Tigue looked at the unicorn guard....Ahhhhh...Fine. Takes his weapons off and gives them to the guard. Surge takes all off all but one. Im sorry but as a leader i respect your laws, but i must also defend and be armed at all times. I hope you can honor that one wish.

The guard paused for a moment to think. "Very well, but I must require you to show me the weapon you will be keeping with you. Your companions must submit all their weapons, no more exceptions." He replied to Surge as he collected Fatigue's weapons checking each one.

Surge nods his head and stretches his arm out. He flicks his arm and a blade comes out by his hoof. This will be the only weapon i need be with me. But i shall keep it in its sheath at all times. Pulling it back in. I would give you Fatigue as well but i think that would be a bit much for you guys. Oh shut up Surge. There thats all of them. With a pile of weapons in front of him. No its not Tigue. You and i both know that. Agggggg....Pulls a blade off the back of his neck by the base of his main. There....happy now.

The two armed guards jumped back away from the gem when it exploded. "Gah! My eyes!" They shook their heads, distracted. The third one had dove for the horn next to the cave. When the gem exploded, he blew into the horn. This resulted in a startled yelp going into the horn, which produced a warning note. A clammer could be heard inside as the farmers gathered weapons, coming to help the guards.

 

Velnir sighed, and untied his knife from his pack. If he was loathe to give that up, his sickle he practially plunged into the pile. Next came his poisons pouch. Then he put his unicorn healing magic seals onto the pile, just in case they really were dangerous.

Sapphire instantly knew she was in a really bad situation the moment she heard the horn. She saw where the rest of the team was hiding, she decided to run the opposite direction giving them time to escape. She teleported a few meters away, her teleportation spell not that strong and she began to run towards the only other place, the main city. Sapphire knew capture was a high probability. She needed to find a place to hide, fast.

 

The unicorn guard collected the weapons. "Follow us." He instructed. They went towards the palace. At the entrance they stopped. "Wait here." He said as he made his way towards Vinyl in the palace. The other three guards watched the group cautiously.

Velnir did as he was told, waiting for the guard. He looked over at a strange bush, and his eyes widened. I thought those were extinct! If they have them, that means... he looked away quickly, hoping they didn't know what they had.

 

The armed guards re-oriented and saw Sapphire run towards the village. "After them!" The unarmed one stopped a couple, saying, "It could be a diversion, stay and guard the cave." He retrieved his seeds.

Sapphire quickly looked around. There was no way else aside from the village. She had a decision surrender to capture or go down fighting. The latter would probably result in her death. She made her decision and stood there. She didn't want to lose her spear and dagger. She tried one of her experimental spells. Her horn glowed and her spear, saddlebag and dagger were surrounded by magic. After a few seconds later they vanished. "I just hope I can retrieve them later." She mumbled to herself. She turned to the earth pony guards chasing her. "I surrender!" She shouted out.

The ponies surrounded her, knives and pitchforks drawn. "Where are her weapons? She had them just a minute ago." "Maybe she destroyed them." "Did you see her spear? She wouldn't have destroyed that! It must have cost a ton." "She's a Unicorn. I bet she gets that for free. They all have flairs for the dramatic." "Unicorn, state your name, and subject yourself to the hoofcuffs. Otherwise, we will kill you." The earth ponies produced a pair of ancient-looking hoofcuffs. They had weird writings around the edge. The person handling them looked old, and he approached her slowly.

"I'm Sapphire Shine, and I just said I surrender so feel free to hoof-cuff me." Sapphire said with a slight sarcastic tone in her voice. She studied the earth ponies. Their weapons seemed crude and old, so does the hoof-cuffs they were about to put on her.

 

The guard unicorn exited the castle. "Unfortunately, our leader isn't here right now." He told the earth ponies.

Cherry Blossom was still in the Greylight's room, patiently waiting for something to do. She just sat on a nearby chair and stared at the carpet floor for moments. Tension seemed to be building up and she knew it just wasn't a good sign at all, but was it necessary?

The unicorn diplomat and her pegasus escort walked in absolute silence to the pegasus capital of Pegalopolis. When they got there, the escort asked for permission to bring Vinyl to Commander Hurricane. The messenger then flew to the room that the commander was in and knocked on the door. "Ma'am, a unicorn is here to see you. Should I send her up?"

 

"Yes, send her up."

Greylight felt like hugging Martin, but with a unicorn coming in and Cherry in the room, things would get awkward very fast.

"Cherry, be prepared to take notes. And if things flair up into a fight, run. Don't hesitate, just run, ok? And Martin..."

She looked at him and smiled.

"Just stand right there."

Well it is upsetting. We come all this way for them not to be here. But tell me do you know when they will be back? Id rather not go back home without an answer. And im sure It would not be a problem if we stayed here till they return. So your telling us we came all this way for them not to be here? Forget this Surge lets just take the city in the name of the EPK. Fatigue silence. We are not here to start war we are here to make sure i does not happen. But like i was saying im sure it would not be a problem if we stay as guest in the palace till your leader returns?

 

Windscar had just got back from stretching her wings. She heard all the commotion and returned to town hall. I hope no one saw me flying around. Ill just stay here till everything blows over.

The Earth Kingdom had a short meeting with the Unicorns a while back and I'm not sure if she'd notice who I am but I don't want to take any chances."

I'd like to keep my true alliance a secret as long as possible so I won't take it off until I know who we're meeting and that he or she won't be able to identify me" he took a seat on a plush chair near Greylight's desk

Greylight froze up when she heard Vinyl's words. She finally broke free seconds later, but it felt a lot longer.

"Yes, it is quite unfair for our two nations. I was just thinking about attacking the Earth Ponies and forcing them to give in to my demands. You are quite welcome to have your army join mine."

She didn't like what she was saying, but she couldn't reveal Martin then and there. That would ruin everything.

Star Rain was frozen on the spot for a minute. When she saw a strong-looking armed farmer coming toward her, she took off running as fast as she could around the border of the village. The tip of her horn glowed cyan as she readied a magical blast to be fired at anypony who decided to try and attack her.

Cherry Blossom noticed Vinyl Blade coming in and so she smiled at her, but faintly so Martin and Greylight wouldn't notice. "I-I think it would be very nice for us to come together..." she realized she spoke out of turn in front of officials, so she quickly became silent. After all, she was just a young mailmare.

The pony holding the cuffs put them on. The text on them glowed, and Sapphire felt as though her magic disconnected from her body. It was still their, just unusable. Her gear, still being fed invisibility by her disconnected magic, remained invisible.

 

Velnir sighed, "Surge, remind me why we decided to take Fatigue? Every word out of his mouth makes me want to hit him in the back of the head. Or call him stupid. Or both."

"Noted. Now step aside. There's a particular warmonging arsonist I wish to smack in the back of the head." He glared at Fatigue over Surge, "What's the matter Tigue-y, you miss your little plaything? Well, let's see how tough you are without your weapons. Without leather straps. What 'torture methods' shall we test without equipment?" he spat.

Vinyl gave a quick smile towards Cherry, then spoke to the commander. "That is what I was planning on. When will you be deploying your troops?" Vinyl looked at the fourth entity in the room. He seemed... Familiar. "And may I ask who this is? I should be able to know whose presence I am speaking in."
