Padlock-Keys 57 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) Didn't they already? But they also attacked Mario a year ago or so? Man, Anonymous PLEASE take PETA down or expose them for the shithead COMPANY that they are. I say that The Pokemon Company/Nintendo should SUE PETA for this. Shouldn't they? Video: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHVQ9g6qDSo&feature=g-u-u Article 1: http://www.ign.com/b...-black-white-2/ Article 2: http://www.torontosu...ng-animal-abuse There are plenty more animal rescues out there that do a 100% better job than PETA! Oh dear god, I just had a horrible daydream... what if PETA attacked MLP? "Horses should be wild and FREE!" .... I'm not even going to comment on that O.O! But no seriously. PETA, a pet owner, just by rescuing a dog from the pound can do ten times better than your crappy company. You do absolutely NOTHING to raise awareness or protect animals... you just... are horrible. PETA: People eat tasty animals! See what I did there? No offense to those who are vegan/vegetarian.... EDIT. I decided to write a little more detailed opinion on the matter as it seems others have very um, indifferent opinions, some are joking and some are serious. Although all feedback is greatly appreciated! Animal Cruelty is everywhere. PETA knows this. Everyone knows this. Then how come people only care when some stupid video-game is damaged that’s when people get mad? It’s pathetic. I am guilty of this though. I didn’t start caring about PETA until Super Mario Land 3D, when the Tanooki suit incident occurred. So, ask yourselves, what would make this better? Building more animal shelters? Raising awareness? Getting more people to volunteer in animal shelters and rescues? We’re already aware of animal cruelty. Though making documentaries no matter how horribly graphic they are is NOT going to help raise awareness, in my opinion it’s just going to make us go ‘like OMG that’s so horrible!’ and then we flip the channel to Cartoon Network or something. Building more animal shelters might help, because there are a lot of places that don’t have enough space, the dog I got fourteen years ago was about to be euthanized because there wasn’t enough room. Now we own him and he’s turning fifteen soon, he’s a happy and healthy old dog! He can pull my mom off her feet when she walks him to the park! Ding, ding, ding! I think we have a winner! Getting more people to volunteer, at least even for an hour or two, with any charitable organization (not PETA), would help a tone! Whether it be for humans or animals or whatever, everyone can pitch in a little bit of time can’t they? I do encourage some people to donate their time to organizations. Not just their money. I think time is a little more valuable than money, in certain situations, though both are pretty important. Overall this is my more detailed response, as my last one was rather ignorant. Please continue commenting and providing as much feedback as you can. I want to somehow help animals and stop organizations like PETA, but then again; what is it that we can do about PETA? Nothing! It’s sad but true. Getting mad over it won’t help, but thinking about what we can do to make things better can help a tone. Thank you for listening. Wubsie 1,123 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) I laughed so hard when I saw the title of this thread. Attacking Pokemon? You fucking serious? Didn't some people already try to take Pokemon down for devil worship? Really? Animal abuse? Come on PETA lighten up, it's a fucking kids game that everyone enjoys. Stop it. I doubt they've touched an episode of this phenomenal series known as Pokemon to even say this BS. As you can see Pokemon are companions to roam regions with and battle to be the best. Trainers always take care of their Pokemon, show them respect, and treat them with love. They don't beat them, they heal them and feed them when they need help. They have Pokemon centers for Pokemon to rest. Just look at Ash Ketchum, he treats every single last Pokemon like they are his own damn child, and his Pokemon loves him as well. If anything this show teaches a child how to be responsible with a pet, not shove them into balls and harm them. Just back the fuck off PETA....please... Edit: I have just started playing the game. Starshine 16,333 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 It's not that PETA claiming that Pokemon exists, it's that the younger generation become so focused on playing Pokemon that they will forgot that animals have rights too :/ Just read the opening lines on the game, it's all there http://features.peta.org/pokemon-black-and-white-parody/

Crispy 5,563 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 People still listen to things that PETA have to say? Oh well. They did Mario with the whole Tanooki thing, now it's Pokemon. We'll all forget in a week and it'll be something else that has the internet in a tizzy for a bit, rinse, repeat. 1 GET IN THE PIT On 8/23/2012 at 1:54 AM, Djenty said: ON MLP 4UMS ERRYTHIN IS SRS

To me, that's just as on level into believing that there are Earth-like Pokemon out there that actually do this crap. It's a stupid marketing gimmick if you ask me. null123456 759 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) First, they make fun of mario, then Super Meat Boy.. Now POKEMON! Poke. DAMN. Mon. I mean really! If there going to make fun of something they may as well make fun of themselves! I mean.. I see why they want to protect animals and stuff (Sarcasm). But is raging over some FAKE cartoon or game, making a game offending the company that made the game, and ranting about nearly nothing PETA's job?! I guess it is.. I rest my case. Starshine 16,333 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 It's a stupid marketing gimmick if you ask me. It's stupid, but at least they didn't rightfully claim that Pokemon exist and being forced to claw each other to live, like some people said in this thread
HomuraBL 851 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Just finished watching a full play though of it. It was kinda funny how inaccurate this entire thing are. Especially since pokemon are treated with more respect and compassion then any animal in our world. But peta seriously needs to give it a rest. :/
sleepyhead. 174 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Oh whoopie, more propaganda. Let's bitch about a bunch of colourful pixels that supposedly promote animal abuse and turn it into an even more vividly violent flash game. 1 I like dollies. HomuraBL 851 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 I'm a slowpoke, I just figured out the slowpoke joke at the end. The slowpoke comes at the end to say that Team plasma is a group that helps free pokemon, but they were disbanded already and...spoilers... So the slowpoke is a slowpoke get it?... But seriously, memes aren't going to help you either peta. :/
Seiji Matsuri 19 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Honey... PETA has been attacking Pokemon since 1996. This really is nothing at all new. letterone 1,204 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Just played the game. They got so many things wrong. But let's not nitpick and instead talk about how much of a dumb piece of crap Peta is. Radiance64 7,053 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Ah, I've heard of this. I didn't think it was worth talking about, just sheer idiocy on every level. Don't they have better things to focus on than Pokemon?
HomuraBL 851 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Ah, I've heard of this. I didn't think it was worth talking about, just sheer idiocy on every level. Don't they have better things to focus on than Pokemon? We are the internet, we love talking about idiocy. Well, obviously no, since they felt that making a huge flash game, (which I will applaud them for actually putting work into making a game instead of being completely lazy), to show a message. :/ Peta, if you are truly trying to have a support for animals and are not just in it for attention, then I will admit to having respect for you for that, but you just take it too far sometimes.
Kalypso 69 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 I would like to include the fact that they have all but destroyed the economy of Ocracoke Island North Carolina by shutting down the best part of our beach to save an endangered species... wait for it... that isn't even supposed to live here they invaded our beach and are taking over other species and now we have to pay to get on the beach and are losing tourist which is what people on this island live off of. Gears of Halo Duty V 394 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Just saw some video playthroughs of it, and the end really got to me. It was really insightful to learn how Ash never cared for Pikachu or any pokemon at all. You know, despite the fact that In the very first episode he risked his life for PikachuHe decided not to force Pikachu to evolve because he believed in his abilities and valued the bond they hadHe decided to let Pikachu go live with other Pikachus at one time becuase he believed he (Pikachu) would have a better lifeHe never forced Pikachu into a pokeball because Pikachu didn't like being inside oneHe always puts the well being of his pokemon ahead of even his ownOh wait... You just successfully and systematically pissed off countless fans of a show that teaches friendship, trust and compassion.
