Favorite so far: Sleepless in Ponyville

 

Scootaloo's trying to looks cool in front of RD and failing horribly. Sweetie Belle screamed at the top of her lung at the end of her song. RD in a girly sleeping bag and snoring like a hippo. Sisterly loves. Oh, and I believe there is a Luna cameo somewhere in there.

 

Least favorite: One Bad Apple

 

I hate bullying. I don't really care if you were bullied yourself, if you're willing to lower yourself like that, you ain't better than them, even after you apologized. Big no no.

Well I mean I know not everyone likes the CMC, some people find them quite annoying. Maybe they just rubbed off on them the wrong way, they're entitled to their opinions as I am mine .

I never used to be a fan of the CMCs at first (or Scootaloo for that matter), but after One Bad Apple, they all grew on me, and after Sleepless in Ponyville, Scoots has become my fave lil' pony. :3

I agree with you on Sleepless in Ponyville.

 

However in One Bad Apple I don't think the CMCs should have called themselves bullies.. correctly, a bully picks and picks over and over again deliberately... they were just trying to get back at her for bullying them. But I was happy at the end when they all made friends. So I forgive them.

I liked the Crystal Empire episodes the most so far, mainly because it's the only episode that didn't have anything that bothered me, aside from Too Many Pinkie Pies, but I still like the Crystal Empire more.

 

Least favorite is probably Sleepless in Ponyville, because I just don't care that much about Scootaloo :\

Ohh! My apologies. I totally misunderstood you there.

I don't think it was Babs' own fault that she went to that level, she was just scared, and we do strange things when we're scared. Yeah, at first I wanted to punch her face for going on Diamond Tiara and Silverspoon's side, but afterwards I felt sympathetic towards her because, well, like I said, she was frightened. And I like how they made friends anyway, because, in most all episodes, a lesson is to learnt and a pony is forgiven. (excluding Griffon the Brush-off, Wonderbolts Academy, I'm sure there's a few others...)

Dude, that's like the only problem I had with One Bad Apple, and I totally agree, Babs deserved to get her come-up-ins, and the fact that the CMC regretted that bothered me.

Sleepless in Ponyville was a stunner and may very well be the best episode of Season 3 when it's all said and done. It was wonderfully written, it recaptured the wonder of the earlier episodes, and it gave the fandom what they wanted without being too obvious about it.

 

Least favorite...I'd have to say Magic Duel. The more I reflect on it the less impressed I am. From the 40 minutes of story it tried to fit into 20, to how inefficiently that time was used, from the predictable story to the evil artifact that made one appearance with no explanation...the only thing well thought-out about this episode was the nods to the bronies, and those were so obvious as to be borderline irritating. It did not disappoint me on the level of the Two Wells (Owl's Well and Mare Do Well ), but it left me cold in a way the show never has before, and I hope it never will again.

Wonderbolt acadamy was just awful. Completely awful, worst and least memorable s3 episode yet. I can never relate to RD episodes.

There aren't any really bad episodes for me... I loved all of them but if it was a must to choose i'd choose these:

 

My favourite would be: Magic duel - I loved the fact of trixies return, it was a funny episode aswell with a good lesson that power can corupt you aswell.

 

Least Favourite: To many pinkie pies - It was a really fun episode, the only reason i'd choose this as my least favourite is because it was a little, un-logical and to random...

Favorite Episode (so far)- Magic Duel

I really love this episode. I feel that with every subsequent viewing it gets better and better. I always discover something new from a sight gag, to nods to previous episodes. I love when shows do that XD. Everypony was spot on and even though the episode was centered around Trixie and Twilight, Fluttershy nearly stole the spotlight IMO (Her sneaking outfit omg ...HHHHNNNNGGGG and DAWWSSSS every time lol). Sure the episode felt a little rushed, and everyone may not agree with the conclusion, but for what it is, I am certainly not afraid to give it a 10/10   .

 

Least Favorite Episode (so far)- Wonderbolt Academy

This is not a bad episode, it really isn't. I just feel like they were playing it very safe. This is the 1st episode of S3 that hasn't blown me away and it was bound to happen sooner or later. I enjoyed Dashie (best pony btw  -_-) as well as the whole episode in general, but there are some glaring problems that prevent it from being excellent. The other 5 ponies felt like filler that was not needed (PinkieDash ftw though) and the ending really left me wanting more. Is Rainbow still in the Wonderbolts or not?

 

...When I think about it more, maybe the episode is left open-ended like this on purpose to leave for fan interpretations.

 

This was Merriwether Williams first season 3 episode, and after her questionable performance in season 2 with Mysterious Mare Do Well, Hearths Warming Eve, Putting Your Hoof Down, and Dragon Quest, this has to be her best one of them all.

 

Again, this episode is not bad, far from it in fact. I just find it good, but not excellent. Maybe my opinions will change with subsequent watchings, but for now my tentative score for this episode is 7.5/10.

I didn't vote it for Luna. I'm hardly a huge fan of Luna at all.

But I think that's probably one of the main reasons why it's got the most votes.

To me Bad Apple was the best episode for me. I love Babs Seed so much after her appearance on the show. I love how at the end she became CMC. 

 

The worst episode for me would probably have to be Magic Duel. It just rubbed on me in the wrong kinda way, I just can't figure out why yet.

Favorite: Magic Duel

 

This was an all-around fantastic episode. Twilight was absolutely awesome with her ability to perform magic as well as using her limitations to her advantage. Magic isn't all about physicality, but mentality. Although she can be impulsive and frustrated if something goes awry, she's extremely intelligent. Her method of having Trixie taking off the Alicorn Amulet was extremely clever. Plus, Zecora was extremely well-written with her rhymes, and M. A. Larson cleverly weaved in the Star Wars reference in it. But Trixie stole the show: antagonistically corrupted, and she received significant character development. It eclipsed Party of One as my most favorite episode in the entire series.

 

Least favorite: The Crystal Empire, Part 2

 

All of season 3 has been nothing short of great, but TCE2 is the weakest. Although we were spoiled quite a bit for Part 1, it developed a great foundation for Part 2. However, Part 2 in some fashion fell a tad flatter with the scenes jumping a bit here or there; and Sombra's fantastic concept and foundation crept WAY too slowly because he did and said little. The three highlights were:

1. Twilight reassuring Spike that she would never abandon him
2. Twilight trusting Spike in the Crystal Heart
3. The wife toss. 'Nuff said.

I loved Sleepless in Ponyville, because the relationship between RD and Scootaloo, was just so sweet. I also liked seeing a kinder and more sisterly side of Rainbow Dash. And of all the CMC, Scootaloo is my least favorite, because she's kind of rude but that episode changed my opinion of her.

 

I put down 'Too Many Pinkies' as my least favorite but I think I'll change that to the Crystal Empire Pt. 2. I mean I wanted to see more of King Sombra man! Maybe a little flashback from the point of view of one of the crystal ponies!

I'm not sure I really like the crystal empire episodes. No offence to twi but I don't like her too much and I'm not keen on her. I like it how spike saves the day tho! That's cute! :3 I LOVED sleepless in ponyville because I thought scootaloo was stuck up and mean but this one shows her soft side. Dashie does too <3

I've loved all of season three thus far! Magic Duel was my favourite 'cause, y'know, ermahgerd Trixie!!! I suppose my least favourite would be One Bad Apple, which I also loved. I dunno I guess overall it's just my least favourite... for some reason. Ahhh I've loved it all!!! Why must you make me choose like this?

Favorite is the one with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, followed closely by the wonderbolt episode

 

Least favorite is the pinkie pie one, just thought it was kinda lame.  Even though it was pretty clever
