Silver watched him fly up, thinking she had done something wrong.. She's never felt this way about any pony before.. " oh dear, I hope he doesn't think I'm stupid" she accidentally said that aloud. She giggled at this and put her hooves in the pond letting the fish nibble at them.. " I do hope he comes back" she thought " he's the only one I'm at Lear comfortable around".. And she closed her eyes and started humming.

Leaf couldn't hear what Silver said out loud as he flew up into the sky. He then saw several picnic tables, that's where he saw the bankquet, Leaf saw it at the Vineyard area, he thought it was called. He then flew right back down to Silver. "I found it, it's at that vineyard there where I pointed out."

Silver glanced up at him, she felt her heart sigh with relief. "Alright" she said "Lets go, I am sorta hungry" she looked at Leaf directly then, "Leaf, are you okay? You seem tense or something" Silver was full of worry that he wasnt interested in her as she was him. So she glanced down a little hoping he wouldnt see the worry in her eyes.

"Hey now, there's nothing wrong with doing something that you enjoy doing is there?" Dusk asked with a tone of understanding in his voice. "You just have to ignore ponies when they're laughing at you, it's only because you're better than them..." he looked away at the end of his sentence "...I wish somepony would have told me that." He mumbled to himself "And besides, at least you can do magic!" as he spoke, he looked up at Stars horn, and then up to his own forehead "It's a gift you know, they're probably only jealous because they can't do it themselves...I know I am" he nudged her jokingly with a chuckle. "Anyway!" he stood up, a sudden energy in his voice "yes, food would be nice" he continued, offering a smile and a hoof to help Star up.

"Oh, there were other unicorns there. But they were shallow divas who always showed up in some outlandish dress that must've costed around 5,000 bits! And they ALWAYS insisted on me getting my coat dyed or something," Star Rain said with a little anger. "But they always got low grades," she laughed. She started to get a little uncomfortable under her own dress and accessories and took them off. "Sheesh, these get sweaty after a while," she said before teleporting them back home. She felt very cool now. "Alright, let's go," Star Rain said before slipping and falling into the pond.

Spotting a stallion on a bench, Earth Opal approached and sat down on the other side of the bench, leaning back on his hooves. "Aye, I see I'm not the only one not doing anything at the party," he began, observing the area around them, stretching his shoulders to make them more comfortable. "I saw that mare walk away from you. What exactly happened?"   ((OOC: Before you get on any false ideas, I'm just making conversation to pass time, so I can observe and wait for a post that signifies somepony isn't already cuddling with another pony.))

"It was nothing bad. I just got distracted, so she found something else to do." He sighed, before seeing Scamps approaching him once more with a black coated pegasus.

"Pretty boring, I guess... " she mumbled. "I haven't done much lately, not since....yeah," she said, trying to avoid the topic. She looked down for the rest of the walk, until finally, she saw Goldseek. She trotted over to him. "Hey, Gpldseek!" She said somewhat cheerily, trying not to look depressed. "I want you to meet my friend, Somber." She then turned to Somber. "Somber, this is Goldseek."

"Hey, Scamps. Sorry about leaving you earlier. I guess I got sort of distracted." He turned to the black pegasus. "Nice to meet you, Somber." He held a hoof.

Dusk was about to say something, when Star went tumbling hoof over head into the pond. He stood there for a second, trying to take in what just happened, before it hit him - Star was in the pond. He took half a step forward and peered over the edge - then burst out laughing uncontrollably. After a good 30 seconds of laughing, he caught his breath and looked over - "Are you alright?" he asked concerned, before cautiously hopping down the bank to the shallowest part of the pond.

 

He wasn't entirely sure what to say or do, but he knew he couldn't just sit there and laugh - no matter how funny it looked.

"Hey, Scamps. Sorry about leaving you earlier. I guess I got sort of distracted." He turned to the black pegasus. "Nice to meet you, Somber." He held a hoof.

"It's uh... Nice to... Meet you too.", Somber replied as he extended his hoof and shook Goldseek's. He turned to Scamps, seeing as though she was happy. What was with the extreme mood change? A second ago, she looked like she was going to bust out into tears... And now, she seemed joyful...

Rain shook his head. "No thanks. You go ahead...I am going to go to the place with all the vines...I noticed it earlier and I want to go check it out." He gave Lila a hug then stood up. "I will find you...Or you can find me...We will find each other eventually." He chuckled.

Lila rushed off to the food table. When she reached it she looked over the food. It was all, what her parents would consider, peasant food. Lila herself thought It was wrong to classify foods based on who ate them. Occasionally she invited some of the poor families to the castle to eat with her. Although her parents disapproved, they couldn't do anything about it. She grabbed a couple of dasie sandwiches and headed off to find Rain.

"You seem a bit shy... Look, I'm not going to hurt you. In fact, talking to you has made me feel better. So what would make you feel a bit better..? I mean, as far as talking to you..."

He was afraid that what he was saying might make her a bit scared.

Eve laughed nervously. She wasn't scared. No, scared wasn't the word for it...  Anyway, as I was saying, she laughed nervously, and took a deep, calming breath. "No... I'm fine... Really... There's just... So many new ponies...." She shuddered slightly. "This wasn't my idea, a party, you know? I wouldn't have invited so many ponies  I didn't know..."

Rain smiled as Lila trotted off to the snack table. He was about to walk down a small path leading away from the pond when he heard a splash. He turned around and saw that somepony had fallen in. He walked over. "Oh dear...Is everything ok ?" He asked, Looking at Star Rain who was now in the water.

Earth Opal, from next to Goldseek, began to offer a hoof, but pulled back when he turned to the pegasus, studying her, as if something had spooked him. He spoke up, saying, "My name's Earth Opal, Somber." The pegasus known as Scamps was still grinning. "Nice to meet you too, Scamps."

Now Somber broke his ponderings from Scamps and turned to this new pony.

 

"It's, uh... Nice to meet you.. Too..", he let out, looking a bit nervous. He didn't like being around a lot of ponies... Two was the max... If it went over, most likely, he would be vomiting from being so nervous.

Scamps, still plastering a smile on her face, watched as the colts shook hands. "Sorry, Goldseek. I shouldn't have gone off too far. I'm a bit careless and klutzy sometimes...." she sighed, remembering all too well the last time she was a klutz. "Err....anyways, do you guys want to go get food? I hear there's some in the vineyard. I just wanted you two to meet each other..." She said, having no idea what to say. She almist wished she was almost with only one of them; she could laugh with Goldseek, and find understanding with Somber. An dthat's when it hit Scamps; 'I'm going to have to choose......and leave....the other.....'

Dusk immediately froze at the sound of the new voice behind him, letting out a rather startled "Eep" as he did so. 

He quickly tried to halt his nerves by remembering - you're at a party Dusk, nothings going to hurt you - He then turned around to look at the owner of the voice - "I, um...we where just heading over to the snack table -" Dusk's stomach rumbled as he said this, and he blushed a little in embarrassment. Looking down at the floor, and then back over his shoulder at Star, before continuing "She just stood up and slipped in."

Dusk was about to say something, when Star went tumbling hoof over head into the pond. He stood there for a second, trying to take in what just happened, before it hit him - Star was in the pond. Rain smiled as Lila trotted off to the snack table. He was about to walk down a small path leading away from the pond when he heard a splash. He turned around and saw that somepony had fallen in. He walked over. "Oh dear...Is everything ok ?" He asked, Looking at Star Rain who was now in the water.

Star Rain swam up to the surface and spat out a bunch of water out of her mouth. She then looked around and saw Dusk laughing, and a pair of ponies, a mare and a stallion. "Hey, what's with all the commotion? If I drowned, THAT would've been bad!" she shouted out. Strangely though, Dusk's laughter made her laugh as well. As a response to Rain and Dusk's question, she replied,"Yeah, everything's ok!"

Dusks ears suddenly perked up at the sound of Stars voice, and he immediately snapped around to reach into the water to help her out. Her initial words rang in his ears like he was being scolded for stealing the last cookie as a colt, but when she started laughing he breathed a sigh of relief - Phew...thought i'd done something wrong there - he thought to himself. 

 

"Dont worry, there are plenty of ponies here, you wouldn't have drowned" Dusk tried to sound reassuring as he looked nervously at the water. "Good thing you took off your dress, no?" he joked.

"Yeah, that was a good thing for sure!" Star Rain replied. "That dress might've been made from cheap material, but it sure did charge loads of bits!" she continued on. She then walked out of the water and shook it off like a dog, sending the water everywhere.

"Well, I do, but it's much more difficult for traveling than sending stuff to a place I'm already familiar with," Star Rain said. "It's true that unicorns can use magic, but most just use magic that's related to their special talent. Only a handful of unicorns ever take up studying magic." She continued on to say,"Magic isn't very easy, has it involves focus and a little muscular strength."

"Hmm?" Dusks facial expression changed a little as he thought about all the complications that come with magic. "I've never thought about it like that before, where I come from there weren't any Unicorns or Pegasi around, only us earth ponies. I'd never actually seen any magic until I came to Ponyville." Looking around at the garden and the living plants around them "I wonder what special talent it took to create this?" He mused.

He looked around and tried to find a place where they could talk together... preferably alone.

"Is anyone in the maze over there..?"

I can understand that completely, when you first came up to me I thought you were going to hurt me or something along those lines.. "I guess I'm concerned you feel the same about me" Silver turned her head slightly as if to shield herself if Leaf was going to get angry at her for asking that..

They were the most troublesome lot in the garden... She looked back at Nightfall, giving him a searching look before averting her eyes yet again embarrassedly. "Did you want to go in the maze?"
