Tara Strong's First Cosplay

So if you follow Tara Strong on Twitter you've probably already seen it, but for those unlucky ones who missed it or don't follow her. This is Tara Strong, trolling the heck out of Canterlot Gardens, in her first cosplay outfit as Twilight Sparkle.

Simple for sure but elegant. And the collective gasp from the audience and their stunned silence at first just goes to show how truly extraordinary our pony mistress is. I think this proves it. Tara Strong is best pony. What do you guys think?

Psh, if Tabitha St. Germain ever cosplayed as Rarity she'd have Tara beat.

 

Although this is pretty awesome. It's almost unprecedented how much the staff of this show interacts with their fanbase like this. At least for a children's animated cartoon.

I expect nothing less from Tara, really. Perhaps even more than De Lancie, she has a lot of personal interest invested in actually participating in this fanbase. She goofs along with us, she posts Tweets about, with and for us, and now she's dressing up as most adorkable pony for us as well.

Lauren Faust easily embraced the bronies because it's not the first time grown men have liked a show she worked on. I still think it's hilarious that Tara actually grabbed Lauren's phone and made her get a Twitter. All I can picture is an over-enthusiastic Twilight Sparkle forcing Celestia to participate in some silly thing.

 

Don't forget John :3 He's the king of the bronies where Tara is the queen. He's a driving force behind the documentary that's being made, and he, like Tara, has a ton of fascination and respect for the fanbase. He's even referred to it as the start of a movement, not just a fanbase.

I think her mane was way too purple. I'm not a Twilight fan, but I really loved the reaction of the audience. Oh and the dress was nicely done, but the hair seemed awkward to me.

Tara has now become the official queen of all that is Brony-dom! Long Live Twilight Sparkle! Long Live Tara Strong! Did you know Tara also did a lot of work on my other favorite, Kim Possible? She played Kim's cousin Jocelyn (Joss) Possible, fellow Mad Dog cheerleader Tara (named after her!) and superstar Britina! I also loved her as Raven on Teen Titans. Her dry almost husky-sexy delivery was perfect for my favorite goth mage!

For me, the best part was how the other speakers and the audience actually tried to troll her, and instead got majorly counter-trolled by her cosplaying!!! Silly bronies!!!!! That was friggin' awesome of Tara to cosplay as her own character! Is there a possibility that she might do the same for Equestria LA?...Or would doing it again just lack the element of surprise that her reveal at that panel had?

Tara strong is awesome and she has the greatest sense of humor, I'd like to meet her but I can't I wonder if she'll ever travel to the east and make appearances?
