Unsually Warm Weather for December

Rolls Royce

Recommended Posts

Another Okie, upper 70s as of right now. While I don't want a rerun of the 3 feet of snow in 2 weeks that we got winter before last, I'd kind of like to be able to break out the sweaters once and for all. I haven't touched them since a trip to Cleveland a couple weekends ago.

Greetings from Owensboro Kentucky, where it is currently December 3rd, and 74 degrees. Is it unusually warm for anyone else right now, or is it just where I am?

Minnesota, where I am, it is about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It is usually about 20-27 degrees. I didn't need to wear a jacket today! Or a sweat jacket!

It was very foggy yesterday night, I couldn't see the house across the street...

It's called global warming, hide yo kids, hide yo wife.

Not really unusual weather, here. Back in June when Summer was around, it came on fast from Spring and was super, super hot. But now winter is here, with snow and the works. Plus, they're saying it's going to be an intense winter. So, relatively normal where I am xD

Back in my hometown in Indiana, it was also around 72 degrees and sunny.  However, both here and back there, it's going to get in the 40's next week.  I'm enjoying this warm weather while I can.

Indiana. 70 degrees and humid. So humid that my Pinkie Pie hair went all poofy.

Call me crazy, but I'd prefer snow. Why?

Hair stays tame. AND I want to wear my scarves and not suffocate.

75 ish here in Oklahoma. I couldn't be happier. I am not a fan of the cold.Though these constant fluctuations in temperature are driving peoples sinuses crazy.

My sinuses are screaming. One moment, I can't breathe. The next, my nose is running off my face. Running off my face and into the sunset.

Love and tolerate, and live by it.

No, this is not a Hallmark card. I'm just incredibly sappy. ^o^

The best revenge is happiness.

I think it got up into the 60s in southeastern PA today.  Unseasonably warm weather?  Yes, and I intend to enjoy it while it lasts.  Once the jet stream shifts to the south, we'll be in the deep freeze!

It's about 32°C (89°F) where I am in Brisbane, Australia at the moment. Today It's expected to get up to 38 °C (104°F) though, so yeah, they weren't kidding about Global Warming tongue.png

Unusually warm weather for December? Where I live everybody's like freaking out about it being in the mid 70s, yet it happens every year. If there's a December where it doesn't get up close to 80 sometime during the month, that's an odd December.

Just to give you an idea of how ridiculous people are being about this... A couple of weeks ago we hit 78 degrees (big surprise *rolls eyes*) and I happened to pass by the TV with local news on. The local newscasters, being entirely serious, were talking about how crazy it was. And said "We had to go all of the way back to 2010 to see the last time we hit this temperature on this date". No sarcasm whatsoever.

It's as if they're completely blind to how ridiculously warm our winters are in reality.
