Cascade decided that Styles must not have heard her, and turned back to Ace, still holding his hoof loosely. She spoke the single word aloud, "Descant?"

 

She then seemed to be mouthing a conversation with the thin air for a moment, and when it appeared her silent conversation was finished, she turned back to Ace. Her voice actually sounded this time as she asked, "Well, the DJ has recommended a few songs to dance to, but wants to know how you like to dance before he puts one on." 

"Ohhhhh...uh I should tell you that I can't...dance at all." Ace said looking down at the ground "i should have told you that before so any song will do." Ace looked back up at Cascade.

(OOC: I don't know what song to play lol good thing Ace can't dance his dancing is weaird.)

"Nice to meet you. I presume the situation is... complicated. Don't worry, you're not alone." Star let out a slight chuckle at the thought. "I've been to a few parties myself funny enough. Unsurprisingly they all turn out the same way; drama. If I had one piece of advice, watch out for that Draco fella. I know him and honestly I wouldn't trust him any further than you can throw him."

 

"Draco, so that is his name. I'm just worried that he loves her and she loves him. And if they do I don't want to ruin it. But I am scared he might hurt her. And I love her to." Aarod said. He didn't even realize he was telling this stallion everything. "Should I go after her?" He finally asked Star.

@, Quip looked back at Peachy, only to realize something. "I'm sorry... i feel kinda stupid honestly. I never even gave you a chance and here i am telling you i'm no good... UGH, but that means i'm stupid, and that IS no good, but that means i really am no good, and... I can't really figure it out since my brain is a jumble, but i'm one hundred percent sure that this ends in a paradox!"

"Draco, so that is his name. I'm just worried that he loves her and she loves him. And if they do I don't want to ruin it. But I am scared he might hurt her. And I love her to." Aarod said. He didn't even realize he was telling this stallion everything. "Should I go after her?" He finally asked Star.

"I-I honestly don't know. Does she love you, I mean..." Star rubbed his temples. "I though t I was out of this drama mess. Okay, maybe you should go after her. I honestly wouldn't want to see anypony stuck with a guy like him."

 

Star quickly looked from side to side, checking to see if Draco was actually there. "The guy is a bit of a douche. Just go finds her, I'll be fine."

"Little Hop who was it that ran away without giving the other person a chance. You did. You want to give me another chance . What did I do to you that I lost the chance. Double standards won't work here not with this courier pony. You can't pin the blame on me," Draco said with conviction in his voice. He sighed as he noticed the story had taken up to 3 minutes to tell. He smiled only slightly as he placed everything back into his fixed delivery bag. He then said "Your choice Little Hop don't play with two hearts or you will get burned," draco said with a warning.

Hop was beginning to get flustered. "Draco, please. I really am sorry, and that other pony was just there to help me. I just needed time to think and I told you that but then you attacked him... if you would have given me time none of this would have happened. I care for you. Why do you think youre the only pony I have deliver my packages? And order them so frequently? My storage is so full of tea stuff that I had to start giving it away to others. I just want another chance." Hop knew just how stubborn Draco could be and prayed he wouldn't keep this grudge against her.

Cascade nodded, and smiled softly. "Don't worry. Dancing is easy. I'll make sure you don't embarass yourself too badly." She looked towards the DJ podium, and said, "Put something sorta slow on. Something I can walk him through." The DJ nodded, and put on a moderately-tempoed, instrumental song that sounded vaguely familiar. She took Ace's hooves in her own, lead him onto the clear dance floor, the water under which started shining pink, giving the entire room a warm, romantic glow. She shot the DJ a filthy look, but he merely shrugged. Turning her attention back to Ace, and moving in awfully close to him, to start the dance, she whispered, "trust me," and started a simple waltz. She moved quite as gracefully as she did when she was in the water, and looked quite as happy as when she was in the water, as well.

Draco sighed slightly "Listen attack him I was teasing him. There is a difference you know Little Hop. But fine I can understad," Draco said as he hugged her comfortingly. He let go "Anyhow you better get back to that pervy stallion he might be wondering where his lover has gone," Draco said with a joking tone. He just wanted to relax lately after the changelings had attackeed te last three months were hardon him. He had to deliver supllies to Canterlot, He didn't tell Little Hop because he didn't want her to worry about him.

Peachy looked back at Quip. "No yer not stupid and ya really are good!!." She retorted.  "Ah know that for a fact because when we were playing in the lake together ah was havin one of the best times of mah life." she said. " Ah just wantcha to know that i think yer  cute and........... Ah really like you." she said blushing a little. "Ah know  we just met and all but...." She tried to say something else but the words just  escaped her mind and body until she just said the next few words out of pure instinct. "Ah love you!"

If she wasn't heart broken before she was now. Hops ears dropped and a depressed expression replaced her plea full one. She got up and turned heading back inside with her head hanging low. That was it, he wasn't going to give her another chance and she didn't blame him either. It was her fault to begin with. *I guess I better go find Aaord... maybe I should just ask Cascade if I could go upstairs.* she thought to herself as she made her way back inside.

(I actually find this to be the right amount of 'romance')

Quip was quite literally speechless, the pony he only knew for a few hours... loved him? Maybe she just put those words in the wrong place, or maybe she meant them. It didn't matter to Quip either way, somepony said they liked him, and that's all that mattered. "Peachy I... I think i feel the same way... about you though" he said before a smile plastered to his face. He stood up from the lake edge and hugged Peachy. "I can't tell you how many times i wish those words were said to me in a more meaningful way than 'just friends' before i met you"

Styles led Rockshire through the moves but he noticed that she seemed quite stiff, as if she wasn't fully enjoying herself. He was about to ask her about it but something stopped him. When the song ended he felt that his usual thank you for a nice dance (A kiss on the cheek) would be inappropriate, so he settled for bringing her fore-hoof up and kissing that instead.

Ace was having troble keeping his balance he was constintly looking down to make sure 1) he didn't trip 2) he didn't cause Cascade to trip since she was dancing gracefully while Ace was acting like their were ants on his hooves ok left, right, right-No left!

Aarod who was just about to get up and find out what had happened to Hop, noticed she walked inside. He was milliseconds from jumping up and running to her when he saw how depressed she was. It's over with us, I can just tell. His mind started to tell him. He still stood up and started to walk over to her. "Hop, are you okay?" He asked as soon as he was near her. "Did he hurt you again, do I need to do something?" He continued with more questions. If he had hurt her again, then that pony would be sorry.

Star was getting a bit ill tempered, a bit sick of constantly being run out on. That was the thing about these house parties; no pony seems to have anything on their mind but romance. Seriously, why?

She had faith that Ace would get the hang of the dance eventually. He had potential. But when this was over, she was going to sit down, and get something to drink, and probably beat Descant for putting on such a romantic song for first dance of the evening.

Star toyed with ideas in his head, unsurprisingly GO HOME was popping up more than he liked. He decided to just go outside and get some fresh air, that is what normal ponies seem to do allot. trotting out the door he made his way up to the shore line and simply let the tide lap at his hooves.

She grabbed a glass of punch, knowing full well not to drink too much, and sat on one of the stairs on the Grand Staircase, simply sipping and thinking quietly. She didn't immediately notice anypony else in the room.

You can just forget about it, and... just go." she said poking her hoof into Aarods chest to show that she was talking directly to him, even though there was no one else around. She pushed passed him and went to the punch fountain, getting herself a rather large amount of punch.

 "I understand, and I will leave as soon in a minute. But just a little bit of caution, there is alcohol in that punch and I would  be careful drinking to much if I was you." He said, then turning around and heading outside. He walked along the shore when he spotted the pony he had talked to back inside. He sped walked up beside him and started to walk with. "Hello again Star,I think you said that was your name." He finally said after walking for a few seconds.

She gave them a rather jealous look when Styles kissed Rockshire's hoof.

She took a large gulp and focused on something else. *Humpf.* She thought, Taking another large sip of her punch and staring down at the floor.
