After a moment Hop wrapped her own hooves around him. She still felt vulnerable but having Aarod there was helping some so Hop pulled even closer, trying to get as close as possible. Hop realized that she had involuntarily ruffled the feathers on her wings, and let them lay flat again. She looked into Aarods' eyes for a full five seconds before she leaned in and locked lips with him... 

 

Aarod wasn't used to another pony being so close to him, but he wasn't complaining. He could have sat staring into her own eyes all night, but she leaned in and kissed him. Without even realizing it he started to kiss back, loving the moment. I really do like her alot. His mind kept thinking over and over again.

Cello Opal didn't know where to go. She had come to find romance, as she knew many stallions would come, but it seemed that it would stay a normal party. She didn't see any stallions who wanted to talk, and she certainly didn't want to interrupt anything they were doing. She decided to begin walking along the lake, to see if a stallion didn't seem to be doing anything.

Draco walked to the lake and saw a mare strolling alone. He had to get away from those two. He strolled up to her "Hello miss how are you this fine night?" Draco asked kindly as he looked at her. "How rude of me. My name is Draco O'mally of O'mally delivery services,"

Cello Opal was surprised to find her wish to be fulfilled so quickly. It was great to finally talk to somepony during the party. "My name is Cello Opal," she replied, returning a look just as kind and polite. "Have you been enjoying this night so far?" Her gaze wandered to the lake, which seemed like a shot from a vacation website, completely and utterly beautiful, and she looked back at Draco.

She had done to Draco exactly what she was afraid of. "Im sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I... oh Celsestia..." she pushed herself a little from Aarod and looked at the floor. He had admitted that he loved her and now look at her. *Buck, Draco. Why did you have to do this to me?* she thought now hating herself. "I need to go talk to him." she said quietly getting off the bench to go look for Draco.

 

"I will be here waiting Hip." Aarod said, sighing just a little. "Oh and be careful, if he does anything, tell me. Oh and Hop, I really like you." he finished. He didn't know if it was a good time to be saying this or not. Oh I hope she returns, that feeling was great. Him mind was racing with thoughts like these as he leaned his head against the wall and watched her walk away.

"Hello." Star Keeper trotted up to the lone colt, offering out a hoof. "My names Star Keeper. I just got ditched by some other mare so I though I'd just talk to you."

 

Star shuffled nervously. "So, who's your marefriend? She seems cute. Forgive me, I'm just curious, that's all." He instantly retracted from what he said, still not very comfortable in his own metaphorical shoes.

Cello Opal covered her muzzle in surprise and pity for the stallion in front of him who now looked at the stars, and he almost seemed like he was reliving the past. She instinctively put her hoof on his back for mild comfort, as she didn't quite know what to do. She didn't want it to look like she was what she wasn't like the Sana he had been talking about. She looked out over the lake, her own past also flashing before her in the lake as a false reflection, showing the hate between her elder brothers, Angel Opal and Demon Opal, as well as the differences between all her other family members. She moved her hoof and hooked it around his neck, something her parents had always done to comfort her, and frankly, it had always been a way to pull her away from the bad things around her.

Peachy Pie was slightly taken aback by Quip's statement. "What in the hay are ya talkin about your no good fer anypony?" She questioned him. "Yer one of the best stallions ah ever met in mah life." She said coming next to him and placing a hoof on his shoulder. "And if ah ever learned anything from mah cousin Pinkie it's that everypony deserves a friend." she told him as she pulled him in for a hug.

It was easy to see the venom in his voice when talking about Draco. He really didn't like how he had hurt Hop. Of course he didn't know if he had hurt her, he just thought Draco had. "Oh and where are my manners, the name is Aarod Brachuin."

Hop made het way around the castle looking for Draco. *Buck, where is he?* she thought desperately. When she made her way to the lake she found him and was about to call out bu then saw the mare with her hooves around his neck. Her heart dropped and she couldnt move, her face with disbelieve writen on it. *How? How could he forget about me so quickly?* she quietly sat down trying to think about what she was seeing.

He chuckled as he looked at Little Hop slightly "By that look you think I've forgotten you no but you have forgotten me for that instence didn't you. You abandoned me and ran away never letting me tell you my feelings for you. Then you have the nerve to scold me for trying to joke around," Draco said as he began to feel tightness in his chest. "Where is it," Draco said as he looked through his delivery bag looking for his inhalor.

Cello Opal eyed a white piece of plastic that looked like an inhaler, a few bits and even a watch laying on the ground, as she realized there had been a small hole in his saddlebag they had slipped out of. She quickly bent over and picked them up, telling Draco, "Here are your things, in case you're looking for any of them." She held them out for him, examining Little Hop from her side view. She didn't look that bad of a pony as Draco had just been describing, but she noticed she most have misinterpreted the view of her hoof around Draco's neck. Is comfort a terrible thing these days?

Cascade decided that Styles must not have heard her, and turned back to Ace, still holding his hoof loosely. She spoke the single word aloud, "Descant?" 

 

She then seemed to be mouthing a conversation with the thin air for a moment, and when it appeared her silent conversation was finished, she turned back to Ace. Her voice actually sounded this time as she asked, "Well, the DJ has recommended a few songs to dance to, but wants to know how you like to dance before he puts one on."

Draco grabbed his inhalor uickly and breathed in his medicine "Sorry about that Cello I have asthma," Draco said as he llooked at his delivery bag and sighed "I should have seen that coming.," he chuckled slightly "My night isn't going so well for me," he said while shruging. He pulled out a talisman from his bag which had the zebra letter for fix. He place it onto his bag after he took it off. "Now I need to wait 3 minutes for the magic in the talisman to work,"

"I've been to a few parties myself funny enough. Unsurprisingly they all turn out the same way; drama. If I had one piece of advice, watch out for that Draco fella. I know him and honestly I wouldn't trust him any further than you can throw him."

Hop just looked at Draco with sad eyes unsure of what to say. But what he said was true, and she felt terrible for it too. She probably didn't deserve him at the moment but he was a little rude towards Aarod. "I know..." she began in a quiet voice, "And im sorry. I should have let you have a chance, but I was scared that what I did to you would happen to me. I feel bad for it, and I want to give you back that chance." She looked over at the mare again shyly trying to avoid her eyes.

Cello Opal's gears immediately started working. She had nothing against the mare in front of them, but Cello felt like Hop had just said what she had done against Draco was not allowed to be done against her, so it should be prevented. It was a strange thing to be heard, and her mind kept going over it, before she noticed another thing about what Hop had said. I want to give you back that chance. She now didn't know what to think! She had betrayed Draco and now she says she's going to give him another chance, as if he did the betraying. She was the one who should be asking for another chance! She turned back to what was going on around her, pushing the thoughts aside for later, and listened to the conversation as it unraveled.

"let me tell you a story about a stallion and a mare who went into the Everfree forrest. There was once a mare and a stallion hopelessly in love okay maybe the stallion was.

 

The mare on the other had only pretended to be in love with the stallion. So then the two walked through the night but the mare decided to lead the stallion into the Everfree forrest. A manticore jumpped out of the thrush. The two ran but the manticore caught up to the two easily. The stallion decided to stall the manticore so his lover can escape.

 

 

Well the fight went as well as you'd expect the stallion got poisoned but still fought and drove off the manticore. Well thanks to a zebra herblist he survived but was knocked out for afew days. When he returned home he found out his so called special somepony had betrayed him and used him," Draco told his story. As he was telling hiis story he slowly un wrapped his green scarf to reviel to jagged scars on each side of his neck.

"let me tell you a story about a stallion and a mare who went into the Everfree forrest. There was once a mare and a stallion hopelessly in love okay maybe the stallion was.

 

The mare on the other had only pretended to be in love with the stallion. So then the two walked through the night but the mare decided to lead the stallion into the Everfree forrest. Hop listened to the story with tears starting to threaten to escape. When he finished Hop felt even worse. "Draco I said im sorry. What else do you want from me? Maybe I should be the one asking for another chance, no I should not maybe." she said the last part out loud unintentionally.

Peachy frowned a bit as Quip continued to look down. She had thought the hug would've cheered him up a bit but to no avail she wasn't as good as her cousin in cheering people up. "Well we all do bad things Quip....even mahself nopony is perfect." Peachy started. "Ah believe that we cud be good friends and even though ah don't know about anything that ya done but i promise ya that i can look past anything ."

Double standards won't work here not with this courier pony. You can't pin the blame on me," Draco said with conviction in his voice. He sighed as he noticed the story had taken up to 3 minutes to tell. He smiled only slightly as he placed everything back into his fixed delivery bag. He then said "Your choice Little Hop don't play with two hearts or you will get burned," draco said with a warning.
