her personality. While I'm usually sen as the quiet and shy person, and sometimes even a geek/bookworm, I'm actually more of a competitive person. I oftentimes find myself timing my activities, and if I'm not moving fast enough, I'll speed up. If I'm playing a game, like soccer, or basketball, I play to win. Even if I don't, I'm a good sport. I'm also afraid of failure. I'm always afraid to make a fool of myself, and sometimes lack confidence. I am also a very loyal person.

 

i think overall, while I share personality traits with all of the ponies, I am most like RD myself, even if I don't, or never did, realize it.

Rarity is so funny, she’s kind, she’s successful, and at the drop of the hat she can break down into overdramatic tears which I think is hilarious.

When?

Twilight when I started watching the show, Luna when I saw Luna Eclipsed and all the awesome fan music about her.

 

I don't have any particular scenes that made these ponies my favorites, but Why is because they're both so relatable.

 

Twilight is intelligent, kinda socially awkward and doesn't have that much time for social events. She's also very talented.

Luna is nocturnal and very socially awkward. She likes to spend a lot of time alone because of this. Also, her talent is creating the most beautiful thing ever, the night.

 

I can relate easily to both these characters.

_{I am not entirely sure, to be honest. I do not know exactly when but whenever everyone agrees that we started to get to know her better}

_{I do not really think it was anything in particular. Just getting to know her better as the show introduced her more. Though YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ME! is pretty awesome}

 

Why did you like him/her because of that?

_{Once the show introduced her a fair amount, I began to realize that we have a lot of similar traits. I say this quite often so some may have heard before but those traits are: Shyness, Appreciation of Nature, Rarity of Speech, Hesitation of Speech, Anti Socialistic (More so for me), and I think some could disagree but I think my anger issues are kind of similar to her assertiveness issues (as in, when she is being over-assertive, you really only see it in Putting Your Hoof Down)}

I like Pinkie Pie because she reminds me of myself. We're both very energetic and love to make everyone happy. I also just love that shes able to do impossible things and but mostly because she makes me laugh.

What episode, scene, or fanon made her/him your official favorite? - The first episode onward, especially the beginning of "Sonic Rainboom".

 

Why did you like him/her because of that? - The fact that the first episode introduced her as the element of kindness wasn't a bad start considering it's one of the character traits I try to focus on most. The fact that we both share a love for animals doesn't hurt either. The other episodes helped to build that liking, but the scene in the beginning of the episode "Sonic Rainboom" (yay!) secured her place as my favorite pony. Plus, in all honesty, she's adorable, what's not to like about that?

I had a sneaking suspicion I'd like her best before I even watched the show, but her first scene kinda confirmed it. She just seemed hilarious and free, something you couldn't quite pin down. Undeniably, unquestionably, unstoppable.

Like I said she's always been my favorite but there were 3 scenes that amplified it

1: kicking the dragon and cockily nodding about it, cause it was badass and hillarious

2: the sonic Rainboom episode itself because it had good character development and made me realize that we're actually fairly similar in some ways

3: read it and weep, I couldn't stop laughing the entire episode , it reminded me of what I did with certain book series' like game of thrones and I realized that she could be even cuter than Fluttershy ( in quality not quantity). Also you gotta love her thought process, one chapter left? No way to finish it? She did what anyone would do, dress up like a NINJA and bust into the hospital.

Having always been somewhat bookish and possessing a mind for things both factual and fantastic, I find I relate most to Twilight. Being a bit of an outdoorsman as well and enjoying hard work, there's quite a bit of Applejack in me too. They're almost even but Twilight takes the lead. This is how it's been since the beginning. Pinkie Pie!!

Basically the first episode, Pinkie marches to the beat of her own drum. 

What episode, scene, or fanon made her/him your official favorite?
Making Pinkie my official favorite happened fairly late because it was between her and Twilight.

Twilight's the pony I am the most similar to in terms of personality but Pinkie is hilarious.

It was definitely the "Smile" song which made Pinkie my official favorite. 

Why did you like him/her because of that?
It made clear the insight I already had on Pinkie Pie from the beginning.. she just wants her friends to be happy and to see everypony smile.  Along with her zany/clever/random antics throughout the show, she is the kind of pony who truly makes Equestria a better place.
