Insomnica Exclusions

 

So here you are, still awake, staring at the bright, but still rather faint glow, emanating from the computer screen.

 

So you say you should do one more thing before heading off to the dreamscapes.

So another thing you want to do pops up. Naturally, you want to finish it before getting yourself lulled by The Sandman.

 

So another one pops up.

So does another one.

 

So you have no self-control at all, it seems.

And so, "just one more thing" becomes more than "just one more thing". Looking at the clock in your room, it is now 1 AM.

 

Go to bed, and get overwhelmed by tomorrow, whose tiring and personal hell that you have brought upon yourself, is going to punch you in the face. Do a mistake, learn from it, gain experience through your way of life.

 

So you grew a bit smarter that day.

But, really, I like this. It's a true story for a lot of us, I'm sure, and an interesting source of inspiration for writing. I don't usually look at the writing here very often, but your title caught my interest. Is it supposed to be 'Insomnica' as opposed to insomnia, though?

it was supposed to be 'Insomniac', and i misspelled it 'Insomnica'. =P

however, i liked that mispelling, so i kept it.

but insomnia = the inability to sleep,

most teenagers just have messed up sleeping patterns ~
