Okay I thought I'd ask this here, cause I'm stumped.  In the QuizUp trivia game that just added a pony section today, they have this question:

 

What is Rarity's genius business model?

 

The correct answer they have is, "Selling clothes to nudists."

 

I'm trying to figure out where that came from and wanted to see if any of you Rarity obsessed people remember where it's from...  It seems vaguely familiar but I can't remember if that's a joke in some comic or book that I'm not remembering or is it some fanon joke that somehow made it into the game?  I'm just lost on where they got that from because all the other questions seem to have come directly out of episodes, books and comics...

Anyway, it's all Spike's fault, pretty much, because he took Rarity to Tartarus and she found this darling little accessory she thought Sweetie Belle would love, but she tried it on first and it possessed her, making her into this sexy, yet greedy sadist.

 

It definitely wasn't/isn't (not sure if it's still going) my favorite Tumblr blog out there, but it was ok.

 

Not sure if that's it, though, but that's certainly my best guess. Seems a bit vague for a Trivia game.

The AskNudistSweetieBelle Tumblr blog. In that blog, Sweetie Belle is a nudist and Rarity is like, this possessed super-villain who got this law passed that everypony in Equestria has to wear clothes, and she gets a monopoly on it. It's all anthro, too. Not gonna lie, she's sorta hot in that comic   Anyway, it's all Spike's fault, pretty much, because he took Rarity to Tartarus and she found this darling little accessory she thought Sweetie Belle would love, but she tried it on first and it possessed her, making her into this sexy, yet greedy sadist.   It definitely wasn't/isn't (not sure if it's still going) my favorite Tumblr blog out there, but it was ok.

I was thinking it was something like that considering one of the other answers was selling giant hats which I know came from FIW.  It was just driving me nuts because I felt like if they made that joke in something canon like the comics, I definitely would have remembered it.

I'm not super active in the Rarity group, but I think I can speak for everybody when I say everybody is welcome.  She's not even my favorite of the Mane 6 and I still always feel welcome here when I post, so I wouldn't worry about it.  Seriously though everybody here is super nice and as long as you like Rarity, you'll fit right in.

Could also just be that 90% of ponies don't wear any clothes in the show (well except for galas and such)
