While I feel that there are some members who shouldn't have got the position, I suppose it's good for the forum, as a lot of the Section Moderators sorta disappeared, leaving the forum in a mess.

I looked up to some of these folks on a mod-like level anyway, so it's not a big surprise. Congratulations to all of them. I hope they can handle the torrent of my constant swearing, flaming and general rule-breaking. As well as my secret agenda to turn the forum into a clopper's paradise.

If we're calling the place a mess between the time the old mods left and the new ones were promoted, to me that says a lot about the standards of MLP Forums. It's one of the most organized boards I've ever been on. Edited October 2, 2012 by TailsAlone

That was always a bit problematic, sadly. That left a bunch of work to a select few which was pressuring in its own way. Looks like they'll be able to spread the load more now, though.

As stated in the opening post, we are more than happy to listen to any misgivings that people might have about our selections. While we aren't likely to can anyone based on said misgivings, we can pay extra close attention to the individual in question and make sure that they're not doing anything untoward with their privileges - informing us directly (via a support ticket as originally described) is much more effective than vague references to people that you disapprove of. ^^;

I honestly can't think of anything disorganized or trashy about this place, which means the mods do a great job of maintaining order here. Sure, there's some drama here and there, but hey, what forum doesn't have that now, huh?

 

It's actually one of the most organized forums I've been on, at least. NOW QUIT COMPLAINING AND LET'S ALL HAVE APPLE CIDER!

Its always good to get some new people to run the forums. And the fact that we need more mods is overall probably a good thing because that means the forums are growing, and thats good
