midnight waved as another pony he knew passed by, tlalli, she was an eccentric pony, but she made midnight smile alot, and to him, that was perfect.

 

as the teacher entered the classroom she shut the door and smiled, "hello everypony."

 

"hello mrs shine." everypony replied,

 

mrs shine, a purple coated unicorn mare who always seemed to be wearing reading glasses, with a dark blue mane, smiled at everypony then at midnight, who smiled back.

 

"alright class, today is the test, all of you will be practicing the spells we have been learning against live dark spells, everypony line up, midnight its time those private lessions ive been giving you came to good use."

 

everypony smiled, as midnight took his spot across from the line, a sudden blackness covering his hooves, "remember class, this is just practice, we dont want anypony to get hurt."

 

Midnight didnt know when he gained the spacific use of dark magic or how,but how he found out almost killed somepony in this exact class when the magic became uncontrollable, but mrs shine countered it easilly like it was nothing, then promised to help him try and control it.

 

and 3 years later, is where he was now, at first it was hard on the poor stallion, it took most of his concentration just to keep the power that seemed to keep growing, but now, it was like he was a unicorn, the only problem was, he really didnt know any spells, in all honesty he didnt know if they would work if he learned one.

 

shaking his head, he took his ready stance and smiled a competitive smile at his classmate, thunderbolt, "hit me with your best shot."
