So, Cracked just angered a chunk of the fandom...

Wait, you got banned for that?

I see comments written like that almost every time I look in the comment section. Do you just have to get thumbs downed enough or do the staff actually go in, remove your post, and ban you?

I agree that you don't deserve a ban. Unless you have done that sort of thing multiple times. Which I am guessing you haven't.

Is this a permaban or just a temp?

Normally I just make a joke relating to the artical (which I try to make funny to everyone else). Cracked have never contacted me. No warnings, and no details about how long my ban is for.

The post got 12 down thumbs and 9 thumbs up.

I read this over again, and the entire thing is two things

"Hahahha look at the freaks in the circus, Billy. Be glad we aren't like them."

And about Fallout:Equestria,

So containing things from the very game it's based upon is bad? "Rape and sex?" Where, might I ask. There is the fan-made chapter 20.5, but that's it.

Actually, I thought the article was sort of funny.

Yes, the fandom has some weird if not unsavory components to it. We already understand that such instances do not define Bronies as a whole. But let's not get upset each and every time those dark corners receive attention.

It's a joke article to begin with, so outrage is basically feeding into the desired result.

Meh, I actually thought it was funny.

I agree with 4 and 3, but Fallout: Equestria is great.

Also, I haven't read Rainbow Factory yet, but I read Cheerilee's Garden, which is supposedly worse, and love it.

Seriously, it's really good.

I shook my head in disappointment and detest of this article. Not because it offended me, which it failed to do so. It's because this unfunny and boring article is ironically on a comedy website.

I found that article quite entertaining actually. Between:

"it manages to be a spot-on representation of what would be screaming inside the mind of a schizophrenic toddler as he beat his mother to death with a toaster."

"to explore the dark implications of a rainbow factory in the sky, and MERCIFUL JESUS THIS IS A CARTOON SHOW FOR LITTLE GIRLS."

I was laughing my ass off.

I think its kind of pathetic that they are messing with us just to get views, attention, and money. Im not going to take anything from the sight as a serious statement because its there to poke fun at everything.

I just dont like when people see this kind of stuff and assume its all true without having actually looked into the fandom. I suppose that it cant be helped though, people will always do stuff like this for attention and money.

That's how the world works. Sometimes you just have to deal with the assholes in life, and you have to learn to handle the bite.

That's pretty insulting to people who do have schizophrenia. I have a disorder myself and I see a bunch of people using as a way to attack others and you can't believe how much I really want them to jump off a cliff.

I have disorders as well, aspergers syndrome and trichotillomania, possibility of actually having schizophrenia instead of AS . Also have/had two grandparents with Schizophrenia . Damn genetics

I still found it hilarious though. Something about the imagery involved.......in a funny cartoonish kind of way ^_^ , not demented toddler actually murdering their mother  :o

Schizophrenia's a new one to me, as far as using disorders to take potshots at bronies, but by far the most common one seems to be autism. I guess it's a lot easier for some people to use legitimate disorders as arbitrary insults than to actually try to understand what it is we find so appealing about the show, but pathetic people will be pathetic people...

I think its dumb and a waste of energy to get angry over something so trivial and stupid and of all things over a site with a reputation/purpose of existing which is to entertain and poke fun at all things life..not necessarily just our fandom in a nutshell which i'll admit easy because bronies are often misunderstood..but by getting bent out of shape and reacting to it you're giving it fuel and ammunition to attack us more..its better to take a deep breath like how Cadance showed Twilight and ignore the article ever  existed..save your anger for a fight worth fighting my friends.

A comedy site, seriously? Now, you know that we can't take everything seriously especially when a comedy site tries to make fun of us. This isn't anything new, there is nothing to do but just laugh at Cracked's stupidity. I wouldn't really start a fight that isn't worth fighting.

I personally enjoy Cracked, some of their writers are amazingly funny. To be honest, it's no big deal for me personally. Everything in this world has things it can be made fun of for.

It's not the regulars anyway, this was written by some new guys.

I don't think I'd be as frustrating if it wasn't for the massive failures in research, if you're going to make fun of something, do it right.

Ah, that explains why the article itself seems so bad. It's kind of disappointing, actually. We can't even get a good satire for our fandom.

Some people look at Cracked in the same way as the Daily Show: they think it's a serious, viable way to get objective information - which is totally BS.

It's even worse because the the same two posted a list of bad fanfiction that was actually pretty funny not long before this. I think they just disliked us and wanted to take a lazy and cheap shot at us.

It's also funny, because someone else posted a video skit lampooning bashing people for their taste in TVshows a couple days later, I wonder if that was intentional.
