To Applebloom: Suddenly the Slendermane appears before Dave. It turns around and starts walking though the maze. As it walked, the maze started changing. Entrances closed, walls rose and fell. Then it looked back at Dave. It seemed like it wanted him to follow it.

It was the strange pony Dave had seen before. What did he want? Dave stared at him for a minute and then, reluctantly, began to follow him. "I don't know if I should trust this pony but maybe he knows a way out. Either way, I'm not getting anywhere wandering around this maze." Dave followed the Slendermane through the maze until they came upon a doorway which stood strong amidst the changing maze. The Slendermane stood there as if motioning for him to come in. "This could be a trap but what choice do I have?", dave thought as he entered the room.

"Uh, a mask? Oh that's right!" Dave had been so distracted by the Slendermane that he almost forgot about the mask he had been holding under his wing. He handed it to Garth. "But how did you know...", he started to ask as he looked around at all the other ponies and accompanying masks.

Slendermane walked over to Fa and looked at her puzzle box, then looked at the statue of light.

The Happy Mask Pony turns back to discern the source of the commotion.

"Sorry, everypony. Memories... Anyways, I see that all the masks are here. Let us begin."

He gathers the masks from everyone. Turning to the statues with a look of determination on his face, he begins his strange ritual once again, although different this time.

"Applejack, I give you to the spirit of the Earth.

Rainbow Dash, I give you to the spirit of the Wind.

Fluttershy, I give you to the spirit of the Water.

Pinkie Pie, I give you to the spirit of fire.

Rarity, I give you to the spirit of Light.

Twilight Sparkle, I give you to the spirit of darkness.

Wear them with honor."

He finishes placing the masks on the respective ponies.

Slendermane shook his head. "There is one mask left. Twilight. Also, Pinkie Pie was lost to the darkness and Rarity is the fires of creativity." He reached out his tentacles and took the 5 masks and laid them in the center, but still lined up with their statues. He gave Fa a letter. "Friendship is Magic." Then he took the puzzle box and laid it near the masks. Suddenly, it began to glow and the box began to twist and turn, unlocking it. It fell to the ground and opened, revealing the mask of Twilight, the mask of Light.

(Sorry. I implied that I gave a letter to Happy Mask Pony. but maybe somehow Slendermane was able to speak without driving you all insane and rearranging your internal organs. I will just say, "Magic. Deal with it.")

The masks, now on the right statues, began to glow. Suddenly, the statues changed color to match each mask. Also, cutie marks appeared on the statues. The eyes of the statues began to glow. A magical glow shot out from each statue's eyes and met in the middle. The light began to change and shift, then became a large, vertical oval in the center of the room. Through the oval was a gateway to another place. They could all see green fields and blue skies through the gate. Slendermane backed away from the portal, and bowed to the others.

Garth shook Slendermane's actual hoof before saying, "I guess I can't bring my friends here? Only go back to them. Oh well, hope to see you around sometime else Slendermane." He stepped into the portal and vanished.

 

(Well, my guy is gone. What now?)

Lyra (who was clearly here for all the action above) hugs Slendermane, and walks into the portal, smiling at the new friends she was leaving behind. She thought to herself: "Sure I'll be leaving them, but if I've learned anything in this crazy place, it's that friendship is magic, and cannot be figured out. I may see some of these ponies again..." And with that, she left, upset and glad, not sure of what to expect next.

Why are you dragging your cursor over my signature? Is there a problem here? Do you maybe expect something special? Honestly, that's kind of creepy. Are you trying to get as much information about me as possible? Maybe you're going to copy and paste this into onto your little collage or all things Lyra? (me, not the awesome BG pony...) You seriously have issues dude... I pity you.

Fa watch the whole show in awe. She was speechless. At first, she thought it was one of Slendermane's gimmicks, but at the events unfolded, it became clear.

 

"Well I'm glad this is all over. Thank you for your guidance in this, Slendermane." Fa extended her hoof to him before she walked through the portal and vanished.

Who says you need wings to fly??

The Happy Mask Pony smiles. "you're an intersting pony, Slendermane. I hope to see you again someday. If you ever need my help, I'm on call. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go get my mask back from Lyra." He too, follows through the portal.

(Well, this is pretty much the end of this Labyrinth. At least it will be when everypony goes through the portal. I will take a few days off from the Labyrinth to try and come up with some ideas. In the meantime, please let me know if you want to return for the sequel. Also, any ideas and suggestions are welcome. I will probably just use the same thread.)

(To St. Pinkie: You could just say that the portal either takes you back to where you were when you were taken, or to anywhere you want to go. Personally, I don't think all of these characters are from the same universe or time.)
