Well thar you go, my first pony. Not too shaby for my first legit try. But one problem, I didn't enjoy it. I think I'll stick to drawing video game characters, I just feel like it's more enjoyable.

Very good for a first try! I can see some proportional errors, but I can see you have a skeleton set up. That helps a ton with the pose. Pinkie's mane is too small in the front and too puffy in the back, and the tail is just too big. Her hooves are also a little too thin, but they're the right length. If you didn't enjoy this, then I would recommend not drawing ponies. Another solution is trying something new. Maybe mix video game characters with ponies. Ponified video game characters. The possibilities are endless. As an artist I would encourage you to go outside your comfort zone once in awhile. However, if you really don't want to, I won't force you to. Do you have a gallery where you put your video game characters? I'd like to see them   .

Yes, I have a tumblr. Though do to the fact that my tablet has been a bitch to handle with I'm using traditional style and I don't want to upload it without a giant scanner to work with. But yeah, I'm drawing Samus right now, way more enjoyable and comfortable than ponies in my opinion.
