This thread is for the archiving of Pony-related fan works that have been removed from Youtube, etc. by Hasbro. Currently, the entire Friendship is Witchcraft series as well as the deleted MLP Online demo are archived here.

 

Everything is uploaded in the highest available quality. Due to the large size of some videos, downloads may be in multiple parts. A program such as the freeware 7-Zip is required to open these multi-part files.

 

Note: I do not own any of these videos. The copyright is owned by the original creators, and, if video from FiM is used, Hasbro.

Most parodies and abridged series are being hit with the takedowns because the sites they're posted on don't bother to enforce the fair use laws and end up being bullies towards the channels that posted them, it's messed up actually if you look into everything going on.

Seems like a good idea, I don't like how stuff especially abridged series are getting taken off Youtube, I mean they're not using them for profit really.. So I see no harm.

 

I really don't like the fact that episodes of MLP are getting taken down aswell. Its getting harder to find episodes on Youtube. I don't wanna lose my ability to watch episodes on Youtube, seeing as thats my only way of watching them.

 

For me though FIW hasn't been removed as far as I can tell, I can still watch it I believe. Same with The mentally advanced series, and I'm in the US.

 

Only thing I've seen that I've had a continued problem with is Otakuascended's lets watch. Thats the only thing I've seen that I can't access anymore. And the individual episodes of MLP have become a little harder to find.

 

I hope it never comes to the point where MLP stuff is all removed from Youtube, I will be quiet sad if that happens. :/

 

I'll give Hasbro and Youtube the benefit of the doubt though that it won't happen.

From what it looks like youtube and other sites aren't enforcing the fair use laws that parodies fall under and are bullying the accounts that upload them into submission by punishing them if they contest the block. There's a lot of things being done wrong here. Not by hasbro necessarily but by youtube and other sites.

Hmm, I can still view all the episodes apart from 7, but best to have them downloaded. I can understand Youtube taking down copyright episode material, but abridged series? It's against their own rules. Thanks for the uploads.

What is the link for the Mentally Advanced Ep. 11? It isn't on the playlist...currently downloading Ep. 1, though.

Should have most of those episodes uploaded by the end of the day.

UPDATE: Most of the Mentally Advanced Series that isn't available in the US has been uploaded. Let me know if I forgot anything; I am currently downloading Episode 12 to upload since it seems to be missing from the US Youtube.

I think maybe 1 or so episodes of mentally advanced series doesn't work, but the others do.

Theres also random episodes of MLP that are really hard to find.. I have to be very specific, and sometimes do a bit of digging.

 

And yeah, youtube's content I.D is really annoying.

I'd like to point out this may not be Hasbro's fault, Youtube has automated copyright bots that tend to loose it start nuking everything in site on occasion.

First off I want to say thanks JakobGibby for creating this thread (This is my first post ever). This has been the only place so far that I have been able to find anything fan-made (and fantastic) related that was taken down.

 

Now to get to business I would like to let you know that you are missing "Fighting is Magic", that is ... if you have any plans of updating your mediafire folder. I would have liked to have been able to get this before it was removed from EVERYWHERE. It looks amazing and if you happen to have it or if you happen to know someone who has the most finished version, could you possibly help me acquire it?

 

I have recently (in the past few months) discovered this amazing show and its incredibly artistic and talented fanbase and I would have liked to have discovered it all even sooner. Personally I would like to collect any and all great fanworks with of course crediting each and every single participant/contributor so that others who discover this fanbase can have a chance to enjoy all of the great works made by everyone.

 

Thanks for any help or consideration. If you are ever interested I would like to trade/give you you any MLP stuff that I have in return.

I hate the content ID system too. It nuked my Pokémon Y videos. Thankfully it's only a match, not a strike. YouTube should REALLY sharpen their system up. Content ID is broken to the point where a company claimed a random video that had singing birds as the only sound, and they won against the dispute and got to put their own ads on the damned video. I've got most of the FiW series downloaded (it was not blocked here), but my YouTube downloader gave me three of the same episode, so I miss two others. What I do when it comes to watching MLP online: I just watch the initial episode quickly on YouTube and do that every week. Once the season is done, I go to search for that guy who uploads the entire season. I quickly download it in only 22 minute before it is removed. Success! 1 whole season in only 1.14GB

Thank you. Hopefully you have one where Fluttershy is actually playable. I admit I have found a couple of versions and the most finished one I have includes these fully completed characters.

Rainbow is somewhat finished but Fluttershy is just a single picture that moves around. Not very exciting. This version also has an intro when playing the story mode. To be honest I don't recall where I found it but I will either include a link to where I found it or upload it into some sort of free file-share service. I haven't looked into it at all since I have been busy and I will be for a long while. When I get to it I will share it.

The version of fighting is magic that I have does not have Rainbow or Fluttershy but I have the online verson that you can set uo servers with. If anyone wants it send me a PM and I can reply with the link.
