Kanon is the only series I have ever cried over.

That makoto arc is powerful heartbreaking stuff.

Just listening to this catchphrase compilation I get a little tearie-eyed (inside) at that weak auuu sound during the arc.

and then I see that beautiful wedding scene and I just cry epic waterfalls inside.

I daresay nothing is a match for this epic sadness.

I can't shed tears. I've already shed all of mine long ago over something else. But a show that I'm emotionally attatched to is either The Walking Dead (Read the graphic Novel) and Breaking Bad. (Plus MLP, is so cute.)

I can't cry over something that I know isn't real. Thats the only conclusion i've come to as to why I've never cried over a show or anything online and such. I think i have to know for a fact its real and then have some emotional connection formed.

Maybe I just don't cry often. However I have cried before. Like at the end of my last year of middle school last year when we had a bunch of people leaving to other schools and not all of us going to be able to see each other next year. I cried on the way home and for a while at home.

I certainly can't force myself to cry or anything. However i can feel sad or bad for someone but I don't tend to cry over it unless it decides to make me strongly emotional.

And when that happens is kinda random.

Jersey shore. Not becuase its emotional or makes me sad, but because it is just so god awful terrible, that its complete torture it makes you cry.

I have never actually cried emotionally to a T.V. Many things can spark up my emotions, but i don't cry on the outside. I have cried to movies though.

Pokemon made me cry like a baby when I was younger. What episode? Pikachu's Goodbye where Ash tries to release Pikachu thinking it would be happier living in the wild than with him. The first season did a great job with the sad montages and I'm positive I'm wasn't the only one who cried during this episode. I think it's up on youtube too, but i'm not searching it up...

I was about to cry in a futurama episode xD

I was about to cry, and suddenly bwam!, I started laughing again.....

Futurama toys with my emotions brah D:

It was this episode, wasn't it?

(It's bad quality but it's the only good one I could find)

I actually was gonna post that video, too. That episode gets me teary-eyed everytime I watch it, and even in a live-action show, it takes A LOT to make me at least shed a tear.

Although, I think there was one episode of Cold Case where this victim got his whole family shot just because of gang violence, but man, it was really depressing.

This is a little embarrassing since I don't cry when watching tv or movies.

But that one show that had me bawling like a baby was Doctor Who. I grew attached to the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) should I say more? ¬¬

I dunno, not really. The good guy always wins, someone dies half the time, and whatever emotional problems a character has they'll usually either get over it or go crazy or something like that, TV is predictable that way usually.

This from MLP gets me a bit though:

It just makes you feel so bad for for Twilight.

*sniff* Seymour... :(

Luck of the Fryrish was a very emotional one too, Futurama is great at handling this kind of stuff when it wants to.

I challenge you to take the key challenge.

watch

air

kanon

and clannad.

if you feel nothing. You're prolly dead inside.

grave of the fire flies too.

@,

really? elfen lied that's pretty tame compared to say... higurashi or monogatari or the infamous (and not for the faint hearted even if you think ur not) mai's daily life.

@@indySkye,

tenant is god-doctor

he's a pretty charming casanova too (prototype for the modern doctor who story formula)

@,

I feel slightly tempted to systematically traumatise all of you. Because you guys seem to have not exposed yourself to enough of what world culture can offer.

Actually it was the "Luck of the Fryish episode" Fry thought his brother had stolen Fry's life after he stole his clover, he went grave robbing to try to get it back, but he found out that it was actually his brother's son, which was named Fry because of his dissapearence, and Fry realized that after reading the engraving on the tombstone and suddenly bender shouts "I found the clover! And his wedding ring too!"

Awwwwww, yeah! That one was also pretty sad, too. Futurama does a great job of making you laugh, but then justs stabs you in the heart at the last second. :P

Of course, Bender's line ultimately shatters any emotional feelings you had for the scene. :P

Eh, I just found the entire plot of Elfen Lied to be incredibly depressing and the obvious outcome of the story. The ending (The mangas especially) hit me hard. I hated how the manga tried to have this sappy last minute happy ending that quite frankly, sucked. I have not seen those two other shows that you mentioned so the comparison is invalid for me.

The Royal Wedding almost made me cry tears of nostalgic joy if that counts.

I came close a couple times during Highlander: The Series.

When I was like 11 ort 12, I was really into Avatar The Last Airbender. But then I started not watching TV (therefore cartoons) as much. Then about a few months ago I found out that the whole series was on Netflix. So I took about 4 days all to myself to watch the whole series, and more than once in the last episode did I cry.

Everyone always feels super sad at the send of any series because they know that this is the end of the road. I guess you could say Korra was the new beginning but there is no Aang, Toph, or Uncle Iroh :( .

There is one show and one game I have to mention here:

The game: Silent Hill 2

Boy, when I watched the ending of this game, I really could not help but cry; though it isn't necessarily bad. This game is truly a masterpiece of art and an emotional roller-coaster rolled into one without being over-dramatic at all. Loved it!

The show: My Little Pony

Honestly, I cried because of how happy I was watching it at times; I'm normally a pretty serious guy who can have problems with depression!

Naruto is the only TV show i can think of at the moment.

For me, no other show can do what Naruto did. Its more magical then MLP simply because its more realistic and not some basic problems that can be solved within a minute.

This! I cried the first time I watched it (I am such a softie XD). Bucking Twilight, being all sweet and making me cry! I'm an only child, too, so I can't exactly relate to losing the love of your brother... And yet... T_T

The Fox and The Hound.

The film was pretty sad and funny/cute at times, but the end part was really sad - the part which made me cry. A fox and a blood hound, who had been best friends from childhood, after a wonderful and long friendship have become foes and tried to kill each other. Later on, when they were fighting near a waterfall, they encountered a bear, whom they defeated by knocking off the waterfall. But sadly the fox accidentally fell down with the bear. The blood hound swiftly went to the bottom of the waterfall to see if the fox was alright. Meanwhile, when the hound was rushing down the waterfall and when the fox was lying down near the riven exhausted from the fight with the bear, a farmer - the blood hound's owner - was already starting to aim with his gun at the fox to finish it off once and for all. But suddenly the hound intervened and shielded the fox with his body. The farmer had nothing else to do but to lower his gun and let the fox go, but not before the two former adversaries shared one last smile before parting. Later at home the hound, before resting, was smiling as he remembered the day when he became friends with the fox. On a hill the fox's wife joined him as he was looking down on the hound's home, remembering the great times they had and that they will not be able to be friends anymore.

Can anyone give me a napkin? I'm already crying typing this. ;_;

But it was quite a happy ending compared to the novel, where all of them die in the end (or so I heard).
