Started to replay Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. All of my previous runs were on console, but this time it's on the PC.

 

Oh and it's just the campaign mode, I don't intend on playing multiplayer. Anyways, decided to give the Veteran difficulty a go right off the bat (the game recommended it ... also I've done it before on console, so why not?). Going good so far, having a few bumps here and there, but it overall feels a lot more easier than I remember.

Some people find mouse & keyboard to be a better control scheme than controllers. I personally could never get used to it and prefer dualsticks for my shooters.

Well, my World of Warcraft membership is over, I have no money to buy another one, and I got a PS3 at my family reunion. So I'm playing Catherine. This game is pretty stupid. Also, the main character has one of the worst facial hair designs ever. I LOVE IT!

Why would you ever need to? You can change the buttons around and it probably supports the arcade stick.

True, yet the control setup is confusing. Its not like MK, where it shows you arrows, but move types to unleash combos.

I've...never played Mortal Kombat but most fighting games use arrows. Street Fighter is a little more complex than most also but it's easy enough to look up what they all mean and typically half the cast will use the same arrow movements for all their moves so it's not like you have to learn 40 unique movesets. It's more like three or four movesets for everyone, a third of them using not only the same combinations but also the same movesets with slight alterations in form and function. Like Ken can do the spinning kick through certain projectiles while Ryu can't do that. On the other hand, Ryu has a more powerful Hadoken-like attack that can't be phased through. Or how Ken's Shoryuken has a fire element while Ryu's does not. Stuff like that.

Moving on to Call of Duty: Black Ops. Veteran on PC, again.

 

It's a lot harder than MW2 was ... seriously, I barely have a chance to even spot my targets, before I get my head blown off. It's like the enemies deal three times as much damage, or are just way more accurate (as I've noticed I'm being hit more often), my goodness! Gonna have to slow down my pacing considerably. Think I'm getting a bit too cocky after MW2.
