->Twilight Sparkle would probably like Stand and Deliver.  It's about a math teacher's unorthodox teaching methods that lead to successes in a poor school district.  With her being into learning and all, I think that it would be a great fit for her.  

->Rainbow Dash would like Superbad.  It kind of fits her.  

->I can't imagine Fluttershy liking anything that isn't nature oriented.  I think she'd like March of the Penguins.

In case you want to know, my 28-minutes later edit was solely to change Pinkie's movie from "Fantasia" to basically a fourth wall/meta reference.

 

As for what character would like 28 Days Later (same director as 127 Hours) I haven't actually seen the movie, so... um Chrysalis?

 

Notice how Rainbow Dash likes the most recent/contemporary movie of the Mane 6 by about nine years.

Twilight would most likely enjoy either documentaries or nerdy sci-fi and fantasy. Probably both. She would probably prefer reading, though.

 

Rainbow Dash would probably enjoy action movies, from The Fast and the Furious to Indiana Jones.

 

Pinkie Pie would like comedies and upbeat movies. She'd love Wreck-It Ralph and the Spongebob Squarepants Movie.

 

Rarity, being the British daughter of two rednecks, would probably like the classics.

 

Applejack would be somewhat similar to Dashie. She'd probably like action and adventure. She'd also be into westerns. The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

RD= Fast & furious. Any racing movie is likely to please her.

FS= Gran Torino. I bet Flutters would like a movie about two strangers getting over their differences and becoming friends.

PP= Bruno. That movie was extremely hilarious, and the cheapness of the romance might be a favorite for Pinkie.
