Wow... this is really your first time?

 

Anyways, It's splendid. You got the MLP style of Twi down wonderfully. ^^

 

But perhaps you should have a little cleaner lines. It's a little all over the place and uneven. But you can easily fix that with some vector straight/perfect curved line brushes.

Thanks, haha. Ponies inspired me to start drawing. I made about 7 drawings and sketches over the last two days to practice but these two are the ones I'm most proud of. I ordered a bamboo splash tablet so hopefully that'll fix the wobbly lines. Thanks for the feedback!

I know that I am not artistically inclined myself. Honestly I wish I could draw or do art in some form because stuff like this is Awesome.  

And to Drahgoon: Having the courage to post images of your drawings is cool. It inspires me to work on my own form of artistic expression.

Merged this post into the first one. This used to contain the fluttershy drawing, but I decided it would be better for all my art to be in the first post. More organized that way.

Very nice, Though some of the edges are a bit rough.  And it has a very 2D feeling, though its a 3D position.  (The first one that is.)  They are both pretty good though.

Thanks! I have no idea why the first one looks so 2D. Might be the background. I guess I could do requests. Give me a reference picture and a pose and I could try my best at it. I'll draw them when I have time, what with sports, symphony and homework to work on.

Haven't drawn anything in a few days so I took some time to draw Celestia. Wings are the hardest for me to grasp hold of. Also didn't know how to make the mane shiny so i just threw some luminosity on there. I also didn't notice how pink she was until I was done. Enjoy!

 

Practiced some Twilight and lighting. I still shade very messily since I'm not confident in my skills to make solid shadows. Took about two and a half hours.

After watching the new episode I just HAD to draw Dash in the Wonderbolt training uniform. Wings are still a sore spot for me, as well as shading. It all looks very messy to me. Oh well. Hopefully when I get my tablet it'll look better. 

Decided to draw AJ after watching the latest episode. This was also my fastest drawing yet, taking about an hour total. I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this

Thanks! I know you'll get better as time goes on. Good practice would be doing the artist training ground challenges on Equestria Daily every Tuesday/Wednesday. They give valuable practice as well as a subject to draw.

 

This drawing started out as a sketch, but the more I drew the more I liked it. The head was the hardest thing to draw, since this is an awkward angle that I don't usually see in the show. Enjoy!

Thanks! I can definitely see improvement from my old drawings, even though it hasn't been all that long.

 

Also, good news everypony! My tablet finally arrived after being delayed a few days because of heavy snowfall in our area. I never would have gotten this into drawing if it wasn't for all the encouragement these forums have given me. I drew this up quickly to say thanks for everything you guys have done for me. Look forward to more drawings to come!

Wow very good mate. Props. -Golf clap- Now at this point I would critique you, but in all honesty there's really nothing to critique. I mean it's all just nitpicking little stuff. But no overall glaring errors I can find. Very well done! 'specially considering they're all mouse drawn. That's pretty tough to do (: Look forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks for the compliments  . This art is quite old and I've improved since, but I'm still proud of how they look despite using a mouse.  I do indeed have a deviantART!
