Have I missed the golden days of the fandom?

Judging by MLP's popularity, it would be a stupid move for Hasbro to cancel after Season 3. That being said, they have to keep the quality of the episodes to an acceptable level, obviously. Should they fail to do so, and ratings go down, THEN we'll start to worry about the downfall of FiM. Other than that, from what I've seen, the show and fandom is still going strong! Besides, Season 3 was only 13 episodes because, allegedly, it is supposed to leave more room for better seasons in the future. Here's hoping that's true.

Gotta learn stuff through denial and error.

I don't think this fandom is even old enough to even have a "Golden Age" phase yet. It's been like, what, two years since it started? Two and a half? It's still a babe and still has time to grow and mature.Anyways...

Speaking as fan of FiM since October 2011,I personally still enjoy the show. It's getting better each season in my opinion, and can only get better from here on out.Plus,we got tons of charities going on,conventions, not to mention metric tons of art, literature, and music...hell,we even got a documentary,a fan-made episode, and a movie based on a fanfic in the works. This is literally one of the best fandoms I've seen in a while, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Pfffttt...the fandom is perfectly fine XP this is certainly becoming quite a big deal to a lot of people xD like with that video saberspark recently posted.

It really doesn't make sense, the fandom I say is doing fine. Yes, many people have their own opinions on the show and say the show is, "Going down hill" since apparently since some say Season 3 is bringing down the show, along with the fandom...which is a whole bunch of nonsense.

If you say the show is going down hill, that's your opinion. Even when the show is done, the fandom will still be around =P /)

theres no "golden days" of the fandom. That sounds like a term invented by the group of elitists that have been with it since Day 1 and are annoyed that it blew up and became massively popular. like their favorite hole-in-the-wall pub suddenly became popular and its "not like it used to be". Golden Days can only exist after something has died or completely lost its way, and as far as im concerned, MLP is still running strong.

the fandom gets better everyday since it continues to grow. more people means a larger fanbase, and that brings in new fanart, new fanfic, new music, and new merchandise for everyone else. theres no bad here, only good.

I think that the fandom is doing just as great as it has ever been, as well as the show. People are still churning out wonderful works of music, animation and other forms of art. We are still bustling in our many meet ups and websites, so I can't say that we aren't as great as we were before.

Buck no you haven't, son! As somepony who got in late to the game, I was truly surprised that bronies completely lived up to everything I've heard about them being friendly, kind, creative, and treating the entire fandom as a family.

The show's only gotten better and better since it started, in animation, character development, and stories...and the fandom has stayed as awesome as always, what with the awesome people and artists pumping out art better than any of that from the Rennaissance era, stories to rival their published counterparts, and music that's better than all the mainstream songs combined.

The golden days aren't a thing of the past. They're just getting started.

As someone who missed the golden age of the Powerpuff Girls, I can assure you the golden days of the MLP fandom are still going strong and probably hasn't even peaked yet.
