"It is, if you ask me. All of the magic I have learned in my past could not make a paradise like this. A nature lover like I thrives to see miracle works like this and learn all I can about it. I have never quite seen anything like this," he pointed out, swinging his hoof in a circular motion to gesture at the great garden, which seemed to bow modestly when he described them.

"Um...I....well, I'm a magician. But like, slight-of-hoof magician, since, I mean, obviously, I don't have a horn..." she said nervously. She could feel herself blushing. She had completely shut herself away from the world after thr accident. She didn't realize the toll it would take. She noticed that everypony was talking to the hostess. "Um....do you want to continue this conversation while walking over to see Evergreen?" She asked. 'Boy, am I awkward....'

Evergreen smiled at how each and every plant in the vicinity was bowing. "Oh, no, you've embarrassed them," she said, her voice slightly more confident this time. She trotted over to one plant, one that she obviously favoured, as it grew from an earthen pedestal, and she began to sing to it gently, a sweet, gentle song, as if she were crooning a nursery rhyme to a small foal. The words were of a different, unrecognisable language, but as she sang, her horn glowed cerise, and the air all around them began to glow with a cerise tint as the plant she held stood back up straight, and its petals perked, revealing it to be a four-leaf clover the size of a large sunflower. The edges of the leaf were trimmed with gold and cerise. The rose she wore behind her ear perked up as well, just as lively as the clover all of a sudden. As did all the plants in the vicinity.

"I don't see why not." Goldseek saw a blush form on Scamps face. "Anyway, Like I said, I'm Goldseek, and I'm a bit of a traveller I guess, never staying in one spot. I haven't had a home since..." Goldseek winced at the memory. "um... Actually, lets not talk about that." 'Stupid Stupid Stupid. Why would I even try to bring that up.'

Rain took a few more steps backwards. "Um...I'm just gonna..Go wander around. It was nice talking to you Evergreen." He smiled shyly, Then turned and walked over to the snack table. He grabbed a glass of water and drank it all in one gulp. He turned around and his antler's got tangled in a nearby tree's branches. He blushed and quickly moved away from the tree.

Being lost in the scenery as he was, Dusk almost crashed straight into the mare who had approached him. 

When out of the corner of his eye he saw the her, he jumped back a little and his ears lowered, as did his head until he was looking nervously to one side. "I'm...i'm ok..." he murmured quietly. "Sorry if I disturbed you, I didn't mean..." he cut off as he raised his head slightly to see the glorious purple coat of the mare before him.

Shell had rushed for the maze before anypony could see him, other than the host that is. He had gotten lost, and he still couldn't find his way out. He tried to cheat by looking over the hedges, but they seemed to grow higher or lower every time he tried, and he didn't want to wreck the place and just smash through everything, and he would seem petty to call out for help. But what else could he do?

 

"Uh... Hello? Anypony out there? I'm... lost..." he called out.

Leaf was just about close enough to Evergreen to hear her whisper. He didn't know why she done that. "You know something, since I'm polite at parties, I pretty much wouldn't touch anything not anything that took about weeks or months or years to create..." he commented.

Earth Opal's breath caught in his throat, this anonymous magic very new to him, and the plants glowed, each and every one, even the rose that the host wore in her mane. It was getting strange for him to keep referring to her by 'the host', so he decided to ask, "May at know your name?"

Lila watched as a mare seemed to make the plants grow but was to far away to see how. She made her way to the refreshments and grabbed a cup and poured some punch in it. She was about to drink it when she smelled the alcohol. Setting it down she let out a sigh. *Guess im going to have to drink something else* she thought to herself. Instead she got a glass of water and drank that, looking at the scenery around her.

"No it's, um, ok..." Star Rain replied in a voice edged with embarrassment. Oh no, what should I do now? He looks embarrassed, too... she thought, panicking a little. "Introduce yourself. Start up a conversation. Get to know them!" her father had told her. "It's ok... Um, I-I'm Star Rain. Who are you?" she asked. She was slowly becoming attracted to this stranger.

@@Opalicious, Evergreen looked at the brown pony curiously. "I... just introduced myself, moments ago... But I guess I'll do it again... I'm Evergreen... You can call me Eve if you like, everypony does.

She now spoke to both ponies. "It doesn't need protecting... Not from your touch anyway... There's so much residual  magic in the air here, from how I raise my plants, that they're quite as alive as we are. The garden loves new ponies..." Her voice trailed away.

Dusk swallowed quietly, trying to steady his nerves for the second time already this evening. "That's it Dusk, be nervous...everyone loves nerves" he scorned himself in his mind. He then lifted his head rather quickly to its normal position as he sensed the nerves in Star Rains voice. 

"My name is, um, my name is Creeping Dusk..." he stammered "It's uh, good to meet you"

He now couldn't help but think of a domestic animal, but immediately pushed it out of his mind, as these plants were graceful and clearly kind. He wasn't sure if they could read minds and if he had insulted them, but he hoped the opposite and stated, "I must have missed the introduction."

Shell grumbled, somepony had to hear him, or else he wasn't getting out of this stupid maze. "HEY, I'M LOST, CARE TO FIND ME?" he yelled out, hoping his size would help with the volume of his voice. Shell sat down and sighed, hoping a pegasus would soon find him. He didn't enjoy spending time in the maze, if he got out, he would stay out.

Rain noticed a mare walk over to the snack table and pour herself a glass of punch. He quickly got his antler's out of the tree's branches. He blushed hoping she didn't notice. "Uh...Hi." He said, Smiling at the mare. Noticing her put the glass of punch down and grab a glass of water.

Lila jumped at the sudden sound and turned around pointing her horn in the direction, a bright flame surrounding her horn in brilliant reds and oranges. When she saw the pony.. with antlers? Lila quickly pulled her horn up realizing she had just almost attacked another. Not that she hasn't before but robbers she disliked a lot. "Hello." she said her face written with shock from her sudden surprise.

Sorry, I'm horrible at names," she said, laughing a little at her flaw and turning a very faint shade of red. Her intentions of just studying this garden's magic gradually became lost.

"So does that help prevent them from being wreaked? Because I've heard incidents that plants were destroyed before..." Leaf said practically persistent with his accent. He then, in his head thought this was a waste of time that Firecracker sent him here.

Eve smiled, but her ear flicked, as she heard the hedges whispering, from some distance, 'We did it! We caught the big scary monster!' Eve groaned, and fully expecting a strange look for it, began to whisper back to the hedges. "Let the big guy go, now." 'But-' "No buts. You've been shifting to keep him stuck inside. Let him out. Straight line to the exit. NOW." The hedges seemed to shrink, revealing the giant thing's head, and opened a path straight to their boundaries, allowing for an exit. 

 

"Sorry about that," Eve said embarrassed. She looked at the orange stallion. "And the ones who killed them performed the ultimate act to kill my plants' innocence in my garden. It took me weeks to restore it. They've never been allowed back." For the first time, anger was audible on her voice, anger at the memory in this case, and it really was rather intimidating.

Lila jumped at the sudden sound and turned around pointing her horn in the direction, a bright flame surrounding her horn in brilliant reds and oranges. When she saw the pony.. with antlers? Lila quickly pulled her horn up realizing she had just almost attacked another. Not that she hasn't before but robbers she disliked a lot. Rain jumped when she pointed her horn at him. "Oops...Sorry for startling you." He blushed. "Um...My name Rain Fell." He gave a shy smile and took a few steps towards Lila, Making sure not to get his antler's tangled in the tree branches. *Ok...Don't screw this up, Rain.* He thought."Uh, Whats your name ?" He asked, holding out his hoof.

Dusk chuckled a little "dont worry, i'm terrible with names myself." He said with a rather more confident tone now. He noticed Star beginning to blush a little, and he couldn't help but smile to himself. 

"The garden?" he quipped - clearly forgetting where he was - "Oh yes! The garden!" he shyed down again, realising how stupid he must have sounded. 

"It's um...it's very nice I must say..." he exclaimed as he looked around - his gaze stopping on some rather odd shaped leaves - "what do you suppose they are?" he asked, pointing a hoof over towards some rather large flowers by the lake.

Shell turned his head as the hedges suddenly shrank and moved to form a straight line to the exit. He could see over the hedges even while sitting down. He stood up and slowly walked his way to the exit, since he was tired out from the constant walking around the maze.

 

He finally reached the exit, but collapsed as soon as he took a step out of the maze, resulting in a rather disrupting rumble from the earth.

She then noticed his hoof and paused for a second unsure of what to do, but her mothers lessons about this region came to play and shook his hoof. Back at FallenMoon they didn't have such rituals like this.

He picked up another glass of water then turned to look at Lila, But his antler's got caught in the tree's branches for the second time. "Ah buck." He muttered, Shaking them loose and blushing again.
