I agree. A knight, which, for some reason, I prefer to refer to as warrior, would help a lot.

 

Past the fact that I am a Tracker, if I were to get more specific on my character, would I be more of a survivalist archer?

Knight pretty much stand there and don't let enemies pass. They go Gandalf, but it actually works.

 

They can also wear superheavy armor.

Well, before we even think about starting, we have to make sure the GM is ready with the characters, map, fighting, extra rules, etc. It's a LOT of work. If he says were ready, we can play. Also, I can't play today or tomorrow, I have got to go to a Taekwondo tournament in Indiana, so Maybe Sunday I can play. How does that sound?

I have no desire to get sick again this winter so I practically wash all the store's money in hand sanatizer now, hahaha. That way there will be no repeats of last weekend.

I'm just now starting out in all of this, but I have been reading all I can to try and learn about D&D etiquette and custom.

I feel like I'll be able to keep up (whenever this whole thing starts), though I might need some help to fully understand specific terminology (though I suppose that's what Google is for).

Actually, you may just want to ignore the above. I, being eager to join, neglected to read through ALL of the pages of this post, and thus failed to notice the position of mage/wizard already occupied. My fault. Well, if you all would still want another player (if not, that's fine), then I would always be glad to make a new character to balance everything out. 

 

If twilight_sparkle does accept me, then I would probably go for being a necro or paladin. I would like some confirmation of the validity of any of this before I make a new character, though. 

 

I'm really sorry if this causes any trouble with development or management.
