A lot of the costs have been heavly subsdized already (even when goal is met, company will still have a -2000$ balance on project).

 

25$ for one plush (including shipping for inside the US.)

Didn't want to leave anyone out of the loop. It's a quick project by bronies to let everyone get something that isn't sub-demonic.

Actually working on international shipping but... it costs so much, an extra 40$ and that's with the company eatting 25% of the shipping costs. Unless someone is willing to spend that much more for it.

Well 65 bucks for a Luna plush that is almost imposible to get here is not as bad. But is there a way you can get it via US mail? I think is cheeper no one gets % of the money and Ill take all the charge for it. Even the insurance if it is needed.

Is it not showing up underneth the shirts? The mouse pads are the same images as the shirts. There should be an image of the Luna with her cloak on for mousepad example.

mousey pad $15 extra. I don't control the manufacturing process of those, or the shirts, so I was unable to drop the price to at cost like the plush. That's why the plush itself is so cheap (15$)+(10 shipping and overhead). The 10$ pays for the (overhead) facility and the personal I'm borrowing from local aerospace company, who also gave me a huge break. Have to sort everything out, package, transport and ship them. Even when order size goes up, shipping will remain the same. It's part of what is being subsidized.

After seeing so many sad posts about people wanting a decent plush but not being able to get one saddened me. This has been an ongoing project from Reddit for a few months. Even if this project does fail, I still have my own Luna plush, so it was worth the risk!

 

When this was first planned, I was actually on the phone with Hasbro to get a license when I found out online they had just granted FunriseToys sole access to make plushies. So I waited, when I saw the horror I was quite unhappy that Hasbro let that slip. Then I realized they don't care about product quality as long as it sells.

Under the current system, even if someone picked reward #1 and gave 40$ and live in the US. Automaticly you get a higher reward, so in this case they would get 2 plush instead of one.

 

There will always be email confermation before hand to make sure you dont want something else, like mouse the pad. So if someone donated 1500$ and checked off reward #1.... they better have room for 100 luna's because that's what is being shipped lol.

Of course! The carbonfiber gives it spring. The head band also has a thin layer of foam on inside (to keep Luna comfortable)

 

Also this image doesn't exist. http://i.imgur.com/AsghA.jpg The back "emblems" thread is slightly iridescent so it changes color depending on viewing angle from Black to Indigo" (edit: Reason is, sometimes her emblem was black, sometimes it was indigo, couldn't decide which one to pick... so we picked both! Hoping the company is still going to be able to secure more of the thread.)

A lot of time is from Kickstarter itself. Takes 14 days they say for funds to be cleared. Then I can tell the manufacter overseas to make it. They say they need 30day clear time. At which point it gets shipped frieght... what can take 1-2 weeks. This gives me time to prepare all the shipment slips, dubble check with speical requests etc.

 

Shipping costs so much, it's why I didnt have international option at first. Doubt anyone would pay that much. $60 extra for international. ($40 for Canada and Mexico) Customs and base rates take up so much. This is with cheapest option I could find meaning its frieght and from past shippments takes 2-3 weeks!!!!

Sorry for taking so long to respond, been quite busy as you could imagine. So I shall make up for it with a wall mountain of text.

 

All you have to do EXACTLY, is "donate" 25$ to the kickstarter project. Shipping inside US is included!

 

It is done through Amazon, it is their security system, kickstarter doesn't actually obtain your card information either, nor do I. You are not charge until the project end date is done. This means, if the project was to be stopped from some outside force, you shall receive 100% refund.

 

Timely fashion, it's not exactly so fast. However I'm being completely transparent during this operation so everyone can keep track of where we stand. A good chunk of this operation is not in my hands as I shall explain.

 

First, once the project is done, I don't get the ability to forward funds for about 14 days!!! Then once they are finally unlocked, it shall take another 30 days+ for manufacturer to produce them. Once again, we have to wait for shipping, they will shipped via boat, taking another 2-3 weeks to get from their company to mine.

 

However once it does get to mine, things go much faster. Since while waiting, this allows me to setup all the shipping ahead of time. So once the plushies come in, I just drop the correct number into each box and off they go. Currently by the numbers, that stage should take only 1 day. Then it has to get shipped back out to you, which could be another 1-3 days.

 

You might have noticed, there is a lot in this time frame where I have no control. The most I can do is report what the companies are telling me, such as: when it's going to be shipped from them, est times.

 

As for your guarantee, sadly there is none except a pinkie promise. You are guaranteed your money back if the project gets canceled through automatic means. But here is where it's a double edge sword, if it wasn't a donation, I wouldn't be able to pull this off legally. Donations by stature are a gift, and I'm gifting back. I understand that this is a leap of faith. Therefore I made the risk for you a mere hop, skip and a… flat 25$.

 

As a designer by trade, this project being successful will allow me to have more credibility to orchestrate larger and more complex projects. Hence I do have an incentive for this to work and if I can make a few bronies happy along the way, why not?

I've done a lot of scouring of information you gave us, and I would just like to say thanks for what you're doing! I almost hope Hasbro does catch wind of what's going on here. Maybe then they will realize just how much they're missing out on. We Bronies are very profitable, and they're only barely scratching the surface with products such as Hot Topic lines and Derpy toys. Plushies are by far the biggest fan-made sellers, and the demand is INCREDIBLE. Plushies like yours pictured sell from anywhere between $150-250 on Ebay. The princesses have always been very good sellers.

 

I doubt you will come to much harm legally. I have an awesome high quality Crackle plushie that's a part of a line that NO ONE can identify where they're coming from. Probably someone else working under professional nonlicensed means.

 

My only question before I sign onto this project. Could we get a picture of her cutie... Er, I mean her cute moon-marked rump?
