Hey guys I never played this game before nor have I downloaded it; I'm curious if this game is worth getting because I keep hearing positive things about it. However I do hear it's fair share of complaints like how it takes so long to get certain things and the whole gem thing is overused to the point it feels like pay to win sort of thing.

 

So can someone explain to me if it's worth downloading?

Well it's a great game and very addicting but on the down side you have to save everything to get the items and ponies with hearts, gems and bits but the more friends you add, more the merrier at least it's a good game to settle down and relax to which the hardest parts are collecting and EG dance game mostly positive game I played

It really depends on whether or not you have the patience for this type of game. Of example, if you start it up at least once a day you should eventually earn enough free gems to buy the stuff you can't simply get with Bits (for example, some of the Mane Six). Also, if you are new to this type of game then I should also point out having to manually collect from each business when they are ready for you to collect from them (this depends on the business and what you've got it set to). I'd say something positive but I can't think of much at the moment other than those mini games being a little fun.

In other news, I finally got a random glitch that worked in my favor.  I was opening it up a couple of days ago, and it started a near-infinite loop of giving me the daily bonuses.  By the time it finally bypassed the bonuses, I had collected 54 gems.  Naturally, I immediately spent all of these (plus two more) to purchase the reduced priced Emerald Gem.  One might argue that that was a waste (especially since I'm trying to save up for Soarin) but if she's only around for the Nightmare Night update, then I don't want to miss her if I don't have to.

Greetings everypony. I'm at level 70 and I'm looking for a good way to get magic shards. Any ideas? Also, I plan on battling changelings for gems, leaving the ones that you beat with magic shards for later, when I have a reliable source of magic shards. Is that a good idea?

Get a functional observatory and hospital as soon as possible, because they have a high chance of producing magic shards (plus, you're going to need both of them for quests later on, so there's no harm in purchasing them).  I think that Town Hall also has a high chance of producing magic shards, but good luck saving up the gems for that...  Also try to have as many different shops running at the same time as you can, because every shop should have at least a slight chance of producing a magic shard.  I've also heard rumors that shops will produce more shards if they're creating their second item, but there's been no confirmation on that as far as I know.

 

And yes, leaving the magic changelings/parasprites alone until after you've activated the harmony stone is an excellent idea.

Sounds like I got my work cut out for me. I mean Soarin costs 220 gems and town hall about 360 gems. And I don't get why Uncle Orange lives in Ponyville while Aunt Orange lives in Canterlot. Also, what else was on sale besides Emerald Gem (Sassaflash)?

I may recommend saving Magic Shards for unlocking Element of Magic first before you use them on parasprites and changelings. With Canterlot, It should be easy enough to get Magic Shards. It's most likely that the observatory, royal conservatory, ponyville town hall, and hospital should give you some magic shards.

How to get magic shards is when you play the balloon pop (10 gem one) game to get the shards but you have to watch out you may get random items every time you play

Oh Kirby I was wondering are you playing MLP right now cuz I'm gonna try again with adding you on gl if its not being glitchy if that is ok with you?

Assigning 2-3 ponies to the shops will get you more money, but you need the required stars in order to get more money. Canterlot Shops requires about 3-5 Stars for second item and the money bonus.

I don't believe so...  The third pony will just add the bonus to the bits.  If you're looking to get the most bits out of it, it's actually mathematically more profitable to use three ponies to produce the first item, though that's not the case for the shards.  And feel free to add me: LordAntismurf67.

and Yeah. Once you get Princess Twilight Sparkle, It's easy to idenfity the changelings for now, but the Questline is costly of around 90-100 gems total.

 

Noticing about the nightmare night, the mane6 are in their costumes except for mayor mare, zecora, and the CMC.

The changelings are copying old Twilight in Canterlot even when I have unlocked Princess Twilight so they are much easier to spot now.

 

Why is Flash Sentry (if you won him) in Canterlot?  Isn't he stationed at the Crystal Empire?  Why isn't there a Crystal Empire in the game anyway?

 

Then again, what in Equestria is Sunset Shimmer doing in the game at all?  That makes no sense at all.

 

Seriously, I'm sure they could have done this better.

I liked to think that maybe this is when Sunset Shimmer is allowed to return to Equestria after the Mane Six defeated her, and that she is starting anew. Also, I noticed that Emerald Gem and Fire Chief and the other "Halloween Exclusive" items and gimmicks are still available even though it's November. Is my game glitching up? Is anyone else having a problem like this? I'm getting a bit tired of the Ponies' costumes, and I wish the would just go back to being their regular selves ;^;

I don't think that it's a glitch, they just haven't bothered taking it away yet.  Come to think of it, if they're doing a Hearth's Warming Eve update, they might just keep them until then.  I don't know how it worked last year though...

I got one cool glitch in my favor. Even though I no longer have any ponies there it!'s still producing bowling balls, a tier two item. Another glitch, at least for Ponyville is that Derpy appears without her cardboard box. She just stands still until you tap her. Odd, but she still rewards you nonetheless.

Well I feel everybody's pain about that, but they need to make the dance mini-game a little more easy because some of us can't complete the EG Challenge as well and the timing? Well it's getting difficult on the 2 green parts of the dance and making it hard to get a good score. Last time I pulled off a perfect combo on the opening theme, but almost pulled off a Perfect Combo for EG stomp.

 

There's nothing I can do on my end except Gathering Gems and Money and I haven't spent a single penny on Expansions nor Decors.

Yes Kirby I understand the dance game very well it sometimes glitches and the damn thing would make me skip or miss a beat and I can get the chords good just have to hit them as the same time with two fingers eg stomp is extremely hard for me until I get better with strange world and opening theme ill be close to the main prize and hope to get the guard pony
