Who would have the biggest impact on you if...

One of the mane six were to pass away? I'm saying theoretically. This isn't about realism in the show so don't go posting things like. "We don't need to answer this because it would never happen." This is about personal opinion. If one were to pass away, which one would have the greatest impact on you? Emotionally speaking.

 

I for one would have to say Rainbow Dash. Although Fluttershy is and always will be my favourite, I feel like I would be more emotionally affected by Rainbow Dash's passing. She is just so energetic and full of life that it would seem emotionally draining to not see her racing, or clearing clouds, or doing something. It would feel empty.

 

So now I ask you. What do you think? If one of the mane six were to pass away, which one would leave you the most emotional? Who would have the greatest impact on you and why?

Applejack. She seems to get the least attention from the other ponies and from the fans. I feel really bad for her and despite them going after her in The Last Roundup I can't help but think that her death would evoke the least emotion from the others.

Pinkie, not only because she's my favorite pony, but look at all the ponies who's lives she's affected, it'd be more than a shame if she left, I can see Rainbow Dash and Twilight being the most depressed out of the group if she left.

I guess Pinkie Pie. Although she's not my favorite, she's defiantly the funniest one out there. She's the one that makes ponyville so bright and colorful. If she passed away, the town would basically be something like Lavender Town or any atmosphere of a creepypasta.

I guess I'm the first to say Twilight Sparkle then. Not that she's my favorite pony, but with the important and lovable role she plays, it would be hard to take, and the others, which would be called Mane 5, would be very sad, making me sadder than before

I agree with CR. TS isn't my favorite character (though I do love her), and I don't particularly relate to her. However, she really is the vibrant and dynamic core that ties the entire premise together. If she died, it could very quickly obliterate every storyline she upheld and any promising developments within her potential.

Though Applejack is my favorite character, I would say...probably Pinkie Pie. That's saying something considering Pinkie is fourth on my list. She makes the show comical and creating an overall happy atmosphere. It would be very different if she's gone.

 

Of course, that's not saying that if AJ dies, I wouldn't care. As the Invisible Man said, nobody else out there would even care if AJ passed away, which is why it's much worse that way. Applejack is the greatest supporting friend there is, always helping others, trying to do her best to give Ponyville its needs; if she's gone, BOOM. Everyone starves and dies. Probably Pinkie Pie. She provides random comic relief, and without that the show would be a lot more boring. I would begin to miss the spontaneous pink pony always creating awkward moments for me to laugh at.

I would have to say Twilight, not because she's my favorite pony, but because she's like the glue that holds here and her friends together. Without her there would most likely be much confusion amongst her friends, and my guess is that without her they would be farther apart from each other.

I disagree. In my opinion, Spike is the one who is really unappreciated in the series. Fans barely think of him when they discuss the show. If Spike were to die (or if he is written off) I probably quit watching the show.

Well I'd be pretty sad to see any of the mane 6 die for whatever reason, and although I would feel horrible about fluttershy considering how much I love her. I actually think Pinkie would have the greatest effect. Considering how hyper she is and how much energy she brings and happyness she trys to bring to everyone. It would feel really bad if all of that where to just suddenly burn out, wither up, and die.

 

But watching Fluttershy die might be unbearable for me as well.. Well actually idk I'm not the most emotion person ever. I don't really tend to cry over alot. So I guess its hard for me to tell.

I'm not sure who of the mane six would be the biggest loss, I'm pretty sure that if any of them died it would be equally tragic...although I think that the pony that would have the largest in my opinion (Even though she isn't one of the mane six) is Princess Celestia. Her death would more than likely alter the life of everpony in Equestria.

I feel the same way, but the topic of the thread concerns the death of one of the Mane 6. So Spike isn't a candidate this time. If the question concerned every character in the show then I would say Spike.

Yeah, I understand that. The thing is I consider Spike to be part of the main cast, although I admit his position in the show is really confusing.

Applejack as well, because she has been condecorated and prized multiple times in Ponyville, she makes her town proud by being the best athlete, so it's fair that everyone would be really sad if she died.

Actually, I believe they are already great friends and their sleepover was simply a petty one-time thing.

Strangely enough, my least favorite pony's death would affect me the most. I don't like Pinkie Pie, but I'd hate to see anything happen to her. I may not like the way she acts, but over the episodes I've come to appreciate her efforts to keep her friends' high spirits up.
