Can someone please tell me exactly what genre of music this is? I don't want to call it dubstep, and I don't think it's techno either.

Also, this is the first attempt of mine at this kind of music, so don't be surprised if it isn't all that spectacular :/

It sounded very retro to me, like 16-bit Genesis era. If I knew how to program games, I'd use this. Although I think it might need a little bit more speeding up, but that's just me. I like it :]

I love pachbell's cannon so you get points for that right away. The texture sounds nice, really rich and saturated. In the beginning it sounds really warm and really reassuring. There's probably all sorts of possibilities when you start playing with those big saturated tones.

Though if you're gonna make more music, I wouldn't worry too much about genres, they're not that important.

I think this comes under classic electronica. Thats what it most resembles in style to me really. Definitely make more either way.

Feels like 16-bit music mixed with Ballad. I can tell it's Pachbell's cannon, with that Late 80's New wave Arpeggio, along with some basic electronic drums. Sounds like something someone would put together in FL Studio or something.
