I've managed to save enough of those gems to play in the Flim and Flam ballon pop game but I am rarely about how difficult it will be? I want to win Trixie and Daring Do but I am worried about how difficult it will be.

Jees I need them too. Already spent near 100 gems for ballon pop game and nothing, no Trixie and no Daring Doo

 

You know, first time when I played ballon pop for gems, I won Princess Celestia! (I'm not kidding)

Darn it, updated my Galaxy Note 3 to KitKat and not only does MLP now crash on start up but actual phone reception is utter garbage now too.

 

This is why I keep my primary game on PC with Genymotion.

I don't know if this is a strange glitch in the game but I won 4 Caramels from the balloon pop game plus doctor hooves. The 4 Caramels showed up on my inventory section of the game and I was able to transfer all 4 of them to the game itself except that only 1 of them could be assigned to a shop. Does anyone know what the highest level one can get in this game? Is it 99? Thanks everyone for your help

It happened before when we had a glitch with octavias in canterlot. To answer your question: The Max level is 70 till later updates, but not sure if we're gonna go higher than 70 in later updates. We needed crystal empire to travel as well and probably later on equestria girls mini-game will be updated with rainbow rocks.

When you play the equestria girls dance mini-game, one of the mane6 will be marked as recommended because they have higher score rate than the others. It's random like that though, but if you pick one of the mane6 with a low score rate, you won't get much further in completing the equestria girls dance mini-game. the other 2 dance partners is which friends you want to dance with if you want to give them more hearts also giving you more higher score rate.

I downloaded this to my phone last week  and I can say a few things from playing it...

 

It's not that bad, for a F2P.   Everything is achievable, with patience.  Different from other games if you play it out as, "i'll pic it up and tap on it for a few min a couple of times a day"  then the timers won't feel too bad.

 

The game award the Gems pretty constantly. Tho I am only lvl 35 and don't know if I will continue to get gems this often after lvl cap.

You get gems from playing every day.  something like 2 for every 5 consecutive days.    The Gem prices may seem a bit high (that is how many gems to buy of do something) , but again   I'm having no problems getting them.  I am halfway to DJ pon-3 140 some gems. and  its been about 2-3 weeks.  So say a month if I just save up for her. 

 

The dance mini game is cute, and the models they use there actually look Better then the movie, I don't know why, just me i suppose.

 

Now the down sides.

Gems are too easy to use.   I have wasted gems on a money timer, (when trying to pick up, tap all the coins)   And a Land purchase when scrolling around looking for derpy.  There is no confirmation of use for this valuable currency. 

 

Thats about it.  It's cute, it's fun, it's free, it's not for everypony.

Gems can now be saved now that the equestria girls dance mini-games rewards certain ponies upon completing however the rewards change every fridays at 11AM so apparently I may recommend saving gems for most expensive shop which is the town hall.

Does anyone have any ideas when the next update will be? Will the update be automatic or do we have to download the latest version somewhere? I just hope that new ponies can be added and they can be bought with bits and not gems.

1. I have looked at my achievements/trophies and noticed that I only need about 2-7 more friends to make 100, but more than that is appreciated. Here is my GL ID: Jamar95

 

2. I would like to know if there is any way to speed up my iPod or not make the game lag, because several times when I was doing the dancing game, it would lag terribly and then I would get the whole "You Rock" message at the end when there is still notes coming.

Yeah, sometimes the game glitches and the song and notes aren't in sync like they should be. The game ends when the song is over not when you press all the notes. If the song and notes aren't in sync, then just pause the game, wait a few seconds, and unpause. It'll skip to the notes you should be at.

It depends on how well you do on Equestria Girls Dance mini-game, and how much your score multiplier was, and yeah, it's true that you can win ponies, but you have to reach that goal before friday at 11AM PST and the only warning part is that you can't win balloon pop ponies on equestria girls dance mini-game (or that's what i read so far). Your score will be higher depending how many stars you earned for the mane6 and dancing with Friends. I may suggest using a mane6 with 4% multiplier followed by dancing with 2 other friends you choose, and finally additional 4% for the mane6's fall formal outfit.

It's probably you set it to mute or didn't turn the volume up on your iOS or android so apparently it's not a glitch.

No idea when the next update will be, but it should be automatic (or at least it always has been on my android device).  It seems like a lot of times when they add ponies to updates, at least one of them can be bought with bits while the other one requires gems.  They'll also add some of them to the potential dance game prizes (Lightning Dust and Flash Sentry are ones that I know are only available through the dance game).

You can win soarin in equestria girls dance mini-game, but there's a random chance so you have to complete the equestria girls dance mini-game every friday through sunday. It might be best to get a town hall first because that's the most expensive shop in the game. If you want to get the last 2 shops, then you wanna save till 310 gems for both quills & sofas and town hall. I won soarin from equestria girls dance mini-game and didn't cost me a gem to get him.

 

As for the gems, well you probably been playing daily to get the daily bonuses, and defeating the parasprites and changelings.

If i'm right, that sale goes to princess celestia and the gems. Too bad i don't even have enough for her during that sale because i'm 100 or more gems short, but I'm saving up for Town hall though.

 

I heard that there's a new update coming in sooner or later. On their FB page, they said we're gonna have mini-game to find gems, and to play with the 5-star ponies.

Don't get too excited. You need mane6 for Equestria Girls Dance mini-game also to get a higher score for Equestria Girls Dance mini-game, you need to earn more stars for them also not to mention you can win gem-based ponies from Equestria Girls Dance mini-game challenge to conserve your gems, but the rewards change every fridays at 12PM PST (or PDT) due to daylight savings time (or time shift in my case).

 

I have won most of the gem-based ponies from Equestria Girls Dance mini-game challenge, but It wasn't that easy even though I needed more to fill up my ponyville shops. As for Canterlot shops, well One shop expired on me on that winter season before I had the chance to buy it, but decided to save for Ponyville Town Hall.

My Ponyville is infested with parasprites that you get rid of with loyalty, kindness, and magic shards. My Canterlot is infested with those kinds of Changelings, but they aren't as numerous as the Parasprites. I don't have a whole lot of shards, my shops don't spawn them quickly enough, and my balloon pop game doesn't let me play every 24 hours like its supposed to, and "time skipping" just makes it worse. Any advice?

If you have a lot of ponies, then you should be able to fill up your canterlot shops very easily as long as you built up stars for them although mane6 can't work in the canterlot shops. For ponyville shops, you need to spread your ponies across the shops you have built to produce more shards. If you want to cut the time off, then you just go with the cheapest moneymaking which is the top item on the shop menu.

 

If you have a lot of hearts and don't have any ponies that requires hearts, you can convert every 30 hearts for a chance of shards and gems and of course this would require having a lot of friends and pressing the share button after your score have been tallied in Equestria Girls dance mini-game. Hearts are a lot easier to get as long as you have a lot of Friends and play equestria girls dance mini-game with your friends.

 

Most of my Elements of Harmony Shards have been maxed except for Magic Shards. My Advice is that you should probably unlock the elements of harmony first before you use the shards on the parasprites and changelings.
